Walked into the store and met with immediate attitude from the one employee. Was not helpful at all, left directly after and went to autozone. A lot better experience there.
In and out real quick. The store associate was real helpful and pleasant. It was a bit pricey but that is to be expected at a brick and mortar. All in all a pleasant experience.
Update: beware using the app. It will tell you that the item is a perfect fit for your vehicle, but then will absolutely not be. For instance, I purchased headlights for my 2019 GMC Acadia, and the app stated that this was a perfect fit. Once I completed the online purchase I picked it up in store. The important thing to remember here is with headlights, keep the package sealed until you examine the headlight that are currently in your car. I did this and realized it was not the correct one. This leads to my second complaint about the app. When you return something to the store that you bought on said app they cannot do a straight up exchange. The best option is to return the item, while paying out of pocket (again) for the correct item. I've never had an issue getting a refund, but this may pose a problem for some as not everyone will be able to buy the item twice essentially. I know this isn't the only business to operate this way, but I wish they would streamline things as far as exchanges go.
If it was at all to do negative starts I would. I went in this morning said good morning this man was the dryest person I have ever encountered in this store. I said I was looking for a garage door opener battery, he nodded and said they are on the display under the other register. I then said I do not know what type of batter to get, he then said I don't know either and kept leaning against his register doing nothing. It was like I was bothering him and he was irritated that I was even in the store. I have always had the employees assist me but today not at all. Needless to say I left I will go where I can get help and be appreciated where I'm spending my money.
The guy sent me away without checking to see why my service engine light was on, simply told me to go get a oil change so I went to O'Reilly to find out my transmission is going bad, instead of the worker scanning my reader he sent me out the door
Went to return an item that wasn’t working as it should. It was 6pm. The man at the register refuses to give me a refund even though I had my receipt and the item was in working condition. He wanted to give me a gift card because it wasn’t purchased at that location.. i told him I didn’t want a gift card and the location shouldn’t matter. I paid cash. He told me he didn’t have $45 in the register to give me a refund. Personally I think the person didn’t want to deal with me because of other reasons, such as the skin color of the person I was with. I wouldn’t advise anyone to use the place in you are pale skinned.
Mike one of the parts guys really knows his stuff. Helped me out a lot to make sure I got the right parts. I talked to other guys also when Mike wasn't their and they knew their stuff also.
Ordered rear sway bar for a Nissan Altima and you sent sway bar for a ford windstar had to return at the store, and pay twice as much for parts I needed because auto was in shop being worked on
Exchanging an item.... Melissa S. was so helpful and pleasant. She took her time checking prices for me and making sure I had the correct item. Good customer service!
Always get a fair deal on parts. Website offers major discounts on all goods. Honestly, so far they’ve beaten all competitors on anything purchased on the website.
The guys working there were extremely helpful, and even helped me to figure out what was wrong with the electrical grounding issues with my car. I won't deal with any other stores thanks to their help.
The gentleman at the desk was helpful, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. I found what I wanted, in no small part thanks to his help. Very refreshing experience, especially after dealing with some of the worst staff at another car parts store nearby earlier. I wouldn't tell you where not to go, but I will tell you that this place is definitely a good choice.
The girl at the counter told me "we dont carry that part" she didnt even look it up or new what i had (blower motor), unbelievable. Her co-worker was in the parking lot test driving a motorcycle he was looking to buy. Pissed i left went to autozone they had the part and new the name, it was a hard find but they did everything they could to assist me,Now Thats Customer service. I wont ever bother with advance in Boston,pa ever again the place is a joke
