Off season and the track was wet so the 11am start time was delayed till about 12:30. Restrooms closed with only 2 portonohns available. The snack bar was open with a limited menu so that was nice.
Love Maple Grove! Ever since they closed the dragstrip in Englishtown, NJ, Maple Grove is the closest host of NHRA drag racing to NY. Kenny Koretsky has done a great job keeping this beautiful place up and running and making it a staple of the NHRA schedule. I went by myself for years, but now my wife and kids enjoy coming as well. Make sure you bring earplugs, though!
Maple Grove Speedway is one of our favorite places to go every year! My wife, my father, and I make it a tradition, and it’s always such a great time. The atmosphere is exciting, the races are thrilling, and the whole experience is something we look forward to year after year. The track is well run, the staff does a great job, and it’s just an awesome place to enjoy racing with family.
Excellent Race track facilities!! Very clean and excellent staff members that have fun keeping it that way! Love the camping area! Reasonable prices! Come on down and watch some good ol drag racing!!!
My daughter and I always go for NHRA in September. Along with my buddy and his daughter, a daddy daughter day. As well as the rest of my family. We love it so my, my daughter counts down the days every year. The track is awesome, drivers are inviting. Perfect place to have a great weekend. I wish they raced there 2 times a year.
I actually do like it here. The NHRA Nationals are a great event. However, there's too much smoking in the grandstand, which really ruins the fan experience for us non smokers.
I sure did love seeing the jet cars race!!! Bad storms were rolling in and people were leaving in droves, so the sparse crowds have nothing to do with the event, or the track. I apologize in advance for the wonky video, but I couldn't keep pace with the jet cars!
Pretty cool, drag racing 🏁 track! Be sure to bring some hearing protection or ear plugs? Those cars are super fast and loud as they past by..! Bring lawn chairs if you prefer not to sit in the stands...
Thanks to the new owners this race track for keeping it open. Great place to meet old friends and make new ones. Easy to get in and out when NHRA events are going on.
This was my first time ever watching racing live, and we had fun. The bathrooms are clean and the staff is very friendly.
The food is a bit pricey, but that's to be expected! Bring cash. If you forget your earplugs, you can buy some. 😉
Great venue with very friendly staff. This was the first time i have been to a NHRA event and I will definitely be back to see another. Maplegrove Raceway keep up the great work!
Only been once but it was fun to watch and a nice but got as hell experience and they only take cash. If you want food make sure to have cash, they have an atm but $3.50 is what you'll get charged
We had a fabulous time watching the races. The track is well kept. A lot of vendors. Plenty of parking. Overall one of the greatest drag strips I've been to.
My fist ever visit to this place was for the night lights event, which I must say was amazing, it was almost magical seeing so many lanterns light up the night sky, I must say the ambience was superb, for the event I will go again next time they're around.
First time here this previous weekend. Made the drive all the way from New York City to go to a couple car shows. Old Forge Cars and Coffee winds up being a no show as usual and then three cars show up...wow. So I start looking for another event and notice I do not have to wait to go to Naple Grove Raceway so I go right away and what a great time it was.
Besides the car show they had there drag racing was also going on as well. I have not been to Englishtown since I was small and from what I heard it is in decline but this place is very nice. The back roads traveled to get here were very scenic and the towns seemed very nice. They had a static competition, not that I was very interested in the event itself but the Cars themselves were very nice and saw 2 previous cars I had.
The drag races were very nice and was fascinated by the skinny wheels on those oversized pencil like cars. Would definitely come here again. These pictures are but some of the few I encountered.
Great experience, nice race track, plenty of vendors with food and drinks. Very cool to watch the teams working on their vehicles and engines. Today was the Mopar Express Lane NHRA Nationals. This was my first time going to this track, totally worth the trip. Thanks!
We did No Prep Kings Street Outlaws, I would suggest camping out instead of driving everyday of getting a hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. This is not their first rodeo! Thank you to everyone at Maple Grove Raceway for an amazing experience!
Maple Grove raceway has awesome events. The process for getting in is terrible, people who pre pay stand in a line with people who have to pay at window,when u pay for parking online(vip) it's the closest to the street not near the action. They don't tell u that until u sit in 20 mins of dead stop traffic as people have to make u turns in front of you. They have 2 sets of concessions stands,they only have the furthest from the entrance ones open.... plenty of bathroom facilities which are reasonably clean. Over all nice place,just needs some re organization.
🏁Went to the Glory Days event today at Maple Grove. It was a hot one today at the grove, but nevertheless the turnout and variety of classes was an exciting show! I went with a friend, he had is car is the car show which was another cool side show of this race day lineup. My buddy actually was one of the lucky winners out of the large turnout! He received a dash plaque, a Wally, and two tickets to September NHRA event; how cool. Maple Grove memories that last a lifetime.
