Got a nail in one of the tires on my car this Saturday. My Chevy dealership did not have a mechanic who knew how to take run-flat tires off of a Corvette. I brought it to Bruno’s with no appointment. Jon spent the better part of an hour taking the time to jack the car carefully (very stressful for both of us) , get the tire off and patched effectively. He seemed happy to do it. Dying breed, glad he was there. Helped me out tremendously and I highly recommend.

horrible service. my fiancé paid for gas & they told him his card declined but when my fiancé checked his account. the money was taken out. it was nice to know they tried to comfort him knowing it really pissed him off but one of the workers started commenting saying "that's all the money you have? you can't pay for more?" FIRST OFF MONEY IS MONEY, IT IS HIS MONEY THAT HE EARNED. who are y'all to tell him to spend more when there is proof that it was taken out of his card. they didn't try to fix the problem which caused a scene. having bystanders recording to make my fiancé look like he's crazy when really, they don't even know what they're doing. trying to say my fiancé spent too much or whatever through his card and that's why it did that. so, my fiancé ended up paying in cash. they didn't resolve the problem. the moment my fiancé left; he checked his bank account again to see the money was refunded. first & last time ever going to this gas station.

Pete Chris and John are beyond phenomenal. I will never go to another mechanic again. They are honest and they’re scheduling shows because they are busy because they are trustworthy. I would rather wait for good service brisk an idiot touching my vehicle again

BEST GAS STATION! For me, this is the BEST gas station in the Drexel Hill area and along Rt. 1 North to Philly! I always buy their very high quality Sinclair gas (93 octane) for my motorcycle and car. It gives me the best gas mileage ever and is competitively priced. Also, the owner, Pete, is very good, contientious, and proud of his excellent product! I would be too. TWO THUMBS UP!

Great Service! I had a nail in my tire out of the blue. I called Bruno’s Service Center on a Saturday afternoon and they said to bring my car right down. I was in and out within 30 minutes with patched tire. It was greatly appreciated and really helped me out with a fast turnaround and a more than fair price.

Pete was amazing! I’m from out of town and have a ten hour drive home with two kids. My tire pressure light came on and I needed help quick on a Saturday. I happened to see the shop and stopped on a whim. He fixed everything so fast and he was very kind! Thank you Pete! Now I know I can drive home with peace of mind!!

The mechanic- a fellow in his early to mid 30's I guess, at the end of his shift on a Saturday, helped me w/out hesitation, quickly sussed out my problem, and thoughtfully and professionally corrected the issue.

I moved to the neighborhood two years ago, and the easiest personal service to replace was my auto mechanic when I started going to Bruno's. They perform quality work for a fair price, and I've turned a few wrenches in my time so I know what's going on under the hood. They do a good and honest (nobody is perfect) job troubleshooting the issue and explaining the work required before performing any repair. They have had no problem when I've wanted to defer a repair when they identify a problem that isn't critical but will need to be addressed at some point (most shops apply the "it needs done now!" hard sell in those cases).

We have been going to Bruno's for at about 20 years. Do they get it right every time - nope. Do they get it right the vast majority of the time? Yep. Price usually feels fair for the work. In my experience they propose a plan and a price that I would for myself if I had their knowledge. Key safety issues always get treated first and completely. Reliability issues that are not life and death get a proposal for a very good resolution for a reasonable expense. Comfort and aesthetics get sort of a, "if you want to" kind of response. It's all tailored to the economics, usability and safety of the issue but also the age and condition of the vehicles. I have had new cars and old cars and they seem to have a perfect touch for what is right for that vehicle under the circumstances. Pete is nobody's image of State Dept. Diplomat but I bet John Kerry couldn't fix my alternator either. He is a nice, honest and knowledgeable guy who seems to fit in the "really urgent" cases. Chris, his main mechanic is great too. I trust them both with the cars I drive my family in from car seats to college.

Most expensive gas station in the area. Took my car to get fixed there once. They didn't fix the problem and charged me $170 for something I didn't need. Not to mention the $8 "because my oil was a quart low."

Bruno's Garage is the last of a dying breed. Pete Bruno is a local guy, and personally oversees the work done, he knows his stuff and though he seems gruff he has a heart of gold. I came to know him by accident when broken down at 10:30 at night, I limped in and he personally helped me out even though it was clearly past closing time. I will return there for sure. Good people.
