Camp Woodward is our happy place. It’s not just for super skilled kiddos either. My children went their first time as true beginners, and have so much fun that they save up again each year.

One of the top notch facilities like it in the country. From the top management down to the staff everyone is very helpful and considerate of each child's need. Great camp for children of all ages who like to stay active and busy! The kids always want to come back it never disappoints! Best decision ever!

As someone who was a camper for many years, as recently as 2 years ago I would say DO NOT send your kids here. One year a counselor was showing kids in my cabin a video of a man ending his life… That same year during my next week I witnessed my counselor vaping and smoking weed from a cartridge. Not to mention how incredibly easy it is to access drugs at this camp. Around 50% of campers over the age of 13 are smoking or are exposed to smoking and drinking here. There is also absolutely 0 adult supervision and your child can literally do whatever they without the counselors or anybody doing anything, resulting in kids sneaking out from the camp and going to harass amish people and other bad behavior.

some summer camp notes: campers’ phones will be taken from 11pm to 12pm the next day monday through friday, most cabins will have very limited bedding after around 12:30pm on sundays, cabins have no wifi, cabins have limited outlets, cabin showers can become very dirty and smelly and some showers can have very poor water pressure some recommendations: bring outdoor portable chair(s), bring fan for sleeping, bring external battery charger, bring shower shoes, bring odor eliminator like febreeze, bring something to act as curtains for your bunk if you want privacy and you are not on the top bunk, bring extra phone or ipad or laptop or gopro or camera, listen to your cabin counselor

Woodward seems to be a beautiful, peaceful and relaxing environment. However, not for younger kids. If your child need support they will not receive it. The staff is unable to tend to the needs of children as they may need more assurance, attention and direction. I have had a different experience with teenage kids in the past. Additionally, the phones are constantly used. They crate an unsafe environment and mids may be exposed to images and other ideas that parents may not want or have tirelessly otherwise prevented. Finally, if you do speak with staff they do not follow through and do not call when they promise. I would only recommend this camp to those who need little to no support and parents who are the same.

This camp is wonderful. Having 17 skate parks in one place is an amazing opportunity for everyone that attends. Ms.Lisa Thompson the GM was wonderful. She managed the family camp week for us and went out of her way to make sure all the families were taken care of. The opportunities to help out at camp are also great for parents. We hope they do family camp again next year as we would love to come back. Also I wanted to thank Staff Member Josh who was in charge of my sons skate group. He did an awesome job with the kids in their instruction sessions. Thank you Josh! Thank you all again. We appreciate you!

Absolute nightmare dealing with Woodward. My family isn’t super privileged, Woodward gave us a scholarship but failed to mention it would only be applicable to camps that cost $1000+ dollars even WITH THIER “generous” scholarship. Please, if you don’t have thousands of dollars dont plan on sending your kid. They kept my money and I’m out about $400 in skating gear. They refused to make it work for the child, and was completely rude on the phone when the issue rose. I’ve had the tough decision and had to break my little girls heart this summer, and tell her all the dreams we had were put to rest at the cost of Woodward.

Best summer camp ever! Welcoming staff and campers. My son lives for this place!

Roofs were leaking in indoor parks when we were present but the park itself is amazing and the staff are nice and informative. Highly recommend for a open ride to get your child over fear of being sent off for a week makes for a smoother week's stay at camp . 5stars

Just spent the Holiday weekend at Woodward PA. It was family camp weekend, where my son and I joined 5 other random families in one of the bunk dorms. One of the best weekends of my life, was an unforgettable experience, complete action packed, where my face hurt from smiling the whole time I was there! It took about 10 mins for my very shy 7 year old to mix with a group of other kids and take off on his scooter, where he spent the next 48 hours cruising around the whole camp. Everything about the place was amazing, the skate parks, the parkour set up, trampolines, absolutely everything. We enjoyed the bunk, despite some snoring :), as helped us mix with other families and share the whole experience. We now have a group chat to try and meet up again in the future, as people travelled as far from Atlanta and Toronto to come to this amazing place. I brought my BMX and scooter, along with my sons. I rode all the parks and enjoyed hitting some of the foam pits, after never really riding them before. The food was amazing, always fresh and lots of choice, the staff from chef Brian, to the instructors were all super friendly and knowledgeable. The whole experience from arrival to leaving was memorable, if you are reading this and have kids, I would send them to the summer camp, as they will have the best time and worth every single penny. My son will be back ! (some snapshot photos, as took over 80 in the 2 days)

I went there for a couple weeks. I enjoyed myself. I learned a lot as a young man it’s good to have in the community for sure. Definitely a Great Place to take your sport farther & faster than others. The staff was friendly and helpful. The facilities are second to none. ??

