Finally a scrap yard that doesn’t treat the customers like trash! (No pun intended). Rocco is helpful and makes it worth going out of my way to travel to EMR
Great place to scrap old iron workout weights, and friendly people too. Both the man behind the counter who operates the tractor and the man who takes care of your vehicles weight and material were both very pleasant to do business with.
The only thing I would recommend they do differently is post a sign for each pile of scrap. The guy at the car weigher told me to drop my stuff at the puddle, and it was more than a puddle since I drove a car and not a dump truck. I couldn't just back up and dump my iron, I had to park and unload my trunk manually. Not wanting to wade through several inches of water I put the iron in the next pile over. That's when the guy who drives the tractor told me I put it in the wrong pile, so I had to get a little wet and muddy and throw my iron from one pile to the other. For first time visitors like myself a little extra signage would go a long way, because I didn't notice at first the concrete wall that separates the piles.
All in all their prices are much better than I thought - $10 per 100 pounds of iron. Not bad, not bad at all.
My go to place,staff is always friendly and willing to help. Congrats on 5th star,the atm is no longer a weather problem yards clean ppl are always there to help when needed.keep up the good work.

Last time we drop 6 hardlines from tower of 100 ft and got weight 989lbs, today we drop 6 hardlines from tower of 220 ft and got weight 1200lbs, how it's possible? No any explanation
I am retired and the third and LAST Time i went here there scale was NOT CORRECT I had 14 .2 LBs of Romex wire and the first time I dropped it on the scale it registered 7 LBS and I told them that could not be Correct they told me to remove it and pushed another button and told me to but it back on and then My weight was 11 LBS witch was still wrong because Before I went there I weighed it on a USPS Shipping scale and it weighed 14 Lb 2 OZ BEWARE THEY ARE RIP OFF ARTIST SEEMS THEY CAN ADJUST SCALES AT ANY TIME
Well I got to tell you the guys are pretty nice that he have more it's a recycling place that I usually don't do but I had passed out in the back of my friends pickup truck and when he dumped me out in the trash and I woke up those guys were nice they gave me a blanket they gave me some coffee they even said that I was worth 22 bucks in scrap cuz of my gold teeth so have you got a scrap I would definitely take it there they gave me beer too which was just it is Christmas so Merry Christmas all you scrappers projector guy says have a beer on May will you see me laying in the gutter just tuck me in okay y
The guys are always super helpful and telling me how to classify metal and get the most out of what I have. Every time I have a question it's happily answered. I highly recommend this yard
Getting rid of our copper pipe and baseboards heat covers was so easy. Drive up, dump and get paid. The guys were very helpful, the only thing.... be careful and watch your tires.....
Man, I've been in and out of scrap yards for about 16 years now... there is not 1 yard out there that compares to this one. Tucker runs a tight ship! All of the employees are vary respectful and helpful.The yard is always clean and I get paid top dollar for everything! Thanks for being here!
Best Prices around, employees are great! Particularly the two I deal with almost every day, Theo and Tina.And the yard is most clean. I love the way the push the pile and keep it clean too!! Great job EMR Bristol!!

The best scrap yard to go to the staff is always friendly they treat you like family. The prices are the highest if not they match or beat other yards prices. I would highly recommend.
Hello folks. I’m E Daughtry but most people call me Marty. I’ve been going to EMR Bristol from the first day they opened. I think I was like number 6th in line. Well I haven’t stopped gone there since. The prices are pretty much unbeatable. In other words theirs are the highest around. The staff is great and they work with you and the people in the yard are fun. So pretty much if you wanna be in a family environment and get paid for it EMR Bristol is the place to go. EMR BABY!!!
Great place to do buisness good people willing to help YOU out with any questions you may have only reason i didnt give 5 is because you never know how much scale price is gonna be the prices go up and down and there is no way of knowing what materials go where or how to segregate different materials for different pay scales no real information on what. They do purchase as far as the norm copper , alum. Brass etc...But all and all best yard around in my opinion. After my reveiw my next visit there I was shown the steps to take to get the most from my scrap .I was impressed that the personel took the time to assist me ...I have to give them tose 5 stars for being so helpful..

Best scrap yard I've ever been to. The staff is friendly and willing to help. They have the best prices around. I'll never go to another yard after finding this one.
