As a plumber, nothing ruins your day faster than getting stuck in the snow. One of the plumbers on our team slid into a bad spot and got stuck in an alley leaving a customers house. He had the alley blocked and was struggling big time. Joe and Heather showed up about 9 seconds after I hung up the phone . They safely and professionally had him back on the road in minutes. Big thanks, yinz saved the day.

Our car overheated on the turnpike near Bedford on the hottest Sunday of the year. We got a tow off the turnpike from Interstate Emergency Services, who were great, and towed our car to Town Hill Auto, who were also great. Our 'taxi' back to Pittsburgh with Bedford Transportation was another matter completely and left us momentarily feeling extorted. In trying to get our car back to Pittsburgh I talked with 8 towing companies. Some didn't do towing for our distance, others said wait 3-4 days (by which time we'd be out of the country & stuck with storage fees), others wanted $7/mile plus a rath of incidental fees, others were overpriced, delayed and surly all in one. Joe was a real breath of fresh air. He listened to what we needed, quoted a reasonable price, and offered to pick the car up the next day. I kept trying to pay but he insisted on waiting until the car was delivered. He was good to his word and only after the delivery did I get a call and a charge for exactly the amount we had agreed upon. Breaking down on the turnpike is no one's idea of enjoyment but at that moment of helplessness, the many people who helped us, especially Joe, gave me new faith in my fellow man.
Joe was awesome! He arrived earlier than expected, super helpful and friendly. We pretty much had no idea what to do with our situation but he was super easy to work with and really pleasant. Efficient, easy, would recommend for anyone needing a tow service.
I was just rescued by this wonderful company a few hours ago when my spare tire went flat and my 5 year old son and I were stranded, on the side of the road, half an hour from home. They were extremely easy to work with! Half of my city is currently experiencing power outages from a recent storm so a few places didn't even answer their phone, 1 place could only accept cash payment because their system was still down and 1 other place was going to be several hours but mentioned they preferred if I could wait until morning. This place had the best price, by far, out of all the companies I called! They were willing to take payment via Cash app, venmo, zelle, etc but the driver was nice enough to stop at a gas station to let me withdraw cash anyway. They required very little info, just my car make and model, the type of issue I was experiencing and then they just had me text my location and my destination. He told me someone would be there in an hour but it was less than 30 min. The driver was also very friendly and we actually had some pretty good conversation, so it wasn't awkwardly silent like other experiences I've had in the past, which was a nice bonus to add to this great and painless experience! Highly recommend this company and I will 100% be calling them from now on if I ever need help again!

