Roan's Body shop saved me abut $7000. I tried to get my car repaired elsewhere. They all said $10,000 for a complete like new repair, but the car was not worth that. A tried Roan's and I said I just wanted it to pass inspection. One week later it was repaired for $1500 and it actually did not look bad. Thank you all so much !!
I have used their services a few times. Their prices are very reasonable, and they do a very good job. The owner is polite and easy to work with. I would highly recommend them.
I had to get the front end of my car repaired and the electronic system had to get fixed as well. My uncle recommended I go to Roan's Body Shop since they specialize in auto repair. Needless to say that the repair took a month, due to the significant damage that my SUV had sustained.
But when I did get my car back, it looked brand new. Like nothing happened to it. I was so pleased and happy with the work that was done. I was also told that the rear of my SUV had to get realigned. I do not know why; I guess the other company where I had taken it before missed it somehow. I would highly recommend Roan's Body Shop over other repair places.

I took my BMW to them to change oil because my friend recommended them. BMW filter caps have plastic inserts that are important for the oil system to function properly. Clearly they forgot to put that insert back in or simply threw it away out of negligence. The car started showing a "drivetrain malfunction" warning. I took the car back to them but they had no clue. The dealer immediately identified the problem, it cost me 150$ to replace the filter cap and the problem was solved. When I called the owner of the place (Kevin) he dismissed my concerns by saying that the insert "probably wasn't there to start with" and that "they don't throw stuff away". It's clearly not true because I have only been changing oil at the dealership before and there was no problem before I took the car to Roan's. The dealership actually immediately identified the problem (they said it happens often with unprofessional mechanics). Most likely the guy who did the job was clueless about BMW oil filters and Kevin or whoever his supervisor was didn't care to check. I learned my lesson well - when you try to save by taking the car to an unprofessional mechanic, it's going to cost you more. Stay away from this place at all cost! Also immediately after you enter, you sense something is not right - the customer area probably has never been cleaned and is full of some dirty stuff.
I was asked to bring my car in on a Thursday morning so I went here to get a rattle in my car checked out. While I was in the middle of describing the issue to the tech, his boss drove up and interrupted us to talk about something else.
I was mid sentence and the mechanic walked away. He went into the office to keep talking to his boss. After 5 minutes of waiting outside, I walked in and asked "is now not a good time?". The tech replied with "yeah we're really busy today and tomorrow, then we're closed over the weekend and Monday, but bring it back in Tuesday "
Unbelievably bad customer service. I can't speak to the quality of repairs, so I won't give 1 star, but I have never received such poor customer service at a mechanic.

I got my oil change, rail reattached, and brake fluid change for just $36. I also got my caliber reinstalled do to a lickeage for $340 including the price of the part.
My daughter is a student at Penn State, her tail light got damaged and I needed to have it repaired. I called Kevin Roan on Monday morning to ask if this was something they could do. He said yes and to have my daughter come over that day for an estimate. Their shop is 1.5 miles from Penn State so she drove over on Monday. He quoted her 20 minutes for the repair and said he could order the light that day and fix on Wednesday. The part came in when he said and she went over and he fixed while she was waiting and only charged the cost of part and 20 minutes labor. My daughter said they were REALLY nice and took great care of her. If ANYONE needs auto service for their Penn State student I Highly recommend Kevin and his team
I appreciate Roan's business fixing my car. Due to roadkill on a highway, my car needed new cooling and AC system. Along with the mechanical jobs, they restored the vehicle's exterior as if it were new. I received an impression that they would do their best to fix the car and return it as soon as possible. If there is a delay, it is probably due to other factors they cannot control.
I was looking at a 2004 Honda Civic Si from Avarie Autosports, and decided to get a pre-purchase inspection before negotiating with the salesman. When we brought it to Roan's they said it would be $20 to do the inspection, but as soon as they lifted it, they saw it was essentially scrap due to the rust situation under the car. They were very straightforward, and said it both wasn't road worthy, and that whoever last inspected it shouldn't have a license. They only charged me $10 instead of $20.

