Buying my first vehicle here was a really smooth and pleasant experience. The staff worked with me every step of the way, kept me informed, they were patient and kind when I changed my mind to a different vehicle they had on the lot and made the whole process VERY easy.
A couple days after I purchased the car my check engine light came on, but they got me in right away and took care of the issue for free and with no hassle! I really appreciated how quickly they handled it and how patient and helpful everyone was!!! Highly recommended to buy a car from 🌟
I was very happy with my recent vehicle purchase from Smith’s. The whole process was very easy from start to finish. There was a radio issue with the car and they fixed it free of charge even though I didn’t purchase a warranty and signed an “as is” purchase agreement. I feel there is usually a negative stipulation towards used car dealerships but I certainly didn’t experience this with Smith’s. Very professional and friendly staff. I definitely would buy another car from them and would certainly recommend them!

This small, family-owned dealership - tucked away in rural PA - exemplifies the term "best-kept secret." This dealership has some incredible gems, and I was lucky enough to grab one.
My wife and I needed a 3-row vehicle for our growing family, and Smith's had a 2016 Ford Flex SEL with 46k miles at $15k. The car looked and ran as new - no rust, beautifully kept. It was an incredibly good deal for the car.
Establishing trust with a car dealer and mechanic is often a daunting task for me, and Smith's made me feel very at ease.

Overall a great experience and would love to leave a 5 star review, the only exception to being fully satisfied is I still do not have a key fob for my car. Bought a 22 Elantra March 3rd under the impression I could go to the other location to have it made. I was told they are out of stock and don't know when they would be back in. Now granted this review is being shortened and there were calls in place to both locations. I do understand that if this is the case and it may very well be. It is out of their hands and I do not place blame on the dealership. My only gripe is I can't lock my car and I have not received any updates to the situation. If someone would have checked in once or twice over the last couple months I would just leave the 5 stars with the happy review but I do not know where I stand on this currently. So to wrap this up. Great people, very friendly, and overall positive experience. I only feel slightly distaste for not being updated at any point. So I'll spend the extra money and go to the Hyundai dealership and get myself a couple key fobs done and be done with it. I would still do business here in the future. It's only a small issue just a big inconvenience. Thank you Smiths auto for everything it has so far been an excellent car and I love it :)
Absolutely love this place, and all the people in there making everything come together for the business to run as great as it does. Honestly, wouldn’t wanna do business elsewhere.. Smith’s auto sales is a very honest business in which they do everything they can to help you succeed and get into the vehicle you want. I’ve been a 3-peat customer and not once have I ever had a complaint. Very prompt service as well. Quality is outstanding, customer care is excellent, and very kind staff. Got a truck from them about a year Ago already traded it in for 2 reasons. Transmission was junk from day 1 wasn’t going the best job then the one fender was rusting already like how do you miss that ? Plus you ruined my spare tire thing also wasn’t too happy about that cause couldn’t get it out why not replace with original parts instead of destroying it.

I bought a 2018 Malibu a little over a month ago, first off, everyone at the Rimersburg and Clarion locations are extremely polite, friendly and very helpful. I never felt pressured and feel I got a very fair deal. They went over the vehicle with me, addressed my concerns and took care of them. I developed a problem with the one key and sent me to Rob in Clarion to try and re program it, when they could not they replaced it. Again I have to say all of them were professional, friendly and made you feel like a friend. I would and have recommended them to a friend and to anyone who asks.
I bought a Ram 2500 from Smiths Auto sales that I found online. I lived out of state, and Dustin was very helpful, showing additional pictures and videos. When I got to see the truck in person I think it looked even better then described. I drove it home 900 miles and it ran great! Had a very positive experience with Smiths Auto sales and would recommend them to anyone.

We bought a 2015 chevy tahoe off of smiths auto sales very friendly people and the buying experience was great. But this vehicle has so money issues they did not tell us about. The driver assist system in the vehicle needs repaired was quoted around $300.00 to fix already replaced starter $200.00 there is an issue with the trailer braking system and it keeps displaying error messages on the dash for both driver assist and Trailer braking was told vehicle had new brakes here I am today putting new rotors and pads on the rear. also had to replace rear air ride compressor $500.00 just to find out both rear shocks are leaking and they are $300.00 for each this vehicle should not have passed inspection with some of these issues. I guess I probably should have looked at things better when we went to take a look at it but they seemed like good honest people. Would not recommend buying a vehicle here. And I have not even put 1000 miles on this vehicle yet.
After getting stuck in the snow of my long driveway I decided I need an All Wheel Drive vehicle. After searching the web I found that Smith's Auto Sales had what I needed for the price I was looking for. I was very nervous buying a car long distance ( me in IL & the car I wanted was in PA), but Dustin was very helpful & talked me through the process of buying a car long distance. They gave me a good trade in for my Mazda. Everyone was very friendly & helpful when I got there and made the transition very smooth. Great car buying experience ! Bought a 2014 ram crew cab it’s in amazing condition and great price! Filled out an online application knowing I had some credit issues in the past got a phone call from Dustin within a few hrs said he had me approved for a loan sent all my information and paperwork via email that he needed ! Went to pick up the truck and sign papers was there no more than an hour! The staff is very friendly and amazing to deal with and very informative if you want a great car buying experience I highly recommend that u give smiths auto in Rimersburg/ clarion Pennsylvania a call these guys will definitely give you the best deal out there !
On Friday, my husband and I bought a Jeep off of Dustin Smith. He worked hard to get us a loan that worked with our budget. The garage looked over the jeep to make sure it was safe for us as the new owner. We got home with the jeep and realized there was 2 small cracks in my windshield and my glovebox handle was broke. We went back out this morning. Larry Smith told me when the windshield guy would be in and to come then and get it fixed, he also is ordering me a new piece for my glovebox and will call me when it is in. One of the best experiences we have had buying a car. Great job Dustin and Larry.
Buying from Smith’s auto was a great experience. They were really friendly and family oriented. They did a great job of making you feel comfortable with purchasing a new car which can often be a stressful thing to do. They were also fantastic with follow up and taking care of us as the costumer even after the purchase, making sure any issues were handled and resolved. I would definitely recommend in the future!

I purchased a Hummer H2 from Dustin and his team remotely (out of state). He went out of his way to take extra photos & email them, fully inspect the SUV, and help perform minor repairs/maintenance to be sure I was happy. I drove the H2 over 550 miles home with no issues. I would consider myself a detailed, informed, buyer, and Smith's Auto Sales pass my test and fully trust them to do what they say they will do. They are excellent!