I understand i might have been in the right place at the right time, but going from my breakdown on 376 to home in 35 minutes is all thanks to these folks. Great rate, top notch service, driver was excellent.
Amazing crew. Customer service was amazing (went out of his way to calm me down from the incident). Put the spare tire on my car on the side of the road in a residential area in record time. What would have made me call off of work left me less than an hour late. Sometimes god works through others and I think an angel had to have been with us this day.
Price: $130 from breakdown point to shop of my choice. Time: Took about an hour from call to arrival. Customer Service: Great communication, friendly, accommodating.
The only criticism I have is the lack of confirmation. They use the following system to request a tow:
Text a given number with your location and car type.
On Stickles side, they track these texts to organize and assign trucks to customers. But, on the customer side, you get no confirmation that your text was received and your tow scheduled unless you *also* call after texting and ask. Waiting 45mins on the side of the road, hoping that your text went through isn't the most comforting situation. I would really like it if they messaged you something like, "Order received," upon receipt of your message.
Cory was super fast and professional! Very reasonably priced and helped me with a lockout after I’d been waiting for hours for roadside assistance and was given longer ETA + more expensive estimates from another local company. Will definitely use Stickles again if I need to!
!!!!Do not look any further than Stickles Towing!!!! After a long weekend in Pittsburgh my family & I started our trip home. Before we even made it to Monroeville my strut/shock assembly came apart. We limped my car to the nearest exit & started researching towing companies. My husband made the first call. After hearing the man on the other line ask for our current city/zip code I told him to hang up. Being from a small town I know the importance of finding someone local. I happened upon Stickles Towing and the very first review was nothing but praise. I called the number & got a voicemail. While leaving a message I received a text message from the same number asking me if I could call back in a few minutes. I replied with my location & destination address which was immediately answered with an eta & EXTREMELY reasonable rate. Not even 20 mins after the text message exchange the tow truck driver, Jude, called me & said he'd be at my location in less than 30mins. He arrived right on time, loaded my car up & made sure we had successfully contacted someone to come get us. He even gave us recommendations on where to go until our family member arrived. My car was safely dropped off at the location requested & I immediately received a phone call from Jude confirming this. As far as I'm concerned, you cannot put a price on this level of service/kindness. Stickles Towing saved us from an extremely stressful situation (we had a tired 9yr old with us) & I cannot thank them enough!! I will recommend them to EVERYONE I know, should they happen to be in a situation like we were. THANK YOU AGAIN Stickles Towing!!!
Really appreciated Stickles Towing. Was out of town and needed a vehicle picked up from an auction and held till we returned. They were able to do this for me no problem and all at a super reasonable price. They also filled up our tires for us before leaving without asking. Great service. My son is a college student in Pittsburgh where his car broke down beyond worth repairing. I was helping coordinate what to do with the car from California. Chris worked with my son's class schedule and kept me informed on what was going on--better than my son! I appreciate his help and communication so very much!
Call them first!! I needed them for a motorcycle tow (on a very tight schedule, my insurance company had me waiting for hours with false time quotes) excellent and prompt service. Most importantly kept close to the time frame quoted and did not get irritated when I called back for an update, in fact he had the driver call me directly. The drivers were approachable, helpful and friendly. I wanted to tip them but they unloaded so fast and was on to their next job! Highly recommend Stickles Towing!
Best pricing in Pittsburgh, about half of what I’ve paid other towing companies. They were very friendly and helpful, plus really quick response time. They completed my job right away, faster than expected. Will definitely call them over anyone else in the future!
So pleased with our service from this company. We had really unfortunate and awfully rude experiences before we finally called Stickles Towing. The car broke down in Ohio and needed to be towed back to Pittsburgh which was an unfortunate time! However, they came and even worked with us on the price. Communication was clear, responsive and respectable. Overall, so pleased with our experience and would recommend them over and over again!
Zack did a thorough job from his initial phone call saying he was on the way, to picking up my car on a flatbed, asking me if I needed anything, and then communicating with me after he dropped the car at the dealership.

Zack and Anthony are very friendly and professional. Our car battery died and we didn’t know how to use the portable jumpstart battery, so we called them over. They arrived in 15 minutes and taught us lots of good knowledge during the service. The cost is reasonable and a lot cheaper than other places. Will definitely use their service again!
They had someone out same day for much less than any other towing companies in the area. Zach (Zack?) I believe was the driver for my tow on a flatbed. He pulled into our angled driveway with ease and had no trouble navigating to the drop-off. He was very polite and helpful the entire time. Would recommend!
I called 5+ towing companies to tow an ambulance for me, the other companies were too busy or were not able to tow it. Stickles came out and got it done like it was easy, including backing it in first try to a super tight driveway, and they charged $100 less than the one other company that attempted to come get it (but was unable to) quoted me. Everyone in the company that I talked to was friendly and professional (Pretty sure it was Joe and Ben). Just look how the owner replies to google reviews, that's a great indicator of the quality of the company. I would definitely used them again if I need another tow. Ben also took a lot of extra time to provide input on repairing the ambulance after I told him my intentions, from walking around and pointing out the lights that needed to be removed to be legal, and giving advice on getting the engine going again after sitting a couple of years.
Car broke down at a gas station in West Mifflin, PA when my husband stopped to grab something to drink on his way home. Stickles Towing was the cheapest price by far, and they had it towed in no time. Would use them again if needed!
They got involved in a domestic verbal agree between my son in law and my daughter. They came on my posted "No trust passing" property and removed my daughter's car, and damaged my property. Of course the driver of the tow truck refuses to take any responsibility in any wrong doing, he even went as far as to say we put the no trust passing sign up after he left.
My experience was awesome! Anthony was great! Same day service, he came in less than an hour. He was sweet and nice and great conversation. The price was VERY reasonable. My overall experience was really good. I recommend him personally. Thanks again Anthony.
