SCAMMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Terrible experience. I scheduled an appointment 5 days in advance and even left work early to make it on time. When I arrived, they told me they couldn’t take any more cars. When I asked why they gave me an appointment in the first place, they had no response. Very unprofessional!!!!!!! AVOIDDDDDDDD
I had my car towed to Derry Auto & Tire one morning, for a ( No Start Issue ) that I had been having . And I'm telling you.., In a matter of hrs, I had received a phone call, with a FuLL Diagnosis and Estimate ,. The following morning.., I went n I picked up my car... N, . I could hardly believe it. She fired right up, n hasn't given me any more trouble since. I mean, WOW!!, mind blowing . However they figured the ReAL, UnDerLyiNg PRoBLeM out , , and then how to fix it !! , It's beyond me. I haven't had OnE SinGLe issue since I've picked up my vehicle from Derry Auto & Auto, n I just want to let it be known that, if I were EvER to have any / some kind of QueStiON ) IsSuE with ANY Of MY CaR / VeHiCLES again, Derry Auto & Tire ( IS - MY GO TO ), from HERE ON OUT. !!!! Derry Auto and Tire helped me with replacing a flat tire on Easter weekend. The manager and his crew were very professional and were able to locate an exact match for my car's tire and also got the replacement done in no time. They also gave me a very reasonable price for the tire and labor.
I noticed a few reviews talk about the aesthetics of the waiting area. Whilst I agree it could be improved it doesn't matter imo - the crew at this shop seems really good at what they do which is all that matters. A well run local establishment - I can't be more thankful for their help on a holiday weekend in an area I'm not from.
Kate is amazing! She went out of her way to help me when my car battery died at a funeral service at Indiantown Gap. She herself was also there for a service I believe. She opened her trunk in a skirt and wasted no time getting my car started...mind you it was beyond freezing! Thank you Kate you went above and beyond!! I love women in this field!!!
This establishment needs to be shut down. They charge obscure prices to not even do the right job. I’ve had to take my car back countless times and even get towed by them a few days after they “fixed” it because they did something wrong. The only reason I went back is because I thought they were nice people but they are far from it. Ed is so rude and even when you have proof they messed up he will not take accountability. If you do choose this place I recommended to document everything like I did just in case.
Alex and Charles saved us on our road trip. We had a nail stuck in our tire and called many places in the area, no one could fit us in, but they could and got us in and out in under 30 minutes!!
Excellent customer service, very reasonably priced. We blew a tire on our travel trailer on a long distance trip. We called around and estimates were astronomical and expected to have our camper for multiple days. Derry was extremely accommodating and allowed us to stop by on our way out of town. They did a complete tire replacement and had us on our way very quickly.
They made an appointment for me for one day and delivered it to me the next day. I do not recommend this place. They did a bad job. And the work they do there is very expensive. The person who attended is very rude and is not friendly with the clients. Don't lose your money and time in there
This was one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had. The staff’s communication was extremely disrespectful, showing a complete lack of professionalism and courtesy that made the entire process upsetting. My concerns were dismissed, leaving me feeling unheard. The man I spoke to had an attitude that made it seem like they didn’t care about what I had to say. At one point, they even hung up on me intentionally, only to call back seconds later without any genuine effort to listen or address my concerns about the pick-up time.
There nothing good about this shop they initially told me it would take them a day or two to look at my truck that was the first lie it took them 2 months to look at my truck ed took advantage because I told him I would be traveling out of state for work. He told me my 2 battery’s on mt diesel was bad then he said the alternator he supposedly changed my differential he never did instead he painted them no alternator got replaced he never did anything to my truck I took it to him cause of a bad shake which is why he supposedly had to do differential when I picked it up he said I have a bad shock after I left with the truck bad shake was still happening after he said it was supposedly fixed it gets worst he charged me $3,500 for nothing the shake was from a shock not having a bushing not the differential like he claimed from the shake my whole front end got bad now I have to pay more money to fix my truck he rude very unprofessional biggest scam artist I’ve ever met don’t let his workers fool you there all in on it best advice I can give you. After all that sitting he let me drive my truck and said it’s not gonna leave you on the side of the road and that’s exactly what happened it left me on the side of the road. Ed’s bad for buisness!
