My trash does not always get picked up. There have been a few weeks that this has happened. Please tell me why?

Live in rural area as a result must set out cans same morning , because of animal activity . WM informed us that collection would be @ 06:00 promptly ; only happened a few weeks and then collection times became erratic . Very inconvenient to move trash that early if not necessary , especially with low light conditions in winter ; and for elderly customers. Asked if we would support recycling collection from Waste Management - local government already collecting - why pay additional fee for a tax supported service - nice gig if you can get it . Do we get a tax refund and from whom if WM takes over recycling ? They already have a monopoly bc local government required citizens to use only WM . What is government thinking, driving out competition that keeps pricing affordable , they like the uniform look of the containers ? Does local government no longer believe in freedom and or freedom of choice . State your name for channel 7 - sorry I do not answer to local television, ashamed you do . Maybe the college educated should stick to running HOA’s in their gated communities . Government was created by citizens to help citizens succeed , citizens do not exist to serve government . Should be engraved on all government buildings especially college township .

I had a problem trying to replace a lost recycle bin. I used a cardboard box at least 3 times with a note on it that I need a bin. I called our management group who said they would contact you. I got a replacement when a neighbor asked the service men.

As a single person in a home, I really appreciate you having the smaller 35 gallon service available. I don't create much trash week to week and I don't think anyone else offers this affordable option.

Just disappointed with the way the guys sometimes just throw the receptacles after they’ve been emptied. Happened to be looking out the window when one guy heaved the recycle bin up on the curb.

I've been a WM customer since 2012. In March of 2025 I received a letter stating that my route would be utilizing trash bins provided by WM and the letter went on to describe all the ways that WM would financially punish me if I had too much trash or put the wrong item in the trash or did this or that plus charge $75 to remove the bin if I discontinued service. Well, that letter coupled with the endless yearly price increases made me decide to terminate my service effective end of March and guess what? On or about April 2nd, a WM trash bin showed up at the end of my driveway. I'm not a customer. I've made several calls to have this large green behemoth picked up, but it never is. It is now May 20, and I don't know what to do with it. p.s. my new trash service is $250/yr cheaper and once a week, my garbage disappears just like it did with WM, but they are not picky about it.

This company does not care about their customers. We have had multiple missed pick ups and multiple instances of them lying. The web portal will report that the trash was picked up but in reality it was not picked up. In the last month we had three missed pick ups. This creates a huge sanitary issue, as trash builds and builds. But once again the company does not care about their customers. We even had an instance where they were not picking up our trash because they changed our pick up date and didn't tell us. Once they "fixed" the issue and told us the correct day, they still missed our pick up. They make too many excuses on why they are not picking up the trash. And like others have said try to call them is at times a struggle and frustrating - especially when they tell you that what you see on the web Portal is not the same thing they see. I was on the phone and asked them a question an what I saw and they just said "I can't see that so I can't help you." Last thing I will say is that if you want to file a complaint for how you were treated it is difficult to do so because they say they will file a complaint on your behalf but they won't actually file it. They don't have a process to hear the voices and experiences of their employees.

Paid the extra to have the cans returned to their proper place and they never do it. Not that I'm happy with the bureaucracy of the Township dictating what company we have to use, but at the least it will not be Waste Management anymore. We don't anticipate any savings or better service due to the leftists who have eradicated our liberty and right to choose a refuse provider.

We recently moved here from NJ. I have lived in Philadelphia and NJ . The trash and recycling pick up here is quite unique . Every single trash day many items of recycling is left laying in the bottom of the can . I check the items and they are labelled recycling. My trash cans are thrown in the middle of the street or one house down . It is extremely frustrating and I hear this frequently . Very disappointing .

