Copart themselves are very nice and professional. However, they outsource their towing and it seems will use anyone.
They sent a truck to pick up my total loss vehicle. Driver tried to take the wrong car (VIN's did not match.) Claimed I wasn't home (I have a RING doorbell tied to my phone.) A witness at the nearby bus stop saw him try to lift the wrong vehicle twice.
The correct car was right at the corner, with the keys in it.
The wrong car was a convertible. The correct car was a station wagon. The tow person should have reached out to someone - anyone - before attempting to take a car with the wrong VIN.
Eventually Allstate called and we cleared it up.
Copart won’t disclose the tow company’s info. Hopefully the convertible isn’t damaged.
Avoid this place if possible. Office ladies lack accountability and respect. They really picked from the bottom of the barrel when hiring. Is management trying to lose customers? You hear more gossip here than the news station. They can’t even focus on completing a pickup without getting distracted with bickering. Holly would rather find a reason to not do something than to just do the job she was given so she can go home. It seems like they just feel like they need to bring an interesting story to the table when they go home. If you just do your job then you can actually get out on time and not have to lock the doors early to prevent customers bringing their business. If you’re really that unhappy with working here, move on. None of the customers are forcing you to be there so stop taking it out on them.
If you are driver, NEVER EVER COME!!! This place is not ready for work. Entrance is awful not enough space for carhoulers! If i can, I would give 0.5 star instead of 1 star!
To the car buyers, avoid at all cost. If you saw the HORIFYING way they move these vehicles around the lot, believe me you would never think twice about buying one. If that vehicle didn't have undercarriage (at the very least) damages before, I assure you it does now.
To the people with a total loss vehicle, clean your vehicle BEFORE it gets towed here. They will rummage through your entire vehicle. Nothing was where i left it before it arrived. I gave absolutely NOONE permission to do this and half of my stuff was in an envelope behind their front desk. Call me and ask if I want this done first, but this in no way should not be a common practice. I'm certain something is missing and I'm also certain they would not take responsibility for it. Unbelievable. You have made a horrible experience (totaling my vehicle) and somehow managed to make it worse. Avoid this place no matter the business you plan to perform. Rude. Awful. Inconsiderate. Irresponsible. Ignorant on how they move vehicles. Bad business all around.
They never want to ride the cars, according to them the cars arrive and they don't move them inside the yard. A total lack of respect. They don't ride cars but they do charge a lot of fees. They do not provide good service. Very upset.

They are now only allowing members to preview Tuesdays from 1-4. I get they have their reasons but they should make this fact well known for those of us that come from a long distance.The app and computer printouts of the lot clearly states. " You may preview vehicles at Copart during normal business hours". Sad that their policy doesn't consider return customers. Staff was nice as always.
Was an easy place to interact with. I had no trouble using their system to preview and purchase a van. Their storage fees are a little out of line considering they charge you for weekend days while it is not possible to pick up a vehicle on the weekend. But other that that it was a fun experience. The employees I interacted with were easy to work with. Be sure to preview in person anything you bid on as they do not provide undercarriage photos.
This is the slowest copart location I visited in Pittsburgh area. Have to wait hours to preview and hours for pickup. A lot of people in the office but not enough in a yard. Lot is nice and clean.
Nightmare trying to bid on cars. Nothing works. They refused both my bids on both auctions. I would have won. I learned the hard way to stay far away from copart.
Bought a 2019 Ford Ecosport from this auction place. The photos were pretty accurate for displaying the damage. Although the vehicle was listed as "Doesn't start or drive". It did start and drive, it just leaks oil from the oil filter being ripped off. The vehicle had a paper inside it saying not to start it. I am about 95% completed with repairing the Ecosport back to oem specs. Just waiting on two parts only!
By far the best experience I've had in any of the Copart location. I arrived at the location, clicked on "I have arrived" on the kiosk app, within less than 5 minutes I saw the car being brought to us, I had not even gotten out of the car as I was preparing for the usual wait. Car was placed on trailer and the was instructed to go inside office, did so, very nice lady came up to me and gave me the tittle. This is how it should be when a car has been paid and you are ready for pick up. Copart employees are very nice but sometimes I feel the system to pay and pick up should be streamed lined.
Friendly, very efficient staff. I got there had to wait maybe 10 minutes to get into the building. Was only picking up 1 car. By the time the clerk finished processing my paperwork which was only 3 minutes, the yard man had the car already at my trailer. Very good service!
Need better experience to actually be able to go to lot and check vehicles out better, more time in yard and actually have time to look at vehicles, the time they give you to scout out vehicle should be a better windows for customers, also should I mention that a undercarriage pictures would be a nice up grade as well

The lady there was actually rude and didn't seem to care about how much time she blew I waited practically an hour to pick up a vehicle and there was no one else there even creating a problem why she couldn't take care of this in a timely manner is beyond me I wanted to look at a couple more vehicles and I didn't have no time to do it disgusting
It’s the last place you want to go to. They are Terrible they wanted my truck to be 100% flat so they car put the car on the truck. It’s the place you don’t want to go for. I’ve waited 1:30 hrs. To get my car from them and there were not a lot of people there it is terrible

Here is another day being in the lazy land, picked a car at neighborly copart and apparently the title it is at this place, waiting time 45 min jut to pick up a title,that's because? Please update your id..tic explanation, that you gonna do better and bla bla
Bought the car - Picked up the car - No issues - Smooth location - They put it right on my trailer - Drove away. Recommend this location for your car purchase.
Got there scaned the bar code got a text said 10 minutes called 40 minutes later and the girl said I wasn't on the Q I have to rescan and wait again. And no she wasn't friendly so I I rescaned the bar code spent a total of 3 hours waiting to get in and I left . When you enter there are signs to scan the bar code . There are 3 signs with directions all three are in Spanish. There was not a sign in English out side .
If you are lucky to have won a bid, make sure you get Lori to help you from Pittsburgh West and Tina from Pittsburgh north. Both girls are super sweet and so very helpful.
pretty lrganized during covid. had to downliad app and got real time updates and place in line to pickup, fast fork lift drivers. all paperwork was complete.
The people who work here are very rude and refuse to wait on us. We followed all the the required protocols and yet they have 5 or 6 people walk in front of us in line. I regret getting a car from this dump.

Please, talk to your people. We as transporter drivers have to wait hours to pick up cars. Although there is not a long line. I waited 40 minutes. There was only one person in front of me.
We run logs as you might know. Driving in PA is difficult. Time lost at this location costs us one more lost day for delivery.
Talk to them. Explain them.
I won a car from this auction, and it was actually my first Copart experience. I ended up getting the wrong title delivered along with the car, and the employees were very helpful and I got the correct title pretty quick. Would definitely buy from this auction again!
