Recently started using Franklin Auto, they an inspection and some service work and most recently fit me in for a small problem that came up last minute. I will recommend to others!

The receptionist and business in general is a joke. Ignorant. Zero help and they outright lie to you about the time to get into the shop. I was told they were 2 weeks out and it’s at the 2 month point. I wanted to use them and gave them every shot to be transparent with me about wait times etc but they were not. I’m thankful because this is only an indication of what the rest of the process would have been if I’ve used their shop. I am without a truck still and they wasted 2+ months of my time. They might not take their business seriously but I’m serious about my time and honesty. I’d give 0/5 stars if I could. The receptionist is truly a bad hire. And George wasn’t true to his word.

Called to speak with George about a matter we spoke about, was answered by the receptionist. Very rude and hostile wouldn’t let me know what was going on, nothing. Need a new face for your business. I definitely will not be coming back

I recently took my car to Franklin Auto for a starter replacement. Unfortunately, just two days later, I experienced a blown head gasket. While I understand that some mechanical failures can be unpredictable, the timing of this issue raises concerns about the quality of service provided. I reached out to the shop to discuss the problem, hoping for assistance or at least an acknowledgment of the situation. Regrettably, I was met with dismissiveness and a lack of accountability. This experience has left me questioning the professionalism and reliability of this establishment. I would advise potential customers to exercise caution when considering Franklin Auto for their automotive needs. It's essential to find a repair shop that stands behind its work and values customer satisfaction.

The team at Franklin Auto is top notch. Fair price and solid work. My new go-to place to maintain my truck.

I have been going here for about 3 to 5 years, and they are nothing but amazing! Shawn that works there is great. He loves to give detailed descriptions and history on issues that need repaired. He has the heart of a teacher and love him for it! The only downside at this place is they are a bit busy because they provide such great service. So you will have to schedule appointments for work. They will try to work you in there in emergencies (ie car has oil/gas leak was in the shop in 2 days).

I wish you could dislike the three star review that person gave this place. Nothing beats this place. Their quality and service are fantastic, and they actually talk to you like a person. I won't go elsewhere.

Sean was helpful with diagnosing my check engine light. He was informative in explaining repairs needed & quickly repaired my vehicle. I was able to get repairs, inspection, emissions, an oil change and the car was ready for pickup the following day.

Sean and Donna were so helpful, going above and beyond. I found this to be the best experience I’ve ever had with a shop! Polite, reasonable, fast, quality work. Very pleased. This is a great business!! They also cleaned and detailed my interior wonderfully at no charge while my car was in for a paint repair. Excellent!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Took my truck here after stalling while driving. Quickly deduced crankshaft position sensor to be the issue, fixed that, did my inspection, and replaced a tie rod all in one visit. Was pretty quick too considering the volume of vehicles i’m sure they see. Price was decent, and they even sent us a text a week later to ask if everything was still working well.

Franklin Auto is so nice to work with, and always does their best to provide customers with adequate knowledge to make an informed decision. I've trusted them for years and would recommend them to anyone ❤

I was looking for a quality repair shop that was also honest and experienced. And I finally found it in Franklin Auto Repair. Sean answered the phone when I called and was he was straight up from the start about what he thought could be the problem and when he could get to it. He then squeezed it into their busy week to help me out since the car was soon to be driven 1200 miles to North Dakota and needed attention for several issues. They took the car on time and worked on it to diagnose the problems. When Sean called with his report, he offered options and because one of the issues ( a/c not cooling properly) was not evidencing itself in the shop, Sean was clear to say he would not just replace something unless he could clearly identify the root cause first. He was willing to keep the car another day to try and further ID the problem and it really paid off for us. Rather than having to buy a new compressor which another shop would have been happy to sell us, Franklin Auto found the real cause which was that the system had been overcharged with Freon (done by a shop in CA) and that was what was causing the issue we were experiencing. They were able to drain and refill the system and now the a/c working great! George and Sean clearly value their name and reputation (family owned ) more than making the most money they can on each repair job. This is an honest, experienced, reputable shop that you can be confident will take the time necessary to accurately diagnose problems so they can make only those repairs that are necessary and are appropriate to solve the problem. Highly highly recommend!!!

Sean was so helpful! We were visiting Pittsburgh from out of town and had a water pump issue. They were able to help us out ASAP and stayed late to make sure we were able to get back home on schedule. Highly recommend!

Super amazing repair shop that is out to help you. I burst my tire and they got a new one, had it put it on, and they got me on my way while they were super busy. The service was professional and you can tell they care about their customers. They explained everything and all my options thoroughly and answered all of my questions. If I lived around here I would 100% make them my mechanic.

I had my rear brakes done here. Very affordable and easy to work with. Called made my appointment. They ordered the parts they would need to do my job and we scheduled appointment for when the parts would be in. I will definitely be back.

You can never go wrong with this shop. George and his guys are honest hard working car-doctors who will fix your problem as fast as humanly possible.

They are very good and honest. They repaired my 1986 Mercedes 560SL and also my newer autos. The price was always fair.

I've worked with Franklin Auto for the repairs I cannot manage on my Jeep, plus getting inspections done yearly. They're incredibly friendly and easy to work with, and are open and honest about what's going on with my vehicle. It's not easy to find a mechanic you can trust, and these guys are excellent.

If you know very little about cars, finding an honest mechanic is not an easy task. You often worry about being scammed or simply being overcharged for easy work. At Franklin Auto you have nothing to worry about. They will explain everything in terms that are easy to understand and give you honest opinions on what work your car needs. Before I went to Franklin Auto, I took my car to a dealership. They told me that it was imperative that I had certain work completed and then gave me an outrageous price for the work. I questioned the dealership and ended up taking my car to Franklin Auto. I told them that I believed that I needed certain work done. They checked my car out and told me I didn't even need that work completed. They could have easily walked away with my money and I would have never known. It's hard to find an honest person nowadays but Franklin Auto is one of the honest people.
