Absolutely my favorite place around. Although they should designate a spot to leave our mark as well. To place initials or art like so many have done in the past. Imagine if "the world to us" wasn't carved there. Just wouldn't be the same.
Wow, all I can say is wow. What an amazing place to explore. So many crevices, small caves and interesting things to look at. Definitely worth bringing the whole family to. The place is very clean and the trees are amazing. This is a photo opportunity like free others. I've been to other Rock formations like this, not none are as easy to reach. I'd definitely recommend this as a bucket list item to see in Pennsylvania.
Sour taste. Spent the whole day parked while my wife worked remotely. Caretaker thought I was up to no good so instead of talking to me, they called the game warden.
Was going to leave a large donation but left irritated instead.
Could be the best destination in Pennsylvania if it was more welcoming of travelers.
Cool. Worth the quick stop on a day of site seeing. I would not try this at night or with small children as there are deep valleys and no rescue ropes! But was very interesting and all by volunteers! Great work keep it up
They have come a long way adding things and fixing up the park! There is still some work to be done... cleanup and such... but overall a nice park. I didn't even realize yhey had camping there. Newer tent platforms. I wish the education center was open but it's volunteer ran and we were there on a Saturday evening so I get it. Had a nice time walking and climbing around!
This was a terrific place to spend a few hours. Not only do you get to see some most amazing geological features in the whole state of Pennsylvania, but also you get to get plenty of exercise and fresh air.
You will marvel and wonder how these formations could come to be and understand that it is very significant that you can be a part of such an incredible display of nature’s wonders. Go for at least two hours—five hours should allow a full day of discovery and the feeling you’ve conquered this location!
Bilgers is always a fun place to take the family, iv been coming here for 20+ years and i still find new spots and new rocks that I have never seen. If your lucky you can watch the local firefighters practice rock propelling when they're there, it's never crowded and just a really neat place that's "FREE" to explore.
We went in March and that may have been a mistake. The coldness of the rocks allowed the ice to stay longer. We've been here several times and absolutely love exploring and climbing! Be very careful bringing littles though, lots of ways to get seriously hurt.
We had a nice walk through the area. Saw the rock house that was built by Roland Welker. It was nice and cool today in the woods. No bears or deer were seen. Thanks to Greg for all the information he gave us!.
Nice, short walk through the woods to see some interesting rocks. It's on private land, but open to the public. There are donation boxes available to help with costs
Absolutely stunning! You can take as long here as you like- short hike or climb the rocks for hours! There's a beautiful little stream, lots of wildlife, beautiful views, some great big rocks, a little picnic area, and a VERY clean porta potty. We will absolutely be back!!

Incredible!!! This was a stop to break up a 12 hour drive. At first we were like, what did we just drive out here for? Couldn’t really see any rocks or trails upon arrival but after we wandered into the wood WOW! Such a wonderfully impressive hidden gem. My family loved this place so much. Pictures do not do it justice.
Beautiful as always for nature, Picnic and park area is well maintained. Bathrooms need updated..
The paths are a bit confusing and got lost. The rocks are really cool and there are so many different ways to explore! 8/10 would visit again to see more paths!
This place is beautiful and so many cool rock formations. You can go above and look down and then go explore the rocks from down below. Definitely will be back!!
Truly amazing rock formations. Large area to explore just be careful and enjoy. Cell signal good. Not far from highway easy to find. Amazing rock carving done by a local artist in 1921 a must see. Set your gps and go here now
Here is a really cool place if you happen to be in the Clearfield Punxsutawney Dubois area. Make sure you find this place and go check it out. Natural formation of rocks that have passageways big huge boulders and there’s even a cave called the ice cave. And there’s actually ice in the bottom of it in the dead of summer. Very neat place to have a picnic with your family. And it is a Pennsylvania state park.
It was a beautiful day when we were there and few people. It was a great place to walk around and explore. We then sat on top of a rock and listened to the birds. I imagine it can get busy there but we had a great experience
Definitely awesome to see. Reminds me of Jurassic Park. Would be best to go when it's not raining because the rocks are slippery. Nice picnic tables, a primitive toilet to use too.
Priceless American Historical Landmark!
This is a must go adventure! My teenagers loved it & definitely want to go again. It is privately owned & (free to attend) so we definitely donated to the donation boxes! We highly recommend ??? ...⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐&?????
These rock formations feel like this is one of Nature's Playgrounds. Fun to visit the rocks, but might be a bit unsatisfying for hikers if you don't use the surrounding trails or forest roads. Great place to visit for lunch. Apparently the park also hosts events like weddings, bands, and camping in advance once you get everything squared away with the main office.
Really neat place to explore❤️ A trail was marked and it was also on the map that was posted but I guess due to all the leaves on the ground we could not figure out where it was. Lots of crevices with steep drop offs that children could fall into so keep an eye on them if you bring them. Definitely colder amongst the rocks so bring a hoodie or a jacket or even gloves if you're taking pictures. Found a small hidden stream as well. There's picnic tables a pavilion playground for kids and fire pits.
Friendly and helpful staff at the Welcome Center. This is a great day trip! From the top you can look down through the fissures in the ground to the rocks below. Below is a labyrinth of exploring amongst the rocks. Really awesome! Well worth the trip!
The rocks themselves are really neat and fun to explore and climb on. The park has several port-a-johns and a public (most likely pit) toilet.
There is also a nice playground for children, picnic tables, and a food stand that was open and serving customers.
An awesome visit! Don’t have to hike very far to get to the rocks and they are fantastic to explore! Caution... the cracks can be deep! I found myself cautiously walking even when nowhere near the cracks. If your not a fan of heights I’d say explore the rocks below. There are trails throughout. Very well maintained as well.
