I had to bring my car in for service after the check engine light came on. I was using a warranty and Firestone was really great with helping me deal with it. It was several phone calls with the warranty company and Firestone was so patient with it, helping in any way that they can. Not only were they (specifically Tim) great with the warranty help but also quick to fix my car.
So I walked in there because my carvana account says that they will work on my car with the warranty cool I schedule an appointment under “other” I walk in NOONE greats me I walk to the counter this old white man asks if I have an appointment I say yes give him my info he goes “ ok you need a state inspection “ I say yes and I received an error code on my dash he goes “ oh we don’t do that here “ I say ok then you can just inspect the car he asks for my registration and insurance I said my insurance card. Was on my phone he goes “ well I need it in person so idk what to tell you “ i politely grabbed my keys and proceeded to the door he yell across the room “ whelp sorry about that have a nice day” now keep in mind this was my first time here and I’ll never be back the passive aggressive comments and the lack of customer service was unreal ! On the website it says have your insurance card present present and printed are two different things and he could of easily said oh we can print it for you for a fee or oh I can push your appointment back while you go get it printed he offered no help no compassion or a solution!
Really bad customer service, there was a complete lack of professionalism, they didn't solve the problem, and yet they still wanted me to pay the full amount of money as if they had actually fixed it.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I had an appointment service appointment with Firestone by the mall and it turned out to be a complete nightmare. The store manager Tim was very nonchalant and not an example of a leader when he let his technician Andrew damage my vehicle instead of stating that they couldn’t complete the job. It’s pure greed. This nightmare has caused me so much money and my vehicle still isn’t repaired. Please save yourself the time, money, and frustration. Take your vehicle to individuals that actually care and know what they are doing. Firestone customer service line is horrible as well. I’ve been trying to get my issues resolved for months and individuals from their team have ignored me. John Tumey is his name.
Left a note for the shop detailing alignment issues I needed corrected. My assigned technician Andrew took care of everything perfectly and left a very courteous response to my note. Greatly appreciate the effort and dedication to a well-done job. Thank you
A different Firestone messed up my oil change and broke my oil cap causing oil to leak everywhere. I came to this Firestone and they checked but couldn’t find anything and I explained again and they rechecked everything, degreased the engine and put dye in the oil to find the leak and once they found it they ordered a new part to arrive that day to fix it for me along with not charging me and having me take a video so the other Firestone could reimburse me. Definitely will be going back if I have any problems with my car they were so great
I am very pleased with the staff at Firestone. My service was complete in a very timely manner. My service tech, was very knowledgeable of the services and kept me informed.
Highly recommend Tony down at Firestone by the Monroeville Mall had my car in and out for an inspection on a fly, felt like I didn’t even need to sit down in the waiting room. Thanks guys for the help!

The people at Firestone are either incompetent or are trying to take advantage of you. I went there for a car inspection and they said that my bumper reinforcement needed replaced. That was the only thing they addressed for me to pass inspection. I find someone else to take care of the bumper for me, however, they addressed other things that are extremely important for a car to have taken care of that Firestone didn't let me know about. First of all, my motor mount was completely rusted and could fall off if not handled soon, and my gasket for the cadillac converter needs replaced, and again, they didn't mention it. They just wanted $700 for a rusted bumper reinforcement and gave me a list of other recommendations that weren't necessary for inspection. Just be mindful before you go there.
I had a problem with tires that I bought there 2 years ago I talked to Tim he checked them out he said I could get new tires and he would prorate the old ones. Tim gave me a great deal on new tires and front end alignment.
Overall, the service was fine. The guys provided great customer service. And I made my appointment online the night before, and they were finished with the car earlier than expected.
This is the second time I’ve had to take my car elsewhere to fix an issue Firestone was supposed to fix properly. Luckily it can be fixed but it’s costing me more money when Firestone was trusted to do the job properly. Makes me not want to come here anymore for my oil changes or tires.
Had a very good experience! My car needed to be aligned and I have the lifetime alignment through Firestone. The store I usually use could not fit me in for a stay-in-store appointment for 1.5 weeks. These guys were able to schedule me today. Started on my car within a few minutes of my appointment and were done in about 40 minutes with aligning and rotating the tires. Drove it home and was amazed at what a great job they did! Many thanks to Joe and the rest of the crew for taking care of my car.
Update! Decided to get my cars inspected here today. They fit in both cars and checked the assignment. Just like last time the crew did a very good and efficient job. I always check the lug nut torque to make sure it's factory spec, which is only 76 ft-lbs for my cars. Usually (at other shops) the lug nuts are unevenly overly tightened, which leads to disc rotor warping. All of the lug nuts were evenly towels and felt close to spec. Thank you for making the extra effort to do that simple job correctly!
