After receiving the check for my vehicle I attempted to deposit it into my account. It was a mistake with the spelling of my last name. I did contact Coparts and seem to be getting the run-around. I will keep you guys updated as this move forward.

Everything is very very suspicious. To be fair, I got a good offer on my car, but there were red flags left and right. The driver that showed up to pick up the car said they’re from the insurance company (what insurance company ??? They’re supposed to be from Copart) and when I asked them for some kind of ID they got very defensive. I tried to take a pic of the license plate of the truck it was covered in mud. I asked to get some sort of receipt for the title and the vehicle and key fobs . When I tried to cash the check the amount in numbers was written over (there was a 2 on top of a 1) which caused a lot of suspicion at the bank. I was able to deposit the check I think (the money is still not available but I think that maybe a BoA thing).
Worst experience ever they give you a offer on the the phone then low ball you when they pick the car up and if you buy with copart they steal parts of your car be aware buyer's and sellers
Communications were flawless and helpful with follow up. Although I didn't get the offer I envisioned, in the end the offer was fair. Pickup was convenient and the check was written before the vehicle was taken.
