This was the only towing company who would come to the south hills from the east of the city to tow my car that was stuck at the galleria mall in mt. Lebanon. They were very prompt and reasonable . We recommend this towing service to everyone.
Mike is a real-life hero. My boyfriend and I got stuck with a flat tire on a cold night. My boyfriend's jack was not working properly, and we needed some assistance with lifting the car up to be able to change it. Mike came within 20 minutes, was incredibly careful and efficient, and his pricing was more than reasonable. When you are in a jam, Mike is your man.
Excellent service. I had the misfortune to wreck in Oakland. I found this service on Google and called for a tow. Despite the early hour (7am), the driver responded quickly (within 30 minutes). He was friendly and professional, and as a courtesy he took me beyond his regular towing area so I could get my car to the right body shop. I had my 1991 Classic Mustang LX 5.0 manual transmission vehicle towed by MSV Towing and the driver left the car in first gear with the key in the run position. He tow started the car and ruined the engine. Despite the fact that the driver told me that their insurance would cover the repair, I haven't seen a dime and they have refused to provide the name of their insurer to my insurance company.

When my sisters car broke down in Squirrel Hill we called her insurance company. They assured us they were sending a truck 45 min later a truck arived. The driver informed us he would have to leave and send another truck and that would be more money. At this point we began looking for our own tow out of frustration as we told the towing company the car and situation. We found MSV Towing and called. They answered and were bery polite and professional. When the MSV truck arrived the driver skillfully hooked up the car. They had it up and delivered in no time at all. Will call MSV for all towing situations from now one.
I called a few other places before calling MSV, none of them were willing to help since it was a Saturday afternoon however, MSV was more than willing to help me and even made recommendations to ease the situation. They went above and beyond to help me and I am very appreciative of their kindness and excellent costumer service. I will definitely call them first if I need help again!
This company was so helpful. They were "on the scene" in 10 minutes, after we'd spent 45 minutes on the phone trying to reach a company in the area to no avail. I called MSV when my car battery died. Mike arrived within 20 minutes to give me a jump. He was professional and friendly. Later that day, my battery died again (my fault, not his), and he returned promptly, jumped it again, and did not charge me for the second call. Excellent service!
MSV Towing saved the day for me!!! I have free roadside assistance which came with my car. I slid off the side of a steep hill on some ice and was stuck. I attempted to use the roadside assistance service which was a huge mistake. They sent a towing company which I never heard of, they were supposed to arrive within an hour. They showed up 2 hours later. They also showed up with a flatbed, my car is only to be used with a wheel harness, which you would think your car manufacturers roadside assistance would be sure of before they try to help you. Needless to say, after waiting for 2 hours, then another 20 minutes after they showed up, the guy tells me he can't tow me because they don't have a wheel harness towtruck running at the time. I called Mike at MSV Towing, he assured me he'd be there in 15 minutes, and he arrived in 15 minutes. He was very careful not to damage my car and had me pulled back onto the road in no time at all. His rate is very reasonable, and I would pay him in a heartbeat before I try to use the "free" roadside assistance in the future. If your in a jam, don't call roadside assistance, call MSV Towing, you'll be glad you did.

After getting into an accident Mike showed up out of no where. At first this seem a little weird, but after talking with him several minuets he made me feel very confident that Mike knew his stuff. He referred me to a local body shop. It took about two weeks for the vehicle to be repaired. Mike delivered the car when it was done. MSV Towing is truly a professional. Will never use another company while I.m in Pittsburgh.
I called MSV Towing to have my car towed. When Mike politely asked what the problem was I told him that my rear tires on my Hyundai Elantra would not move when I tried to drive. Mike gave me advise to drive the care very carefully forward then backward to get the wheels moving and it worked. He then explained what the issue was and why it happened.