I’d say Josh the younger service writer was very engaged and had great communication and attitude toward the customers, he has great work ethic saw him even start to clean the shops front windows plus the estimate time for my cars service was correct, decent prices.
So I pulled into my driveway after a long 10 hour day at work and noticed my truck had leaked engine coolant all over my driveway.
I began to panic and realize that this was a pretty big problem and that I would need a more specialized kind of mechanic to fix this issue.
Luckily the guys at Firestone were able to get me in the next morning, diagnose the issue and fix it lighting fast!
Everyone from Tim to Joe were nothing but nice and professional every step of the way.
I had my truck back, fixed and on my way the next day....so thankful for the crew at Firestone Monroeville.

Everytime they work on my car something else goes wrong. I think they just want to get more money out of you and they're already really really expensive for no apparent reason!Now my car is stalling after they did my oil change . Im so scared something else is now wrong
When I tell you I had the best experience here. Mr. Joe was kind honest and respectful from the time I called to the time I walked out with my keys. I told him what was going on and what experience I had with a previous place that I told him in a 5 minute rant lol. This wonderful man told me to take care of my mom and he’ll take care of my car. That really stuck with me because he cares. You can tell he’s a father grandfather son brother ! The service I received was excellent and prompt. Vic was also very nice to me when I came in to pick up my car also! They actually care about the customers and also making sure your vehicle is safe to drive ! When I first dropped my car off. Mr. Joe walked up to an older lady trying to get her insurance out for inspection. He asked her did she need any help and told her she didn’t have to fiddle through her purse he’d take what she had and he’ll be able to look it up. Yes it may not be a big deal to you but to me it was. He is really a great guy with great customer service and respect! I’m kicking myself for not coming here in the first place but you guys have a customer for life !!
I’ve been coming to Firestone for over 20 years. I trust them implicitly. They do the work I ask for and if there’s a problem, they inform before moving on. My car is done on time and the bill is what they say it will be.
Wonderful, friendly service. Despite being a busy Sunday, my inspection and emissions were completed in less than the projected 2-hour wait time. I'll definitely go back.
Skip the warranty or read it carefully. They only cover your tires based on how worn down they are. My tires were almost bald after a year, undrivable in the snow, and I was well with in the warranty mileage. I would have to pay almost full for a new set of tires here. There's better places to go for cheaper
Firestone behind the Monroeville mall is our “Go to” place for all our car maintenance/repair needs. They are easy to make appointments in a timely manner, all the staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. Work is done right the first time and they keep you updated during the work if something is found that needs attention but they do not try to upsale you.
I needed a new tire after getting a bolt stuck in one of my 3 months old set of new tires. I have tires on my Jeep Wrangler that no other store had in stock except this Monroeville store. I was able to go there without an appointment, no wait and had a new tire put on in less than a hour and was back on the road again. Thank you!
I'm very disappointed by Firestone's prices and the likelihood of them trying to get me to get more work done that didn't need to be done. I got my car towed there to get my spark plugs and coils replaced and the numbers they presented me to get it fixed seemed way inflated. After showing my bill to the mechanic friends I know they agreed that some of the prices were 2 to 3 times more than what they should have been. One example is they charged me $191.99 for one coil and when I looked up that exact coil online it cost $60. Another thing my mechanic friend pointed out when they looked at my estimated bill from Firestone was that the other things they were trying to get me to get done didn't seem necessary. I've used Firestone as my soul mechanic for the last 9 years and I could tell the prices were going up over time but getting an estimated bill for $3,700 was my breaking point! I did have to get my spark plugs replaced by them and a couple other things before I could drive my car, but I will be taking it elsewhere to see what they think really needs to be done to it. Definitely just spent way more money than I would have somewhere else.
I will say that the people there have always treated me nicely and I've always had great customer service there but I no longer trust them to ever work on my car again.
Couldn’t explain the cost differences to my wife when she took my truck in for an alignment and tire rotation.
They charged us 18+ for “Shop Supplies” for my truck. To do an alignment and tire rotation. I don’t know any mechanic shop or mechanic that charges shop supplies for an alignment and rotation outside of this store. And then they also added a “steering wheel recalibration” which my truck didn’t need for an additional 20.
So by the end of the day they padded the bill an extra 39 or so. I had to call and get a copy of the receipt. Careful when trusting these guys with your vehicle.
My car was released without my permission to dealership with whom I paid my monthly payments to every month without my permission . Causing an illegal act on both parts. I am seeking legal actions. I was not returning the vehicle. I need it repaired, and if Firestone couldn't repair it, I was sending it to another mechanic whom I had already purchased y pipe and catalytic converter and this mechanic was going to make repairs.
