Love this place. I think the scrap price is fair and it’s so easy here. Anna is top notch. I love how friendly she is and treats customers like friends. I only go to Krill’s for the hospitality and how clean of a production they run.
I take scrap there almost every week. Carl responds quickly and arranges everything when I need them to haul things that are too big for me to haul. The girl in the office that runs the scales is great at her job and is very helpful and friendly to deal with.
My names ryan and Chad is usually the one who takes care of me and they ARE THE BEST. Not only so they give the best prices around pittsburgh and butler but they will nudge you over if you become a regular and need a half pound or such. I used to go to bobs but, compared krills, KRILLS CANNOT BE BEAT! They are the champs for sure. Lifelone customer always.

The shop worker was very rude. Their scales are off or they purposely change the weight. I weighed copper before I went in and when I got to the office to get my money the slip said it was 22 lbs lighter than it should have been. I weighed it on 2 different scales before I went in so I know. I will not be going there again and I advise anyone else to be careful. Scrap is up so if you go make sure you know what it weighs cause they are gonna do it as long as they can I’m sure as long as their are no complaints so I’m making one.

Let me start by saying this scrap yard in the past has been fair and helpful. However, the past two times I’ve went here the guy in the garage has been rude and condescending. The first time I brought some converters and he said it wasn’t worth their time. This past time I brought some tin, aluminum: cans, dirty, and insulated wire, #2 copper, steel unprepared and prepared. I dropped the tin first as I usually do and asked the guy out there if the steel I had was unprepared or prepared. He said most likely either prepared or pay as electric motor as it was a torn down electric motor. I figured great either way is more than a regular unprepared price. So I got reweighed and went to the garage, not only did they pay the steel as tin but they also didn’t pay me at all on the copper tubing or aluminum insulated wire and dirty aluminum. If I had to guess they probably paid that as tin as well from what I could gather on the receipt. Unfortunately I can’t say I’ll be back for anything other than aluminum cans, even if I get paid less somewhere else at least I’ll get paid and not have my materials stolen.
Pretty fine scrap yard. Clean, people are always nice. Good prices. I pass a scrap yard and take my things down here. Made out like a bandit when s.a. in slippery rock tried to rob me.
I just found these folks recently. I am very happy with their prices and the people are extremely nice. Unlike some other Scrap Yard‘s that I’ve gone to which are much closer to me. It is worth the drive.
I sent my son in to scrap my box of copper and I had a cooper water pole I had it weighted days before I took it in so I would have a ruff idea needless to say my son stood there and the pole never left the ground where he laid it and I am off way to much this had happened to me personally before so I figured I would send my son but NO they did AGAIN. SO I THINK THIS NEEDS REPORT IM DONE BEING RIPPED OFF!!! I called them but of course no answer on a Saturday!!!!!!
Great scrapyard, do not have to worry about getting flat tires driving thru there yard and they have the best prices around,I don't even think of going anywhere else! Great friendly ,helpful and knowledgeable .
Its a good scarp yard. I have just had a bad experience before scarping a truck it had all 4 good tires and was taking the tires back with me and they Stabbed one of the tires with a when they where lifting it to take the tires off and the owner would not replace the tire that they damaged even when I had proof that the tires where not damaged before they got there
Called about a price for a trailer husband called person taken trailer to them called. We all got same answer until person went there! Don't go there are honest businesses out there. This is not one of them!
Unassuming spot, but they offer much better prices than any other scrap yards I've used. Call ahead around holidays, they sometimes do short shut downs for them.
Got off work late, slow traffic on my way there and I showed up after they were closed, and they STILL bought my scrap!! Best service at any scrap yard/recycler I've ever been to! Definitely the place to go if you're looking to sell your scrap metal!! Super friendly too!! I would recommend them to everyone

Needed an old truck picked up. Called and had everything set up for quick, hassle free service. Everyone involved was very knowledgeable and nice to work with. I 100% recommend!
Very nice folk. Issue was corrected however watch the weight of the material you bring in.
The scale when it first started up regisetered -1lbs and if I didnt say anything that's what i would have been weighed at.
It took 15 minutes to reset the scale to get it zeroed.
I will return but I will be weighing my material prior.
