Weather was bein a jagoff. Had to call in the professionals to extract a vehicle. I never saw Mozart compose or Monet paint but I've seen Anthony work.
Asked for a jump the guy came with a jump pack and it didn’t work. We tried twice in less than a minute to hit start and was told the starter went in my car. Despite it not jumping and the companies location being 6 minutes away I was still charged $125 because the guy was in Penn hills with the tow truck. The truck in question was a regular ford pickup truck . The next day I asked my friend for a jump and after a few minutes my car started. So in all not enough effort was put into jumping my car, that indeed just needed a different method of a “jump start”.
Great guy very understanding I had run into a tough time but they made sure they seen I got through it definitely one of the. Best in the PGH hands down 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ highly recommend
Anthony hit something and damaged my trailer. He had an accident on the way , and my fender , and undercarriage is destroyed .He had an accident on way and is trying to deny it. .. On the highway 70 he unhooked the trailer and left it over night on the turnpike.He lied and said it was only a flat tire issue. I paid to have Emergency tow service tire fix . he fender was destroyed .
I will take this to court .
That guy is awful. He Also ran out of gas 2 hours from me at midnight. He had a bad attitude and demanded that I deliver him gas.... I called many tow Emergency gas services companies and they wanted hundreds of dollars to deliver him gas so instead I drove him gas myself and spent three hours driving . But the fender and bottom of trailer near tire was destroyed , the issue was not just a flat tire He is Refused to cooperate when i asked for the photographs He said he won't send me the photographs. The fact that he doesn't want to send me the before photos shows guilt.
Don't ever use him again. There is something wrong with him mentally...
Anthony was great at providing a service above the expected, since I didn’t have my keys he went beneath the vehicle to switch its gear to neutral for towing, after this he took my heavy van effectively to its destination.
Absolute worst service. I contacted them at 4:16, was told a tow would be en route within the hour. Called back at 6:05, was told a truck was having some trouble, a tow would be there within an hour. At 8:30, he said he would find out where his driver was. He then hung up on me when I called back at 9:05 and ignored my next call back. Calling back from a new number at 9:22 he said he just spoke to me and told me the driver was coming, which was not true.
Called them 5pmish on a Wednesday for a tow/roadside assistance. No callback/no show after primary contact, luckily Penndot came by and pulled the van off of 79 and down to a Sheetz. No answer Thursday am. No call back. Thanks for nothing, Anthony!!
Tried to get a tow for a car needing repair. Was told 40 minutes. Called back an hour and fifteen minutes later. They said they would call back shortly. Waited another 30 minutes (1 hr 45 mins total) and decided to call another company who showed up in 30 minutes. Find another company to call for a tow. They never contacted me back.
If I could give a zero star review, I would. Would not recommend this company to anyone. They told me they would be at my wife’s car in 20 minutes after two hours went by and multiple excuses and them telling me they would be there shortly multiple times. They said their truck was stuck in the snow. Terrible communication, left my wife stranded on a busy highway for hours.
10 out of 10 Highly recommend..... They get the job done and are able to work with you ... Very nice understand people and if you have a sense of humor don't be afraid to show it... they did a really good job on my car and I definitely will be returning when in need ..... Thank you guys ......

Highly recommend this company. They've towed two different vehicles for me. After hitting a deer in my new car, causing about $20k in damage, I was stuck in the middle of a back road, Anthony came right out. He was transparent about the process and pricing and kept me in the loop with the progess of redoing my entire front end. Car looked brand new when I picked it up! Thank you for doing such a great job!
Pittsburgh Towing is awesome! I waited 4 hours for AAA to help me before they finally said no one was coming at 12am. 30 min after I contacted them and he was there - amazing speed. He found the issue with my vehicle almost immediately. I have a newer car and the parking break kept engaging when attempting to tow me. Instead of risking damage to my vehicle, he towed me to a safer location, went to his garage a bit down the road to get what he needed to patch my coolant line right there on the side of the road. He then told me to call him if anything went wrong and he would bring his flatbed up to tow me the rest of the way. He was extremely kind and really helped me in a tough situation. Above and beyond customer service. I will be calling them from now on if I’m ever broken down in Pittsburgh and you should too! Thank you!
Horrible and unprofessional ! Still waiting for my refund of my tires that I received the run around for. When originally quoting my refund he said $400 , which was a complete scam because I paid $750.84 for my tires and i guess he thought I didn’t remember that or something until I mentioned it then he was like “hold on hold on” and boosted the price up to $600 which is still not $750.84 but at this point I’m so eager to not ever have to deal with this unprofessional scammer again that I just said okay whatever to the $600 , he said it was processed and I would receive a confirmation of that. A week later still no refund nor any confirmation of it so I took the initiative to call and he said “I WILL SEND CONFIRMATION LATER TODAY BUT I HAVE NO INTEREST IN TALKING TO YOU” and then proceeded to hang up and not answer my following calls. As if I have the interest to have to call or speak to this man at all and I really don’t. So unprofessional ! I literally want my refund so I can block this company and never have to deal with such rude unprofessional people again.
Very unprofessional and horrible communication also over priced me for tires and did not refund me the amount back that was originally paid for them. Told me the same thing everyday for an entire month about working on my vehicle just to tell me he can’t and will refund me and did not refund the same amount that was paid. Charged me over $2k for jsut brakes rotors and new battery. Pretty much a unprofessional rude lying scammer if you ask me ! Very horrible service and do not recommend
I had a flat on my bike and they came out and plugged it right on the side of the road so I could get the rest of the way home. They will be my first call if I'm ever stuck in their area ever again. Quick and friendly service.
Quick and professional service! He went above and beyond to help after my car was broken into. The window was shattered and I didn't have anything to cover it with. It's been raining a lot so he tapef plastic over the window to protect it after he got to the location
Great service. Joe was there within an hour on a rainy day. Even in the bad weather, he took extra care in loading from a steep street onto the flatbed to help protect the bumpers. Dropped off my car at the shop, and kept me updated with texts and pics along the way. Highly recommended!
My car started overheating tonight, (on a late, dark, rainy Sunday evening). I had to pull over on the side of the road in West Mifflin, PA. There weren’t any businesses/homes around me. Many other places were closed/unavailable. I called Pittsburgh Towing Services, and they arrived and had my car towed within 30-40 minutes. The workers were very friendly, professional, and efficient. My car was towed 10-minutes away from my location to a shop. The driver (was given permission from his boss to) let me ride with him to the shop. I’m very grateful for them because I wasn’t left alone in the dark and rain. :) I 100% recommend this business and plan to use them again in the future.

