We had a truck with a possible airbag leaking on the trailer needing repairs on Friday night at 11pm. I called and requested their help, they informed me that they don't have the airbag in stock (I gave them the part number) but they cab check to see if they can temporarily fix the issue so we can at least move the truck and trailer to a repair shop that would have it in stock. They told us the ETA of the mechanic was in 90 minutes and listed all their charges. The mechanic showed up, confirmed that the airbag was bad, and was able to isolate the airbag so that we can continue to a TA that had the airbag in stock and fix it there. It was not cheap, but it was fair, in line with the charges listed by phone, and the mechanic was knowledgeable. After speaking with him on the phone I was confident he knows what he's doing. We'll use this company again in the future when in the area if we'll need road side help.
I want to thank the wonderful people at McGann & Chester, especially Kacie, for taking such good care of me. I recently had an accident, from which they towed my car. They have been truly lovely to work with, not only professionally, but also with such kindness and humanity during a REALLY difficult time. They really went above and beyond.

My husband and I had an outstanding experience with McGann & Chester towing yesterday! From the moment we called their customer service, Rob, was friendly, professional, and reassuring. The driver, Chuck, arrived quickly, handled our vehicle with great care, and made the whole process stress-free. A McGann & Chester employee who was in the area, Ryan, heard the call and stopped by to ensure that the dangerous area we broke down at was secured from passing traffic. Huge shoutout to Ed. Truck died at a rest area and Ed made sure he got me back on the road. Originally we thought the truck would need a boost off, but he later found out that one of my batteries had a bad cell. He ended up swapping all my batteries out with all brand new batteries and I haven’t had any issues since. So again huge thanks to Ed for getting me back rolling and I would highly recommend these guys if you’re ever in need assistance.
Chris came out to fix my trailer when the landing gear wouldn’t go up. Everyone had told me it was likely going to need a full replacement, and at first, Chris thought the same. But instead of giving up, he said he wanted to check a few more things. He kept working, and eventually, he got the landing gear up and functioning, allowing me to leave with my load.
That meant a lot to me—because now I can keep moving and making money. He could have just collected the fee for showing up and left, especially on a Friday, but he didn’t. He stayed until the job was done, and I truly appreciate that kind of dedication.
Retrieved my car from the impound. Everyone were very nice. But now my car sounds like they damaged my muffler or exhaust. It wasn't loud like that before it for towed there and also took my key off the key chain. I'm not happy with my car sounding like that at all. I can't afford to take a day off and especially to leave it there, I need my car.
Fast professional service using excellent equipment at a competitive price. Was able to start my truck without flat bedding it which saved me a lot of time and money. Hope I don’t need roadside assistance again but if I do they are now on my speed dial.

If your car is getting impounded because of a parking infraction, let’s hope it’s these guys towing! From start to finish everything was quick and transparent, I had no issues over the phone and getting their address. When arriving all the paper work was handled smoothly and getting my car was no issue. On top of that, I only cared about the condition of my car, it had no damages and they towed it via flat bed since it was equipped with all wheel drive. The drive home I didn’t notice anything out of the sorts. If they have this much care with a strangers car I’m sure if you requested their services you’d be more than pleased.
I can’t say enough good things about this company! They went above and beyond to help our son. The owner personally came out to assist and tried conservative options first which I really appreciated.
They are some of the nicest, most genuine people I’ve ever dealt with, and I am incredibly grateful for their help. A huge shoutout to all - especially to Butch and Billy. Thank you!
Thank you for the thorough and cogent response. I chose this avenue of communication for ease, efficiency and impact. I wanted it to either be seen directly by the city somehow, someone associated with them, or relayed to them. Indeed, most of my review was to provide context. Most importantly, I was seeking acknowledgment that the signage can be poor in some cases. TO REITERATE: THEY NEED A SIGN ON THE LONE KIOSK, TELL THE HOTEL OR VALETS, OR PUT A TEMPORARY LARGE SIGN UP. There is no excuse for this - do they not appreciate all the visitors in that big hotel patronizing the city?! That needs to be fully conveyed to them. Unfortunately, the damage was already done to all of us on Thanksgiving morning, of all times. Once again, I'm leaving the photos intact for reference and I am not responsible for the condition or location of them in order to manipulate the situation.
I was very careful to distinguish that you tow on behalf of them and never assumed you were more than employed by them. I did see your commanding overall 4.5 rating before I wrote it. I also saw the lowest ones too of course. The improvements you have already made to the process clearly are quite beneficial and appreciated. The old way sounds truly rotten and kiosks would be great. I also never assumed anything about the constitution of your character, albeit individually or as a whole. Obviously, it's complicated.
I don't feel the original 1 star was unwarranted because of my brief interaction but more importantly, the one had by the young women after me. At the office and at the hotel they seemed calm, quiet and nice but a little lost and frustrated of course. If there was the unwarranted laughing and derision that they described, that is absolutely disgraceful. She exclaimed "I mean, I'm only 17!" back at the hotel. Nevertheless, you have stated you will follow up and that is that. The towing fee makes sense, thank you.
I did make it back safely, thank you. As always, it's a shame when interactions between otherwise good folks are marred by circumstances beyond or loosely within our control. In your industry, it's clear that it is unfortunately common and I'm truly sorry for the many instances when you have to deal with some true low-lifes that either walk or stumble through the door.
I have adjusted the review. Please have the city do better and I *might* be back. Merry Christmas.

