Kind of annoyed after leaving. They are friendly and thought I was going to get a good amount for the crazy amount of aluminum, wheel, alternators and starters I had in my LOADED bed 400 pounds all together and got a whole 63$.. did some research and found out d&d was actually giving double what they paid per pound. Sometimes convenience isn’t worth it.
I’m not sure they are on the up & up. I also got a phone price but when I traded my scrap the price changed.
It’s an easy transaction but make sure you write down the price and a name before you go. Seemed to me that prices were different from each employee.
I called prior to arriving asking the price of number 1 Copper I was told it was $2.60 I arrived put on scale some man named Gumby bring me up put 2.15$ on slip and played stupid place is full of people that try to scheme you stay away
First time recycling scrap and these guys were nice to deal with. Hammer and Caesar were who I dealt with, and they both offered suggestions and answered all my questions. I don't know enough to judge their pricing for various metals, so look to others for that information. They do NOT accept steel, so be aware of that before you cart it all down there. Overall I would recommend using these guys.