My son stayed for a week of Camp. He was very insecure for the 1st couple of days, I had to contact the camp to tell them what was going on, and ask them to reach out to him, I shouldn't have had to do that from 1000 miles away, they're right there with him and should know he isn't participating. After a little help he was fine. I was disappointed (as was he) that he wasn't allowed to try out other areas of the park, he had to stick to JUST his camp area. He wanted to try out the Par Core and is actively in Gymnastics and would have loved to experience the gym for a few hours. For the high cost of the camp, I was definitely let down. I wouldn't recommend personally, nor would I choose to send my son again.

? only: Since I first saw it in skate videos in the 1990s, wanted nothing more than to go and skate Woodward. Well, 30 years later my kid goes and has the time.of her life. Sweet! Great counselors, obviously amazing parks, just phantastic. The pros were super approachable and helpful too and her skill level and confidence went way up. What a blast! ?The only feedback for improvement... Please do something about the food situation. Get some fresh stuff there for the young athletes not just fruit loops and burgers. My kid totally had to detox and most returning kids brought their own food supply knowing how there wasn't going to be a fruit or salad in sight.

SUPER PRICEY! My son loves to skate so I worked a parttime job for 8 months to come up with the money! My son said it was worth it! He enjoyed every moment at camp!

If your child is an avid gymnast, skateboarder, BMX rider, or pro scooter rider, Woodward Camp in Pennsylvania will be a perfect summer camp experience. The staff is enthusiastic and you can tell they want to be there, working with the kids. Sleeping accommodations are very rustic and spartan so don't expect anything fancy. The facilities for all the sports, however, are state-of-the-art. The camp also has other offerings and other campuses. Their website will have all the information.

Went to the BMXperience and it was AMAZING. Pros and regular riders just shredding that place. The setups are great for everyone form beginners to experts. Will definitely be going back.

Sick parks and trails, only wish it’s be open to the public more often just for a day or a few hours (where you don’t have to reserve a cabin and all for a few days). Other then that though it’s the absolute dream.Probably best skatepark complex on the east coast and one of the best in the country for sure.

Simply the best place to learn and improve! Incredible job by Camp Woodward for keeping this facility at the top of the extreme sports venues. Can't wait to be back ???

My son went here last year for a week. He loved it. He loved it so much he wanted to come all summer long. However, that would be quite expensive we just dropped him off for a three week stent. He is ecstatic. He’s going there for BMX. One of the great things about this camp is they have ex Olympians in the sports come and help coach and teach. My girls that are much older went to this camp many years ago for gymnastics they too loved this camp and have many fond memories. One area that they could do better is evening activities. Make it a little bit more camp like with community bonfire or something. They also need to have the cafeteria open for an evening snack. They only have it open for breakfast lunch and dinner. Especially for the younger kids they need a snack before bed. Most people eat after 5 o’clock.

My daughter attended camp here for her first away camp and first cheer camp experiance and loved it!! She was awarded camper of the week got to interact with famous cheer athletes and got to use state of the art equipment she would have never had a chance to encounter. For all these reasons I am soo greatful and pleased with this establishment. The reason i gave a 4 star and not a 5 is as follows: my camper hurt her knee there and as a RN I was less than thrilled with the fact that the trainers didnt seem to treat it effectively I had to call the camp and my child and inform them of what to do. They gave out oppertunities for 50% discounts and my daughter recieved one but they are only for that current summer at the end of the summer. When you have to travel and pick up your child it is crazy to think that for 50%(wich is still over $600) you could turn right around in a few weeks and do it all over again. It would be nice to be able to use it for the next summer. Also my daughter didnt really care for the cafe food and she really never got to eat lunch because it was always during her mandatory training time (she basically spent her spending money on the chicken tenders which she said was amazing). Lastley she was not to thrilled that some of the famous cheersleaders were less than friendly although the campers were encouraged to mingle and interact with them. Other than that it was a great experiance for her and she cant wait to return!!!

This is the first year my daughter attended Cheer camp at Woodward, PA. She had an absolute amazing time! She enjoyed EVERYTHING about it. She can’t wait to come back. She wanted to do another week this summer! This will definitely be a yearly camp for her!

My daughter had a blast here. Said she felt more "grown up" here because she got to do things on her own like goto breakfast. Seems well put together. Too bad it's so remote, but maybe that's a good thing.