Information about hours that you can actually get your stuff out of your vehicle as well as get your car towed out even thought it's open 24/7. Enclosed are hours and fees as of May 24, 2025. Please note, if you go outside of those hours then you will NOT be able to get your things or get your vehicle towed out. You can drive it out but NOT tow it out outside of those hours. So if your car isn't driveable or you're trying to get your stuff outside of the listed hours then you're wasting your time.
I want to start this review by saying McGann and Chester are the most efficient tow truck service I have ever seen. I was told, 60 to 90 minutes and they were there within 15. Not only was the Service fast, but the Driver Ryan was absolutely a joy to be around. He was kind, and a wonderful person. I couldn't recommend him, and this company more. Absolutely the best towing service hands down. I'd give them 10stars if Google didn't limit you to 5.
Excellent group of people. Professional, courteous, prompt and best prices I've found for recovery and repair so far!! I'm an owner operator who just had to use them yesterday May 5th, 2025 for a tow and if it wasn't for the fact that the part that I believe went bad in my truck was warrantied, I absolutely would've had them perform the repairs. The new shop they advertise that they have is beautiful, big and clean. Hard to beat their hourly labor price as well... lowest I've found to date across the nation.
Their truck just crossed the lanes extremely dangerously with no caution at all inside the liberty tunnel. I know there might be some emergency but this carelessness can cause a fatal accident. This is definitely not a good impression for a towing company. Just because you have a contract with the city that doesn’t mean you have a free pass to break all traffic laws and regulations. I am extremely impressed and grateful for the service I received! The person on the phone was very kind and patient and the two people who moved my car were prompt, polite, professional and efficient. It was the middle of the night and I called FOUR other towing services repeatedly to no avail. THEY WERE THE ONLY ONE WHO ANSWERED AND THEY HAD SOMEOME TO ME IN LESS THAN 30 MINUTES!! What made matters even more urgent was that I was on my way to give a family member their medication!!! I'm shocked at how quickly they came and how polite, non judgmental and understanding they were towards me and my situation. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I'LL DEFINITELY BE RECOMMENDING!!!
Great service! Chase we quick, efficient and great cx service. I would recommend using McGann & Chester towing. He pulled in and had my truck loaded and pulling out in no time. It looks easy but the support bars for my bed on of his truck but the way chase maneuvered his truck and and bed was impressive.
I got my semi truck (bobtail) stuck in the snow in the back of my house about a month ago. It snowed real bad the next day. McGann & Chester came and pulled me out the field. Fast service, great customer service, highly recommend

I happened to be in their neighborhood and my car died in the middle of the road. They took my call at 2:34 and I was home by 3:14. Absolutely the best towing experience ever. Thanks to Ryan who was quick and friendly. Made the experience of getting a tow less painful. Cost was $160 which is not bad considering how quick the response was. Highly recommended!

Today, I brought a classic VW Beetle home. Our driver said he could not drive such a large tow truck on our (somewhat steep) driveway. However, after assessing the situation, he came up with a great solution. He squared the truck up to the driveway, extended and raised the bed, which put the car about 1/3 up the driveway, and loaned us some wheel chocks to hold the car in place while he moved the truck. I was then able to push the Bug up the driveway with my Honda Element.
I wish I had gotten the driver’s name, because he deserves a customer service award for his tenacity and ingenuity. Well done!
I had a great experience with this tow truck service! The pickup time was impressively quick, and the driver David was incredibly helpful and chivalrous. He made this situation much easier to handle. Highly recommend their service for anyone in need!