The staff is friendly and the finished work is great and prompt. Plus, the price is quite reasonable compared to others. Highly recommended if you have some small body issues on the car.
To make a long story short: Roan's did a difficult repair on my car for a very reasonable price, and I did not have to wait long.
My car needed some repairs to the frame where it was badly rusted, and I had a lot of trouble finding a mechanic or body shop that does this type of repair. I found several shops that did this type of work in the past but not anymore.
I called Roan's and they told me to bring the car there any time that same day. When I brought the car over, he looked at it immediately, gave me a price quote, and said that he could do the work three days later. It took only five minutes.
I dropped the car off three days later and they finished it exactly when they had said it would be ready. They did an excellent job at a reasonable price and I am very pleased. The staff was friendly and courteous and I would highly recommend them.
The mechanic that did the state inspection confirmed that the work was done well and gave the car a new sticker. Thank you Roan's for getting my car back on the road!
I recently had the rocker panel replaced on my Fusion because of rust. I was recommended to this shop and I am extremely happy with the work. It looks brand new and almost perfect. It did take a while for the part I need replaced to come in but that was an issue with the shipping company. Once the part came in it took them the precise amount of time that I was quoted and more importantly it costed the exact amount I was quoted. I will go back there in the future if I need more body work done.
Been fix my old bmw there! They got work done so quickly even under this pandemic period. Definitely going back to this place If I have to fix something else. Wish I knew this place earlier!
Roan’s Body shop is THE place to get your car repaired!!! I was recently hit by a big garbage truck while I was sitting at a red light, in icy conditions. I drive a little VW beetle, so a big hit from a truck going fast while I was sitting still did a lot of damage. My car was wrecked, and after looking at the reviews, I decided to take it to Roan’s to get fixed. They have an amazing work ethic- he worked around my schedule to fix the car, and did not finish his work with my car until I was sure that it drove just right, and until I felt comfortable with it (which truly says a lot about their business), and he completely fixed my car in less than 3 weeks.... this was amazing, considering how much damage was done. It looks brand new, and I could not be happier to have chosen Roans to fix my bug!!!
My family has been taking our vehicles to Roan’s Body Shop for over 20 years. I’ve been taking my vehicles there since I was 16. Being a young and inexperienced driver I ended up in two accidents in two different vehicles. Russell helped me to navigate the adjustment process then did two stellar repairs in a turnaround time second to none. The one accident required to have the entire front end of the car replaced and it was ready to go from accident to beach vacation in 4 days. Russell and Kevin do excellent work at an affordable rate and are honest and efficient. I’ve never felt mislead or taken advantage of. This is the only garage my cars will ever go to. Best body shop in central Pennsylvania.
This small family business does great work promptly. After I hit a deer with my 2018 Chevy Volt, Stocker Chevrolet (where I'd bought the car) said they couldn't start the repairs until February 1. But Roan's got the car looking and driving like new by December 20.
This body shop deserves a 5/5. I went through 10 different body shops when my car broke down in PA. Thankfully I found this body shop on google and the guys here got me in so quickly and gave me the best price and service. It was quick and affordable, and the service was outstanding. Thank you!
My Subaru Impreza had a lot of rust damage. Roan's was recommended for rust repair. It took four weeks, which wasn't an issue since it was summer, since parts had to be fabricated. The finished work looks great and the price was good. They don't have a fancy waiting room and receptionist, they're all about doing the work right.
These guys my be the only place in town that will fix rust and do custom repair work. i had a fleet of custom trucks that needed rebuilt box supports, Kevin and his team made new parts from scratch, other than mining the raw materials i mean!
I had some rust on my rear quarter panel of my car and I came to Roan's because of their cheaper prices. I wasn't expecting the outcome to look as good as it did. When I got the car back it looked brand new in the spot that needed to be fixed, paint matched perfect and rust was gone. Took a little longer then expected but well worth the money.
I found good reviews about how low their pricing are so I gave them a call.
The guy who responded to my call seemed to be a bit disrespectful, probably when he knew I am a foreigner "foreign ethnicity".
He just replied with "no I can't do that", and when I asked why he said "I'm not interested".
I'm not sure if he's just that dry and its his nature but I felt offended to be honest.
Very honest man I met there. He helped me fix my brake light with less time than smoke a cigarette. And very honest price here, I got a quote from another shop charging me around 70 bucks while here only several bucks, bare enough to buy a new bulb. I would definitely go back next time, very nice shop!
Wow. Visited on Monday to make appt. Dropped car off early Tues morning, picked it up that same afternoon. Two repairs done that we'd put off for months (bumper, sun roof). And the cost? Remarkably low. Russell was no-nonsense and efficient. <> Five stars <>
Never go to them. These guys are thieves, yes, exactly! They said the job would cost 200$ and billed for 500$, didn't even call or tell about. And later argued that they had said 500$. Very sad. The work was pathetic, my car had more problems after coming out of this shop than before. Never go here..NEVER EVER Would have given them -5 star if there would have been. # yes i am pissed at them
