Great place to recycle all of your amazon boxes! They accept residential cardboard (also metal, paper, books, etc). They do not pay for cardboard, but I was just happy to get rid of all the boxes. Simple check in at the office, drive around the back to a warehouse and unload it yourself. Be careful driving around there the road can have sharp objects as there is metal all around. I think it punctured one of my tires.
Pitt Penn Recycling has a very polite and friendly staff. They have a scale large enough to weigh large trucks. Even though I was not delivered scrap they allowed me to weigh my moving truck. Great people who helped me out when nobody else would!

I recently lost my job and have been freaking out about the small day to day purchases I’m used to making and all of a sudden I can’t. Luckily, Pitt Penn Recycling is right across the street from my apartment and they are so friendly and honest and paid top dollar for metal, aluminum, old electrical cords etc.

This place is amazing. Honest people and company. Good prices for everything they take. A few months ago they gave me a pretty cool shirt for no reason. Today I took my son with me inside to see if he could get one, and they gave us both 1. Great place, people, and company. Way better than getting ripped off down the road. Do not waste your time or get screwed by different scrap buyers. This is the place to go and get honesty and good return on your efforts.
I've only been there a handful of times so far, but I'm always treated great. Nice people to deal with, good honest prices and most importantly accurate weights. I have to go a little farther to get there, but it's definitely worth it.
