Police had my father-in-law’s vehicle towed to Munroe Auto Body after an accident without asking his preference. When insurance (State Farm) attempted to retrieve the car, we were presented with charges far beyond what insurance considers reasonable, including:
• $350 winch fee (insurance allows $100)
• $125 fuel surcharge (not covered)
• $750 flatbed tow
• $525 administrative fee (insurance allows $150)
• $275 cleanup fee
• $125 per day in storage fees piling up while release was being arranged
Instead of working toward a reasonable solution, the owner, Tom, was condescending and dismissive, even mocking our insurance company as “Scam Farm” and implying the situation was our fault.
Accidents are stressful enough without feeling financially cornered afterward. This experience felt less about helping customers and more about maximizing charges while families are under pressure. I strongly recommend making sure you control where your vehicle is towed if you have any choice.
I took my vehicle to Munroe to have it repaired after a tree landed on my roof. The damage was to the roof and the trunk. Tom set up a time that was convenient for me to drop the vehicle off for repairs. The car was repaired before the estimated time to have it done. When I picked up the vehicle I was really impressed with the work that was performed and how the vehicle was detailed. I highly recommend Munroe.
I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Munroe Auto Body. From start to finish, the service was truly exceptional. The body work on my vehicle was excellent; my car looks absolutely immaculate, like the accident never even happened.

Tom at Munroe Auto Body is a literal angel on earth. We (my family) have always used Munroe due to the high quality of service and repairs. Recently I was involved in a fender bender. The other party was liable and had Liberty Mutual Insurance. Munroe had a very hard time getting in touch with them for supplementals. For the last supplement they paid only small amount of the cost. It ended up being a calculation error on their end that they had to be hounded to acknowledge. Tom really worked hard to get the issue settled, he was kind and helpful and I feel he went out of his way to ensure my car was back to me as soon as possible. We always recommend Munroe Auto Body to anybody, but I wanted to give Tom a shout out for how much he helped me! I appreciate it more than you know!

My insurance agent (Travelers) spoke with the owner about having the hood and grill replaced/painted plus 4 fenders repainted. He requested a rough estimate for pre-approval before dropping off the vehicle. The owner stated that he was not interested and hung up. Apparently, he did not provide a reason. I'm not able to comment regarding the quality but the customer service needs improvement.
Very unprofessional. I came in for my appointment on time, waited 20 minutes only to find out they failed to order needed part. They set up a new appointment, a week after the part should arrive. I arrive at my appointment on time. After waiting 15 minutes they let me know it hasn't come in yet. I asked them why they didn't call me. Their response? We didn't think of it. At this point I an so glad I didn't let these people touch my car, and never will.
Tow truck driver wouldn’t take our car to where we wanted it towed, so backed us into getting work done at their shop so we could get a discounted tow. They did a quick job that didn’t actually fix the problem, and when we brought it back added additional work that needed to be done (that should have been easy to catch the first time). Their quote with a discount was the same price as the quote from our normal mechanic so clearly too expensive.
Popped out a softball dent on the front ridge of my black truck roof, body work, and painted. Looks mint and back to factory condition. Spent a little more than other shops could have done it but I paid for quality and a full roof paint vs blending existing paint.
Extremely happy how they fixed my car. The paint matches perfectly, even fix a few extra dings.. would totally recommend car repair here..Very friendly and great customer service
If you are looking for a garage to paint or do body work on ur vehicle, Look no further.. This garage is wonderful to work with very professional and personable. The quality of work is out of this world, you will not be disappointed. Top notch work and service.
These guys are seriously great. Incredibly communicative and will absolutely take care of your car. I had taken my car to two other shops and paid $100’s of dollars even though neither shop was able to fix the issue in my car. Tom was able to track down the problem and made sure to stay in touch with me the whole time to make sure I knew what was going on. I will be taking my Cars here from here on out and recommending others do the same.
Just got my Google account set up today and I wanted to give my first review. Monroe did work for my car that an elderly relative drove. They were very kind and helpful to her and did flawless body work.
High quality with no nonsense. They cut out all the other bullshit the chain stores give you. If you need it right the first time and have no tolerance for run-around, Terry is the right guy to talk to.