Nothing but good things to say about this shop after my pickup broke down on I-81. I was towed to Derry where the trouble was identified and an estimate prepared promptly. They stayed past closing time to do the repair and got me on the road again that night. I'm extremely grateful to the crew at Derry for their help...great people.
I came in yesterday because there was a loud banging noise on the front of my car. I’m currently driving down the east coast alone and when I heard the noise I freaked out. I pulled over to this auto shop hoping they could take a look at it. They were super kind to me, found the problem, and fixed it asap. I’m back on the road today with no issues! Though I doubt I’ll ever be in that city again, I highly recommend this place for others in need.
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Stranded in Hershey with a flat, needed to get home to NJ. They picked up my car, had a new tire on, ready to go in just a few hours. Professional, helpful, competitive price.
Through AAA, their roadside assistance was very prompt. They had the tire that I needed (I called 8 auto and tire shops and nobody had my tire size on site) and they promptly replaced my tire. The service was amazing and the little puppy in the waiting room helped the time go by. 10/10 experience!
Called AAA for dead jeep. Christian responded and was here in 15 min. Tried to jump start it. No luck. Typical Jeep “charging system error”. Christian got it loaded and off the Heritage to get it fixed. Real professional young man. I appreciate his enthusiasm and great attitude.
About a year ago I took my car to the shop to get worked on and they screwed me over big time. I was having issues with my car and I spent all day there and even baby sat the guys kid for free. He charged me over $2,000 for "work" he did. He told me to bring it back in 2 days and he said it was safe to drive. The next day my boyfriend and I take the car out for a drive and my engine blew. I then had it towed to the dealership and they looked at the car and told me that they did absolutely nothing except change a break and a light. I wasted $2,000 for nothing. I was out of a car for 1 year and it was hell. I don't recommend them to anyone at all.
Car broke down 2 1/2 hours from home. It was a Saturday afternoon had it towed here. He called me first thing Monday morning and said he was going to look at it first thing. Long story short there was not anything wring with my car. He asked if I had recently had oil changed. Apparently there was some oil on the motor and it was melting off which caused smoking. The best part was he was honest!! And didnt charge me a dime!
It was a cold, blustery morning when Christian rolled up in the tow truck to rescue by battery-depleted vehicle. He was dispatched by AAA and arrived without delay. He was reassuring, friendly and professional. Things went as smoothly as they could!
Ed and his crew are honest. These days, that's enough, but they are also friendly, knowledgeable, well-equipped, and charge surprisingly low prices for their work, which is quality. Not always the fastest, but always fair, and done right the first time.
One star is being gracious. They were rude, had an attitude and were completely unprofessional. My husband had his car picked up late morning to be towed and by 5 pm it was still not at its destination. It’s an 1 hour drive too where it was going. We picked it up as soon as we realized it was at their shop. They were very rude to us and refused to take any accountability. Don’t make the same mistake we did and go elsewhere.

We traveled from Millville, NJ (3 hours south) to Harrisburg for a mission trip with 5 teens and 2 leaders. On our way to lodging our last day our bus broke down on the highway. After AAA sent the wrong tow truck Ed was more than happy & willing to send his awesome tow truck driver (Jesse) to pick up our bus. In no time he contacted us and took our bus to the shop where Ed got right to business. He made the experience and. Process SO EASY and eased A LOT of stress from the situation.
Ed was upfront and honest about what he thought the issue was, how he could handle it, and and also gave the worst case scenario so I could have a plan A & B… He was absolutely swift with ordering parts - getting them in first thing in the morning - and fixing our bus right afterward so we did not skip a beat the next day for travel.

I’ve been coming to this shop for a few years now and honestly, I can’t see how anyone can right a bad review about Derry Auto . Since day one of me coming to shop I felt comfortable leaving my truck for Ed and his team of mechanics to work on it. Once I pulled in the parking lot , went inside and saw a New Bentley being worked on , I knew that I was in the right place ! All I can say about Derry Tire is they are very good mechanics . I won’t take my Truck anywhere else. I recommend them to all who need to have their vehicle serviced !
Our son had a tire explode on I-83 on his way to college. AAA towed his car here. They were very helpful and fixed up his car the next morning. Thanks for all the help!
