Great hardware and household store. Some items are higher priced but it is so much closer to home than HD or L.
Update-Nov 2025 Picked up some work gloves. Some good sale prices this week.
I love this store. It is well merchandised, clutter free and has what you’re looking for! It also has a lot of stuff you’re not looking for:) So, my advice is to grab a cart on the way in.
Personally I myself will not return to this store, do to the rude cashier that is there. No response to a good morning or a thank you. I thought when you worked with the public that you should be courteous. This is for the store in Macungie Pa.
The greatest place for contractors to shop for their projects. They have everything you need at great prices !!! The best thing is that you can talk to people who know what you're talking about . Unlike home creepo or losers...

We had shopped for assistance at several design centers
Since the job was not a large one, We never got too far.
Until I dropped in at Wehrung’s , We met with Robyn and she could not have been any more helpful
She helped us put the entire package together. Shower, toilet, sink and a beautiful cabinet to hold our washer dryer and plenty of room for supplies.
She helped us choose the colors and took the time to size everything perfectly. She even dropped by to hmeet with our contractor!
She was available every step of the way.

If you go anywhere else you’re making a mistake
Went to have a key made and took it home and it fits in the door but won't unlock it. Took it back to had it made again and still didn't work. Absolutely horrible experience. Got my money back and left. Not a sorry for the inconvenience or anything. I get mistakes but two of them just to duplicate a key?!?! Will never go back.
We ordered windows and the order showed up wrong. They corrected it but still billed us for windows we never received. Took for ever to resolve. One window had a stress crack in the glass. Took 6 months to replace and they charged. Now one of the seals on the glass failed and the pane is cloudy. Can’t get anyone to respond. Email gets no response. Calls don’t get answered or returned.
Did you willingly host NJ resident Dr. Oz for a photo op? Would you give John Fetterman the same opportunity? We've spent good money there several times before, but if you actually support a clown who's never held office before and who continues to be an election denier to score political points, we're outta there.
Update to my review: Thank you, Wehrung's for the quick response. Fair is fair, so if I say/said something critical that perhaps may be unwarranted, I'm big enough to acknowledge it publicly.
We had Wehrung's design our kitchen remodel and the experience was incredible. Robin was our designer and her attention to detail and effort in making sure everything was taken care of could not have been better. They made such a potentially daunting process so easy. The home store also had so many great brands to choose from. If you are considering remodeling, you should support this local business. Highly recommended.
Go elsewhere - I was charged twice for the item that just happened to be most expensive of the things I bought. When I noticed I was told that this happened all the time. When I asked why I wasn't told / why the employees don't double check the receipt it was suddenly an "IT problem", "IT never come over to this store" - "but it is fixed now". Lies and dishonesty piled on deception. Most repellant is that I got a reply from the "assistant manager" who offered me 10% discount without me actually telling hm what the problem was. I won't be going back. Make sure you check your receipt before you leave.
Nice place, but never has what you need. And during this covid-19 pandemic, they are charging $9.99 for a 7.5 fl oz bottle of hand sanitizer, when you can buy an 8 oz bottle from CVS for $1.99. SHAME ON YOU FOR PRICE GOUGING . PATHETIC!
I thought I wrote a review before so, I love this store. It's clean, organized and the staff is great! Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Devon in the paint dept. Always goes above and beyond to answer questions. So rather go to this local store than a big box store. Thank you for everything!
Great rural home center. Family owned. Great staff. Good selection, great prices. They also have a lot of other businesses in the area including promotional products, custom windows, cabinetry, and precast.
Always a pleasurable experience when I come here. This weekend I rented a Pole Saw to trim some trees. Tyler in the Rental Department was a huge help. He was very professional. He made sure the saw was filled with gas and workeding properly before I left. Their supply, prices and customer service are much better than any other Home Supply store I use to frequent.

Great for small and large projects from start to finish.
In any other time, this is a great place, but while we are under the COVID cloud, this is a dangerous place. The staff does not wear masks appropriately (only covering their mouths) and customers often do not wear any masks at all. The election was two months ago so it is time to follow generally accepted health guidelines rather than making political statements at the expense of store customers.
We just finished having a deck installed, and highly recommend Wehrung’s lumber! They were overly helpful in product knowledge, and able to get all the material to us promptly, all while having the best pricing! Their service was superior to anyone in the industry! I would strongly encourage anyone who is building a deck to reach out to Wehrung’s!

I'm glad to see Matt in rental again. He's super helpful, polite, and smart. Rental has been a gigantic nightmare before he came back. I like the new rewards program and how it keeps customers coming back. Contractor checkout is certainly hit or miss. Sometimes you just stand at the register while all the employees putz around on their computers pretending you're not there or the computers act up. Yard employees are non existent some days. Overall this is a great, local business with some usual kinks. I'll go here before I go to the big orange box store. Must be hit or miss but you get great service 95% of the time.
I tend to go to this place a lot it's in route for me from work to my house.. there are a few other places that I could stop in between but sometimes I like to choose this location because I know what they have to offer and what the others like Ace Hardware and Tractor Supply do not. The only tough scenario with this store is occasionally if I have a question that requires an experienced higher up employee 4 information and know how, the demand for that individual is usually high so it may take a bit until I have my answers and guided influence for my needs and purchases.. but overall a good place to rely on for Tools services.. I always try to go here instead of supporting Lowe's and Home Depot if I can.
Great all around old fashioned quality. Great quality materials, great quality service, you will never hear I dont know or I dont care from the team members here. The employees here will stop what they are doing to assist you with whatever you need. Example: I went in yesterday to have 2 propane containers filled, I went in paid for the propane and walked back out to have them filled, there was a young man on a forklift moving materials in the yard, he saw me walk out with a slip in my hand (about 50 ft away from me) and immediately stopped the forklift, eagerly jumped out and asked what he could assist me with. If I went to home depot I would have walked around for an hour looking for assistance and when I finally find it, it's some punk with metal in his face, pink hair and an attitude. I will always shop here even if it's out of the way. I shop here all the time and of the many times I've been here I have NEVER had a negative experience. I always walk out knowing more than I did when I walked in. I cannot say enough about how superb Wehrungs is!!! I only wish there were more places like it!!!
