Quick service, great attitudes all around, very helpful. Took my car in for an after purchase general inspection and Americo was very informative with any questions I had. I will definetely be back for service in the future.

My husband and I moved to this area two years ago and picked PMC Garage out of the Google search results - not knowing if they were good or not. Since then, they have been our mechanic and have proven to be everything we look for in mechanic, plus some!
PMC has inspected our Nissan Rogue and repaired it after an accident. They explain in concise detail the repairs it needed and when quoting a price, that's the price we pay!
We appreciate their knowledge, clear communication, and their door-to-door pick-up/drop-off service. We are able to text our concerns, or change of plans, which for us is easier than making a call. They are also only a call away.

I had a great experience! After receiving a quote for over $2,500 for repairs and replacements on my vehicle, I trusted my knowledgeable friend’s advice to take my 2017 vehicle to PMC Garage. Not only did they do all the work quickly and for less than half the original quote, my tire air was topped up and they were great at communicating all through the process. I got to meet Gizmo and Dozer and will definitely use PMC Garage for all of my vehicle needs from now on.
After a few less-than-stellar experiences over the last 2 years, they got it right this time. Did exactly what I asked for, and even went above and beyond. They reached out when I was concerned about my battery to let me know that while the alternator was technically still in spec, it was borderline and ideally should be replaced now too. Price was fair, timeline was great, I'm happy. Our other car is in there now, hoping to continue our business with PMC going forward.
I called needing my car inspected. The person that scheduled the appt was very kind and helpful. Once I dropped the car off they were very kind to give me a ride home so I didn't have to sit and wait. Once they got the car done I got a message and also a copy of the invoice so I wasnt shocked when going in. The whole around experience was excellent from the beginning to end. Thanks again for a wonderful experience.
Expecting care to be done by 5pm or closing. No phone call that it wouldn't be done. Called before they closed, said it's on rack and will be done tomorrow. Everyone left at 3pm. Couldn't answer when. Being very upset that they didn't call, told the shop I will be there at 8am and it better be done. My truck is my work.
They decided to complete the repair. The manager did the work.
I didn't know until I got a message that the truck was done.
Why wasn't that the first response? Very poorly run.
Had my truck in for an oil pressure sensor replacement. The problem is fixed and the final invoice amount was lower than what we discussed on the phone, which is always a pleasant surprise. Great job!
Always good to have a hometown garage that is reliable, reputable and performs good work at reasonable rates. Have had couple excellent appointments and repair through them and see no reason not to continue. Give them a try!
I love this garage and everyone in it. They serviced my MINI when no one else would, and they always completed the work quickly. They take the time to explain the things that I'm curious about. Once, a belt shredded when I was far from home, and I wasn't sure what was happening. I called the garage and explained what was going on, and our call got disconnected. Dan kept calling to tell me it wasn't safe to drive my car and didn't stop until he spoke to me.
I'm moving an hour away from Dauphin and just had my last emergency repair from them. The repair was completed 4 days earlier than expected.. I will miss them so much, and I hope I find a shop even half as amazing as theirs. And, they have dogs :) What's not to love?

I brought my 2019 Subaru Forrester in because my heat and AC stopped working. Suggested I needed a new thermostat.
When I picked the car up, Amerigo tells me there was no thermostat in the vehicle, but he put one in. He told me then it was likely going to be a problem. I was confused, but drove home, scratching my head.
I barely made it home with the vehicle overheating. I did a quick Google search only to find out that 2019 Subaru Forrester’s do not have thermostats.
You might assume a competent mechanic would notice the lack of a thermostat and look It up, as I did. Nope. He just put one in anyway. Not even sure how he did that, since there isn’t a thermostat for that vehicle.
I called and explained the situation, and told him I would be taking my vehicle to Subaru to correctly get it taken care of. I also told him he needed to remove the thermostat he should never have put in. At least he did that much, but I still paid a $350 bill for the initial work. This work he did was actually harmful to my vehicle. He also use the wrong cooling, so I had to have the vehicle towed to Subaru.
I sent an email To the owners, via the website. I said that I had an issue I would like to talk about. I gave them a chance to make it right, before I left a negative review. They chose to ignore me, so here’s my. Negative review.
I will never bring any of my vehicles there again. They had an opportunity to simply do right by a good customer, and they chose to stick to their guns and keep their $350.
Bad business if you ask me. I would have given them a lot more money over the years. Have they done the right thing.
Been going here for a couple of years. Never had a bad experience. Finding a mechanic you can trust is difficult but these guys have come through every time. Even better that they're local to me.
Second time in the last year I've requested a tire rotation and the garage denied me. First time was because I had newer tires on the front and older ones in the back. Understandable. 6 months ago I got a set of 4 brand new tires. 5500 miles later I come in for a tire rotation and oil change just to be informed that the mechanic won't rotate my tires stating more tread depth on the front than the back. It's a FWD car with quality tires that are nearly new, well maintained, and have never been rotated. It's not plausible for the rear tires to be worn so much more than the fronts that they'd refuse a rotation.
Also, despite saying clearly on both the phone, and written on my envelope requesting a full synthetic oil change, I was charged $90 for the oil change, using synthetic blend oil. I was told that since I hadn't authorized the optional full synthetic oil, they didn't use it.
Unacceptable, and while the location is convenient, I'll likely have to find another facility to service my vehicles going forward. They're nice guys, but the back-to-back-to back bad experiences I've had are enough to send me elsewhere.

I was told by the dealership that my van needed to be replaced from all the rust throughout the chassis. Americo took a look around and was confident it had many more years of faithful service. He had the rust remediation done and replaced the parts that were most needed. Now she is running as good as the day we got her. Great job, PMC! Thank you for reviving my family's main vehicle.

I like the fact I can make an appointment and wait for my oil change, which was quick. The waiting area is clean and comfortable! And they have a loyalty program too! Check them out!
Great crew after the new guys took over, helpful and honest. Saved my Dad $500 by telling him they could do the work for $1,000 , but that they had a guy who would do it for half the price and do a better job. We took it up to the gentleman in Grantville and picked it up the next day. Not many shops would do that. Thanks guys!
This was my first service visit with PMC Garage for an oil change and they provided great service at a reasonable price. Americo and the crew are very professional and friendly. I waited in a very clean waiting area and enjoyed seeing Gizmo. I will be back for future service visits and highly recommend them.
My wife got a flat tire. So I brought her Jetta in with no appointment. They were very friendly and took care of fixing our issue with the tire. They stayed in contact and gave us different ways we could get this taken care of. The new staff seems very friendly and knowledgeable.
My father in law takes all his vehicles to PMC and they came highly recommended by him. I now have been taking my Truck here for the past 2 years.They have also done the yearly inspection on my travel trailer as well. They are always able to get me in and out quick, with no issues. Most importantly no shady business. These guys are great !
I had to take my rav 4 in to get inspected. I didn't have an appt and when I called they took it right away. The new staff was so friendly and kind from the phone call up till the very end when i picked my car back up. I love the system they have with texting when your vehicle is ready , if it would need any work and the invoice. I am very happy to see that they got new people in there and they know what there doing and are super kind. Will be doing business with them again.
My wife took her jeep in for inspection and emissions passed but was told needs brake pads and rotors 1100.00, I do all my own brake work and I pulled the wheels and nothing wrong with my pads and rotors, now i have to take somewhere else for that inspection because appears to me that is how they make their money taking advantage of female customers, I advise anyone to get a second opinion from someone that actually knows what they are looking at. I will never go back and advise anyone against their loyalty program. They should have an honesty program.
