I was looking to get a new rim and tire for my mazda but the junkyard I used to go to closed down. I gave this place a call to ask a few questions before stopping by and they were very friendly and accomodating. The junkyard is also pretty big with lots of cars. My only issue is that they charge you a fee just to walk into the junkyard and look around. It's only $2 but it doesn't say anything about it on their website and if you pay the fee and they don't even have what your looking for then you basically just wasted money for nothing. I understand these places need to make money but thats kind of a weird business practice. Imagine if walmart or amazon charged you a fee just to look at what products they have? If you don't mind paying the fee I'm sure this place is great. It just wasn't for me.
This is solely about customer service. When I called, I didn't have to go there because they didn't have my car, but I sure as hell want to! Best customer service ever! She was dealing with a customer and didn't forget me at all. She kept apologizing, and she definitely didn't need to—I am one of those people who understand! I can't wait to visit your yard! (Mercedes 2003 clk 430) And just wanted to add we have two rescue pits Luna three legged dog and her bigger and way STRONGER brother Apollo!!
Going to this place is an experience! Think thrift shopping but for car parts, and the ground is made of gravel and you have to undress the mannequin yourself.
While I didn't find the part I was looking for, the opportunity to go through a bunch of cars, both new and vintage, to check out what I could use was worth the trip up there. The staff here are kind and as a plus they sell cold water which you'll need as you get your steps in.
Just spoke to Michelle, they didn’t have what I needed but she’s an amazing help, I wish they did because dealing with the junkyards near me is a pain because they absolutely have no idea what they’re taking about. But Michelle actively listens and tries her best to help. Approach matters a lot to me and I hope to do business with them in the future just based on the way they conduct business on the phone, they’re great to work with!

I went in today after a 14 year hiatus. Still the friendliest place to go and I’m so so happy I went. The gentlemen that helped me today was the nicest, and I’ll continue my addiction of going once a week while I’m working in the area
Michelle and her sister Kim both took care of my transaction in a professional, efficient, and friendly manner. Just in talking with them on the phone I was confident that they knew their business and that they would take care of all the paper work without me having to worry if it was done properly. I had to junk a car and a trailer which I thought was going to be a hassle but Michele and Kim made it very easy. Their tow truck driver from A and J towing named Joe made the pickup go very smoothly. Joe was very experienced and very personable. I definitely would recommend Junkyard Barbie to my friends and would use them again if I needed their services.
I belong to the Pontiac Oakland club. We did a "junkyard" tour here a few years ago. Barb (Michele) couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. Great place to shop used parts.
I have been doing business with JYB since 2014. She the best and is truly a funny girl/business owner. I always sell my old vehicles or families old vehicles to her and always my first go to for parts.
Best junkyard I've dealt with. Super friendly staff and always have what I need. 5 on every visit. Prices are reasonable. Junkyard Barbie is my go to spot for everything now.
If you need Jeep parts, especially older. This is is a top notch yard for everything Jeep. Squared away my XJ on multiple parts and my daily driver's.
I can't recommend this yard enough.
I recently bought a pretty clean 95 YJ from a friend of mine. It only needs a few little odds and ends. Michelle is awesome, down to earth, says it like it is, and no BS! She showed me around her jeep area and said to make a list. The prices were more than fair. I’ll definitely be back.
Added bonus points for her involvement in advocating for animal rescues and adoption.

It is an absolute blessing not only for myself but for my current profession as well being an auto shop teacher. One of the best junkyards around! As a female I’ve always felt welcomed and safe walking the yard. It’s organized and the people are super knowledgeable about what they have. Plus the owner also does hard work for animal rescue and awareness! My whole family uses Pic-a-Part! Love it there!
My partner and I love this yard. There is a wide selection of cars, things are fairly priced, it’s well organized, and everyone is so friendly! As an added bonus, there are a variety of cats that meander around.

As a woman who's worked on my own cars since I was 16, this place feels like home. Everything from parts for motorcycles and mowers, to classic box trucks and European makes. They've almost always had whatever random part, bolt, or accessories I was looking for. Owner is a huge animal rescue advocate, badass, and runs a killer yard with a just as awesome team and knowing she existed gave me so much more confidence in what I love doing but always felt like I was judged or out of place for. Very clean place, was worth the hour drive to get what i needed. Called to make sure the vehicle was there, even was told how long it was in the yard and the condition of it and color and how many of the styles there were, not like yards ,that do switch and bait.Can beat the prices and if your a Vet,entrance is free,cant beat that,save a dollar,wow... and got a discount on the parts. T he best is very cleanyard, all vehicles are all on the ground, not stacked like other yards
I went today to find a replacement for my cars sun visors. I've never been to a junk yard before, but the lady up front (who based off of other reviews I am assuming is the owner) was very nice, and explained how it works very well. I spent about an hour looking around, they have an amazing selection of cars, all sorted into groups by their brands. I was sadly unable to find the right sun visors, but I did find a replacement for another part (a rear view mirror in exelent condition). When I brought it up to the office, I was expecting the price to be around the lines of $10-$20, and was surprised when I was told it was only $5. I then had trouble replacing the mirror on my car, and two workers kindly helped me with everything. Although I may have to find my sun visor at another yard, I will definitely still be visiting again soon.
Only place to sell your junk car to. All the other yards and people say they will buy your junk car and never show up. I have a small parking lot and needed my truck junked for more space. They gave me a time and showed up like they said they would with CASH and now I gained another parking spot. Will be dealing with them in the future with any other junk vehicles.
I had been trying to sell my old car and it seemed everyone was giving me the runaround. These places had very poor customer service...they never got back to me and/or went back on their word. On a friend's recommendation I called junkyard barbie. They were friendly, courteous and told me upfront the process and how much they could give me for the car. They were true to their word and they came and got the car next day and gave me the money there on the spot. I would recommend them 100%!!!
The place it’s well organized. The front lady was great on telling us that the parts for the car we were looking might not be there it’s a 50/50 chances. Over all well organized place
