Longswamp Township Park in
Mertztown (PA)

I used to come here every summer from 9-1 back when they had a summer program for kids(pre 2015). This place was really fun to be at, although the giant swings seem to be gone.

I like parks that aren't crowded and this is the best park for that. Most of the time it's just us and a couple other people never crowded

Could do better maintenance, especially on pavilion rentals. If we would leave it the way we found it we wouldn't get our deposit back.

They have a nice walking trail that's paved. It's a fairly long trail. Lots of sports activities here, baseball, hockey, etc.

My kids love this playground

Needs Serious Maintenance The tennis court and basketball court were very very dirty and slippery. Needs a good pressure washing. My hands never got so dirty playing basketball and the tennis balls are ruined. The tennis nets were sagging. The basketball nets were ripped. The volleyball post base is heaving right under the basketball net making the court unusable for a real game. The roller hockey was worn hard but still fun.

Nice clean park, never very many people here either.

The playground is the best I have seen in any other township. Nice walking trail. We played pickel ball, big court for playing.

Clean and well maintained

Park is very clean and great for children. They have playground sets for all age range. There are also picnic tables, but didn’t notice any bathrooms. There was a porter potty available.

Great park

The girls love coming here if not for sledding in the winter then for the awesome play ground, or picnicking at the pavilion. Everything has always been well taken care of and clean.

The park is beautiful. The equipment has a lot to keep plenty of kids busy for awhile. There is places to play baseball, hockey, basketball, tennis, and volleyball. The only downside is, they have a big, beautiful sandbox with nifty diggers set up, but they also have a sand wasp issue, making it hard for the kids to enjoy the sand. Still, a lovely place to play and they have wonderful pavilions to enjoy a nice picnic!

Attended swamp fest. Great show. Great food. Great craft vendors. Very nice place. Very nice people

Went for an Easter ? hunt. Good playground. Lots for every size.

So peaceful here. The trails are great for walking and the playground has plenty to keep the kiddos busy!

Great place to walk the dogs and some nice grass fields for soccer or what have you

Very nice playground for the kids - multiple slides, swings, climbing bars, and unique playground equipment that isn't as common elsewhere. The pavilion can be rented out and is very nice with wooden tables with separate benches, making it a bit more accommodating than traditional picnic tables. A brick oven is there too, but we didn't use it. Very kid and family friendly with plenty of shade under the pavilion.