Expensive and does not always come to get my trash or recycling. I have never hated a service company as much as Wasted Management. There is too much to fully describe here

A basic aspect of running the business is telling your customer what their service is. All I know is that you pick up trash and recycling. I have no information beyond that. So when the collector leaves garbage and doesn’t take it, I have no idea what I did wrong, and have to store it for another week. Requesting an extra pickup resulted in nothing happening. I tried to call many times, and can never get through, which has to be by design. The app and website are of no help. Please start answering the phones, and improve your app. I’ve contemplated lodging a complaint with the township.

Waste management services is a great company to use for our community. There is an ease of use, affordability with great customer services. There’s always a friendly person on the other side of the phone when you call I give them a high rating because of my ability to depend on their services each time I’ve called with any question or concern. Yes I recommend this company

Waste Management meets all my waste disposal needs. They are always dependable and timely each week. If there is a holiday or if there is going to be a delay, I always receive notifications. I absolutely love their Spring and Fall pick up! This not only helps keep unsightly excess in and around our homes but, they certainly help to keep our communities more beautiful. Thank you Waste Management for all you do for us and our communities! Kathleen

Prompt Reliable Service! An Email reminder that pick-up will be delayed because of a Holiday is a nice touch! They come at the same time every week, so there is no guessing when I need to have your trash out.

Reliable service, prompt service alerts, and doesn't nickel-and-dime me for a few extra bags or extra bulk collection a few times a year. I'm really going to miss this near-perfect service when my township (by order of the county regional government) switches to a new garbage collection service provider next year. I really wish they'd keep WM! We've had no issues and good pricing.

Always great service. Your workers are very polite. Always leave my can where I placed it, if real windy or raining, they place it on it's side so it doesn't roll away.

Most staffs are nice and professional. But the backend customer service need improvement. Some worker dumped our dumpster's cover month ago. We complained it, but never get a response.

Laziest of workers. I had 20 trash bags outside because im moving and ONE bag that had hangers inside that wasn’t in a garbage bag. I realise now they couldn’t take that bag so I would understand if they left it, but they left every single trash bag outside my house instead of taking everything but the hangers. I’m moving out so the trash WILL sit there as many weeks as it takes for you to do your job and pick it up.

So easy and convenient to set up my account and pay for services all online. They kept me informed regarding my services. They provide different payment options and with this being my first time using a company like this for garbage removal, it worked out perfectly to just pay for a month to see what WM was all about. And most importantly to me, the prices, i think are very fair and less than I was expecting to pay. Overall highly recommend!

No garbage pickup 2 weeks in a row. We called customer service, after 6 phone calls, no call backs and over 35 minute wait time, we finally spoke to a person. However, all we got were excuses and half baked ideas. We have left our garbage in the same place for pickup for 10 years. We always pay our bill on time. Waste Management service is an absolute disgrace.

The service is excellent. The timing of pickup for trash and recycling is predictable each week. When there are any changes to the schedule, WM emails adequate notice. Personnel are polite and accommodating. I have no complaints.

The guys who pick up my trash are very respectful of my property. They put the trash can back where they find it which is important to me as I unload from my Tahoe in that area. I am in a w/c and there is not a lot of space where I get out. Thank you WM!

Every time they take my trash they leave my dumpster knocked over and laying in the street. This is dangerous to drivers and completely unprofessional. I contacted WM and told them about the situation and since then it has been corrected and no problems for weeks now. I give 4 out of 5 stars bc service is consistent and they communicate immediately if there is any scheduling delays. Good company.

My family and I have been with Advanced Disposal for many years. We are very pleased with the service. We are kept well informed of any schedule changes due to holidays. When we moved into our new house customer service was very friendly and made the switch pain free. We've also rented a couple of dumpsters. They were always on time with delivery and pick up. Thank you for a job well done and keep up the good work.

I have used Advanced Disposal for many years and have been very happy with their service. For a time I was a call-in customer and had only one or two bags picked up once or twice a month. I have changed to be a weekly customer and no longer need to call in. I'm usually not home when the trash is picked up, but I have had occasion to talk with the drivers. They provide courteous service and I am very happy.
