Jake came out to Amish Country and brought me a new package car and saved the day!!! It was a monthish ago, but he was awesome, super helpful, and deserved recognition, he even brought me a proper sized car for the type of terrain I'd be experiencing in that area, which is rare among towing usually. Listen. MR. ROLLAND AND ASHLEY ARE EVERYTHING. Being pulled over in Carlisle, PA was scary until I met not only the two police officers, but these two took the fear away that many African Americans experience. Mr. Rolland was so polite and passionate, and offered many solutions. Amy talked to me as if we had known each other for years.
Listen, if you get pulled over and this company tows your vehicle, know that they will handle you and your vehicle with care. Thank you, Mr. Rolland, for sitting with me until my ride came, and thank you, Amy, for being down to earth and kind. Two epic people from different walks of life who handle me with care. Customer service is finest.
Driver for giant company and I lost steering and they sent out Tracey to bring me and the truck back. Very professional and great guy to talk to on the way back. He arrived quickly for being a late night call. He arrived and had the rig hooked up in about 15-20 minutes and we were on the way shortly after that. Definitely one of the quickest hooks ups I’ve EVER had. Definitely was a pleasant guy to talk to being a younger trucker and him sharing some of his stories which made the 2 hour ride back go quickly and for me to understand more of how it was.
Alternator belt blew out on the turnpike and they showed up quickly, towed me to the shop and went above and beyond to get me back on the road safely after hours on a Friday afternoon. All staff were really friendly, very grateful for their service. These guys are exceptional!
Jake went above and beyond for my son who was stranded just outside of Carlisle. Cindy, the dispatcher, helped find a dealership to drop off his car. Thank you both for all you did. Definitely 10/10.

I was picked up by Harry yesterday. He was very friendly given my situation. Unfortunately was late due to traffic but he made me feel at ease. Stopped to get gas & food and made the situation less stressful. Great man & father. Take care of that man!
Jake was awesome! When my rental truck broke down on the side of the highway at night, he got me off the road quick and towed to a mechanic. He came a lot faster than the rental company told me. Much appreciated for the help!
We had a with situation with a motorcycle stuck on a steep hill on our property and called H J on a Sunday evening. Mackenzie was polite, understanding and got us set for help the next morning, allowing us to choose arrival time. Andy arrived right on time, was polite and assured us he could help. He didn't just drag the bike on its side up the hill, he set up a rig that got the bike on its wheels and rolled it up, likely saving us a lot of money we would have to spend repairing broken parts if the bike did get dragged uphill on its side.
HJ is a totally professional outfit with great CS. They were there when we needed them, took a job some people would probably turn down, and treated us with respect.

I am a flattened trucker that needed assistance loading booms and Jake showed up quick and loaded my trailer fast and safely. Thanks HJ towing for helping me out they have great service ! Not only towing trucks but picking up booms too.

I had to call these guys after burying my 28,000 pound camper and truck to the axles. We had to get creative on how to get it out, since their heavy duty wrecker was sinking in the field too. They went back to the shop to get a skid steer with a winch box, and that did the trick. They had to drag me about 60 yards back to the main road. They initially gave me a range of cost and said it varies depending on how difficult and time consuming it is to recover the vehicle. By the time we got it out, I expected the price to be close to the top end of that range, but they kept it close to the low end and didn’t try to screw me on price. You people who complain about price need to realize they have hundreds of thousands of dollars in equipment, expertise, and insurance to pay for, and they are there to help when no one else can. Jacob and Nick Crain were very professional and helped me out big time. I highly recommend these guys.
My truck went into d reg and Harry from HJ showed up with a spare tractor. He was friendly and had the spare truck ready for me in no time. The service was fast and he was extremely professional and a good guy to talk to. I would highly recommend Harry and HJ towing
I had a fuel leak under my engine Peterbilt 579. The amount of fuel i was leaking is outrageous. I could not see where it was leaking. I took my truck to HJ Towing. In less than 30 minutes. A tech went under my truck and was able to find the leak. I was surprised be cause the day before i took the truck to TA and the tech told me sorry he cannot see anything. HJ Towing ordered the parts. I got it fixed the next day. They found that i had a leak on my water pump and i was called by Mike and got it fixed. Alex at the front desk is amazing. She make me feel welcome and listen when she patiently wait for me to deal with the bank to pay the invoice. I had a great experience with the team. They have a friendly staff and respect is absolutely the best out of this place. We want more place like HJ Towing. Ps. They have a hotel next door that make very convenient for drivers with breakdowns. Thank you to HJ towing Staff. I did not feel alone the whole entire time i spent there
If you needs Towing or get yourself pulled out the ditch call HJ Towing & Recovery, they will come to you faster than Jesus would, pretty cool guys, Jacob and Harry were fast they got me out of the hole faster than I thought. Very reasonable price for East Coast thanks guys.
First Class service from Jacob and Turtle @ HJ recovery and towing. They secured every part of my Freightliner and towed my trailer with care. Never received this type of service from a towing company. The ride was smooth and the trucks super clean. I felt like a VIP. Keep up the great work !
