Nostalgic country general store. With ice cream ,hoggies,wraps,and even a cool toy section I love this place its one of my favorite Sunday lunch time stops.
What a great find where all the locals know each other. It's a historic hidden gem. Worth the drive for lunch, a few groceries, general store items and Nesting Box ice cream!!! A must have.
Everything is made to order back in the deli. I had the chicken salad on greens, with avocado and oregano. It was delicious. And of course the ice cream is always amazing.
Cute shop. They have a lot of items you need in a pinch as well as local goods. They also have items in bulk. The sandwich shop was very good. They also have nesting box ice cream, which is the best in the area!
Cute general store with a deli that you can get a sub or sandwich. Some of the selection of products appeared odd, but the food was good. I am sure if I am in the area, I would stop again.
Stopped through here during the Hawk Mountain arts tour, and it’s a neat little place! Gift shop, grocery store, and fresh made PA Dutch deli food too! Prices were reasonable and it was large enough to accommodate the crowds from the tour.
I love this place! Such a cute store. I go there for coffee and breakfast/lunch all the time. The staff is so friendly and the food is always good. There are always cute new trinkets. Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area!
Great customer service. We enjoyed a seasonal wrap. Everything was fresh and delicious. Cute little gift shop. Great kimchi! We also enjoyed stretching our legs and taking our pups for a stroll around the old train station. We would definately stop again when traveling through the area.
Stopped in for some lunch and really enjoyed the tuna wraps. Fresh and flavorful. The general store has a good selection of staples and pantry food, will have to come back.
Excellent spot to grab some hot Green Mountain Coffee at a truly authentic country store. My buddy lives down the road and isn't the best host so I usually pop on down for some grub and joe in the am, when I'm around. Old pot belly stove gives me visions of the local farmers meeting and gossiping around it. Lots of local art, fishing tackle/licensing, full Mennonite style market inside with local produce. I like sitting out back in the breeze on a picnic table or i walk over to the train tracks and let my mind wander and wonder...
Such a wonderful historic general store with a variety of candy, gift items, store branded clothing, a deli (our Italian hoagie was delicious), and a wide selection of grocery items. A great place to visit!
Cool little shop with a little bit of everything and a lot a bit of personality. You can find bagged bulk items like candies, nuts, and granola. There's also a kombucha refill station I thought was pretty unique. The deli seemed to have a nice, fresh variety of items as well with a cute, quaint dine-in area.
This store, along with the staff and customers, are the nicest and friendliest group of people someone could come by!
I was stuck wondering away from the highway looking for gas and they helped me out. As well as I got a delicious sandwich while there. Everyone stop by this place while in the area!
This charming little store nestled in Kempton is a nice place to grab any general needs. The deli sandwiches are so good and the place is kept organized and clean.
The best wraps. Consistently good food. Nice staff. Very comfortable and interesting place.

Great homemade sandwiches (cold and hot) and hoagies. Outdoor picnic tables available. Fast and friendly service. They also have such a cute general store with unexpected knickknacks, trinkets, keepsakes, etc. Lots of local handmade items also. Family friendly. Fishing supplies so you can enjoy the neighboring lake (Leaser). 10/10 would recommend to anybody
My 3 star rating is for Italian hoagies, good flavor, where's the meat, very very thin sliced too expensive for $11.95, not worth it. Groceries are expensive, great unique gifts highly expensive. Overall EXPENSIVE!!
What a beautiful little store! I'll be going back to try the deli. But the gift shop side has some really pretty stuff. Live bait was super fresh and cheap! Caught some great fish with their nightcrawlers.
Love this quaint little store! Don’t get here very often, but always stop in at Christmas time when getting trees locally or when hiking at Leaser Lake. Excellent sandwiches, friendly staff snd just a fun place to shop. Always come home with snacks, candies and other little specialties. Recommend if in the area!
