Only car repair shop I’d visit in Pottstown, during a busy season Joe fixed my car. My transmission gave out and he gave me an affordable price to fix. Joe is the only mechanic I’d let touch my vehicle. If your looking to get your car fixed, joes the guy.
If you're having transmission problems, look no further. Joe Minotto's shop is where it's at! Joe is honest, reasonable, and kind. He rebuilt the trans in my Chevy and had me back on the road in about a week. He was cheaper than the competitor up the road ( I won't mention names AAM*O), and I got a great warranty. He also does state inspection. I haven't had "a guy" since Milt's closed in Stowe. Well, I have a guy now. Thank you, Joe Minotto!!!

Excellent service! I had my F-150 brought here referral from my local garage for a transmission oil pump fail. Since the replacement Ford transmission was no longer available, I had it rebuilt by Minotto’s. The repair time was only 3 days and pricing was extra reasonable. The transmission now runs like a treat, also with an excellent warranty! I will definitely be returning if I need transmission service on my other vehicles.
Joe and his son continue to deliver exceptional quality work, advice, and overall customer service, consistently, regardless of task. This time I took my Cummins '06 Dodge Ram 3500 Mega Cab Dually needing some "squeak" troubleshooting plus rear wheel bearings, races, and seals. A few hours later, squeak was fixed and rear axle-ends were like new again. As always, at an ultra-fair cost. You will be hard-pressed to find better value anywhere else.
This was my first time having a vehicle serviced here, but it won't be my last. The half hour drive was worth every second. Joe, his son, and the other mechanic made sure my 96 Astro van with 237k plus miles on was in tip top condition for me. Price was extremely reasonable. Had I gone elsewhere, my bill would have been almost double what Joe charged.

My boyfriend's dad's car's transmission broke down right in front of Joe's, and they looked at it quickly, gave us an opinion about the transmission and the cost of repair (the price to repair, which would cost more to fix than the car was worth, super honest). After that, he towed the car for us and gave us a ride home (not far, about 10 minutes). Super honest and helpful.