My experience with Anthony’s Towing and Collision was very positive. While driving in the Squirrel Hill tunnel, my Chevy Avalanche would no longer accelerate but the RPMs were revving up. I managed to keep the vehicle running just long enough to get out of the tunnel and onto the shoulder before it stopped completely. I was off on the shoulder but not safe as vehicles were going by at 60-70mph. I called AAA. I was told I had an hour wait. An hour later, AAA calls and tells me, no, previous tow would not be coming and they have another company, but now I have to wait an additional 4 hours! AAA told me if I could find another tow company sooner, they would reimburse me the tow fee. There was no way I was sitting on the side of a major interstate until after midnight for a tow. So, my first call was to Anthony’s Towing and Collision. Anthony answered the phone right away and told me they could help, he just had to switch out their vehicle to a flatbed to handle my Avalanche. Anthony called to tell me he was on his way. Called again 10 minutes away. Within an hour, my vehicle was being loaded up onto a flatbed. Anthony took a look under the vehicle and told me the transmission line blew and the transmission fluid had emptied out. He didn’t have to investigate the cause but the information was valuable as I had something to tell my mechanic. He even game me a ride home!! Anthony towed the vehicle to my mechanic in Greensburg and called me later to let me know the truck had been dropped off. The entire experience was very positive and I found Anthony to be very nice and professional. I would not hesitate to call him again. Thanks!!
I had a flat tire due to potholes. He responded in great time actually had a replacement tire for my car. The gentleman was fast efficient and very polite and a great personality. I would highly recommend him for any services based on my experience.

I was so stressed with the situation and he was patient explaining and troubleshooting the issue I was having with my breaks, tires, and smoke coming from my exhaust. He was a straight shooter about pricing and what would be best with the age of my car and my financial situation of being a single mom. Pricing was more than fair and he kept communication open the entire time. I recommend 100%
This place is GREAT!!! Any bad review listed here is not the fault of Anthony’s Towing and Collision. No way Anthony would mistreat anyone. He was professional, generous and beyond accommodating. Very few people I have interacted with are as honest as him. We were traveling from several states away (Michigan) when we broke down. He saved us from being stranded on the left side of the highway, worked long hours to repair our vehicle and even drove us most of the way home to a pick up point to get us home when our vehicle wasn’t finished. Class act all the way. If you can’t trust this guy, you can’t trust anyone.
This place is a complete scam. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Unless you want to pay whatever price they decide they want to charge you that day with zero transparency then do not bother calling. We needed a tow and they charged $250 and refused to take the car to the car place we needed it to go. Instead, they took it to their place and told us if we wanted the car fixed it would be another $1000 for a job that at most a real car place would charge at most $500 for. We decided to have the car towed by someone else to our actual car place. The tow guy from the other place apologized to us on Anthony’s Towing’s behalf because it was clear to him they were scamming us. Anthony’s towing never mentioned a storage fee then decided to charge us $85+/day, which is WAY more than most places IF they even have a storage fee. Lastly, when we arrived to pick up the car, they stated their credit card machine was broken so we’d have to pay in cash. Luckily I was able to drive to a bank and had cash available, otherwise they would’ve kept my car and charged me more fees when it was THEIR problem the card machine was broken. They had the other tow guy blocked in with my car and refused to let him leave until we had cash in hand. I would absolutely never recommend Anthony’s Towing to anyone. Transparency and kindness go a long way, Anthony’s Towing has neither of those qualities.