I got into a pretty bad accident on 376 this week and was really upset, scared, and well yeah know, I got into an accident! Anyways, I just looked up the closest towing place(I knew they did stuff by the mile) and called them. Mike seriously was the nicest guy, like the whole scenario was really upsetting but his positive friendly attitude made it a lot better. He joked around with me on the phone and was very straight foward. "It'll be no more than $140, and I'll be there in about 40 minutes". He showed up in less than 30 minutes (despite all of the traffic I caused taking up a lane) and it only costed me $125. He was super friendly, loaded my car up, and took it to my place, and unloaded it. We were all actually amazed at how easy he did it to. Like seriously, I hope I don't need another tower again but if I do, I would definitly call Mike.
After driving from Bridgeport, OH, a few blocks away from UPMC Shadyside, where my friend was to have surgery, the car sputtered and stopped at an intersection. Police arrived to assist us and a tow truck just happened by. It was MSV Towing and the driver, Michael, asked if he could help. After relating the whole situation to him, he and the officer worked together to come up with a plan to make sure that my friend and I, as well as the car, were safe. They also reassured us that they would see to it that my friend made it to the hospital for her surgery. Michael also offered to pick us up from the hospital and take us to the garage that he recommends whenever she was discharged.

First let me set the record straight for all of the "Haters" out there, MSV Towing has been nothing but an upstanding business since they day it was created. Mike from MSV Towing has been in the towing business for over 15 years and has seen exactly what not to do in this business. He has dedicated his life to making this a fair and honest business, of which other towing companies should emulate. The last time I was in need of a tow I called MSV Towing for help and he was there within a half hour, which for most of us this is practically unheard of. He towed my car to the to where I wanted him, there were no questions and he did not try to talk me into anything different. His truck was surprisingly clean and he was well kept, unlike your stereotypical tow truck driver. I know a lot of tow truck drivers and have dealt with a lot of creeps in my life, MSV Towing has definitely set the standard to which all other towing companies should strive to be more like. I would recommend MSV Towing to anyone who does not want to be treated like an idiot and be bullied into taking their car that somewhere they are uncomfortable with, as we all know most companies will do.
So I broke down in down town Pittsburgh. I called MSV towing due to the great reviews. Who answered priced me outrageously saying otherwise (I) its not worth his time. I said OK, I was panicked to get my car fixed.
Then the ride. A big black tow truck arrived and hooked up to my car. When I got in the truck it wreaked of cigarettes and cleaning products. In-between this guy non-stop chain smoking a million cigarettes (which i am allergic to) he is going on and on ranting about changing towing in Pittsburgh. I could not breathe. I tried to roll my window down FOUR times, he allowed this for two seconds and would roll it back up Every Time without saying a word.!! I was dyeing and i could not breathe right for days.
After thirty minutes I was freaked out this guy would not stop desperately ranting about being a good guy and changing towing in Pittsburgh. And trash talking all the other towing companies in Pittsburgh he knows personally and that their all scumbags and drug addicts.
I was freaked out. I asked if I could pay with cash and said I didnt need a receipt ( i didnt want this guy to know where I live, it was Obvious he was an emotional basket case or on something or both) I gave a familiar location to drop my car near, not at my home.
Later that day I described my experience to a friend and was told that smell was crack or meth and what I described having seen as a crack or dope pipe in the center console in his tow truck. It all made sense when he pleaded and begged me for a review online and even tried to bribe me with a discount!! It was pitiful so I said I would to get him to stop.
I would never call these guys again or suggest them to anyone unless they would enjoy that kind of behavior. I say if he wants to change towing in Pittsburgh maybe he should quit towing in Pittsburgh.
Mike from MSV Towing Service is a very compassionate business owner. When I had to have my car towed, Mike was very respectful and helpful. He offered to assist me with transportation. He is very reasonable and went out of his way to help. I would recommend his services to anyone and everyone. I cannot say that I have ever met anyone more passionate about what he does and being a respectable business owner. I know who to call in the future if I'm ever broken down or in an accident.

Mike and MSV towing were lifesavers for me. I had totaled my car--never having been in an accident before--and Mike kindly walked me through the whole process. Having MSV towing there immediately after my accident made the process completely painless for me. Within an hour of my accident, my car was towed to a body shop, a police report had been written, and I had gotten a safe ride home with MSV. On top of all that, Mike offered to give me a ride to pick up my rental car early the next morning since I had no way of getting there. Mike and MSV towing are no joke when they say they're "all about customer service"! I could not have hoped for a better experience and will absolutely be using their services in the future!

MIke with MSV was professional and courteous. After checking around, I found his towing prices are as low as anyone in the area. His service was excellent. Very personable and helpful. It's no fun having to get towed, but Mike makes it as painless as possible.
I needed assistance changing a flat tire so I did a quick google search. The first place...no answer. The second... rude answer. But like they say, third time is a charm! Mike at MSV was so nice.
