This place is Amazing! Great wood, great prices. Lots of used doors and windows plus new doors and windows. Great for anyone doing their own projects or looking to create a rustic look.

I have a problem and it’s that I LOVE this place too much. BMR has everything a builder could want, great materials, great service and people who know their stuff. I grabbed what I needed here and built a giant pumpkin guy for Halloween that turned out awesome. If you like projects, if you like creating, if you like having the right supplies on hand, this is the place to go. Support local and get it done with BMR!

Didn't need anything, happened to have some work being done on my car that day. Sometimes they have some off the wall interesting stuff. But nothing I needed today.

The team here does an amazing job. They are always busy so sometimes you may have to wait for help, but it is worth it. They handle custom work including jambs, door sizes, and cuts, and they can also provide brand new materials if needed. My house is from the 1930s with a lot of character and they were incredibly helpful in getting everything just right. They even have videos to guide you on taking perfect measurements. I gave them my details and the cuts came out flawless with the hinges lined up exactly. Clayton, Olivia and Andrew helped me and they are true assets to the team. Check this place first.

Fantastic source for lumber and home repairing jobs, bit of a drive for my needs but have great prices.

This is a fun place to visit and you can find some really good deals. They have a huge selection of miscellaneous lumber, but not many 4x8 sheets. GREAT deal on screws of many sizes right across from the register - most of them less than half of what you would pay at the big stores. Good selection of doors. Staff is friendly and helpful. Worth a visit!

CUSTOM WINDOWS AND AWESOME PRICES ON WOOD- I don't often take time to write reviews, but I have had such a fantastic experience with BMR and their sales team, I needed to share it. Dawn, who does custom window quotes, is one of the most helpful salespeople I have worked with in a very very long time. I cannot say enough times how much I appreciate BMR. In a world where it's getting harder and harder to get someone on the phone, ask simple questions, get real human HELP, BMR are such a welcome breath of fresh air. Also, their prices are absolutely unbeatable!!!

This place puts the big boxes to shame After years of dealing with warped boards and elusive retail employees at the chain stores, I found this place by chance and it is awesome… What struck me first was the atmosphere - it just feels like a working lumber yard with active workers and equipment. No fluorescent mega-aisles or marketing. Just an efficiently used indoor space and a surprisingly large yard. Their selection hits a sweet spot. They carry all the standard construction-grade stuff but also have a surprising variety of specialty woods that I'd normally have to order online or stumble across online and hope for the best. They have a lot of doors. Next time you need a door, go here first. The staff know their stuff and gave informed and accurate suggestions. They even pointed me to another local lumber yard when they didn’t carry a larger than usual size board I was looking for! The quality is noticeably better. The lumber is straighter, drier, and I'm not digging through trash lumber stacks to find the ocassional useable board. Best part? Despite the higher quality, their prices match or beat the big stores on almost everything I've purchased. I expected to pay more for better materials and service, but I'm actually saving money. It’s a place run by heart too, the place is well loved. You can see it in their organization, the hand written signs and price tags, the creative uses of space, and the reminder that this place is how local businesses were before the big box stores existed. They might not have everything that the nationwide stores have but they have EVERYTHING the big box stores don’t have.

BMR stands behind the new products that they sell. We bought a door handle kit a couple of years ago and the handle snapped off less than a year after we originally purchased the product. Even though it would take me another year till I could get back to BMR to talk about a replacement handle, they immediately took it upon themselves to work with the manufacturer and have them ship us a replacement within a few days. At the end of the day, I put the handle on wrong, but BMR stood behind the products that they display in their store. We love this place.

Love this place! It a little ways from home, but they have so many items we are using for our remodel! Even finding things that are unique and inspiring to building other fun stuff!

I generally love this place and the woman behind the counter today was very helpful and could not have been better. The man out in the lumberyard though, while friendly and helpful, was condescending and just downright obnoxious. Actually had the audacity to tell me that maybe “my husband” could build something for me, and told me I’d need a vehicle that could haul lumber, when I had driven my truck, of course, since I’m actually not an idiot. I told him how many boards I needed but he insisted on figuring it out himself, which he did wrong, trying to sell me twice as many boards as I actually needed. ? He also had the nerve to repeatedly yell at my dogs for looking at the chipmunks that were everywhere. Don’t yell at my dogs who are standing calmly by my side, leashed. And why would they listen to a complete stranger? Unpleasant. I am a landscape contractor, I’ve run a farm for 20 years, and have renovated 3 properties on my own, I just happen to be female. I got a good deal but I’m not sure it was worth dealing with the sexist nonsense. It’s 2024, for Pete’s sake! Try treating all your customers with respect.

I've been coming here for years. I've built beautiful things with the products from BMR. The service is excellent and they're always helpful and friendly. Check in often because some things are amazing buys and naturally don't last long!

You'll not only find fantastic deals but also experience great service. One standout employee, Olivia, consistently goes the extra mile. Olivia's assistance goes beyond merely answering questions; she excels in sharing her knowledge and truly understanding the customer's needs.

I like this place! The owners and employees are very friendly, and pricing is very good. I always find a bargain or two when I go in there!!

Some of the stuff you can get a pretty good deal on if you look hard enough, but nothing like it used to be. Doesn't have the small town community friendly vibe anymore. Most of their products are donated or purchased for pennies on the dollar, but those saving are no longer passed on to the customer. Slightly cheaper than home Depot but with no warranty or returns, a fraction of the selection, unorganized rotating inventory, and employees seem to be more concerned about whats on their phone or socializing amongst themselves to help you find anything.

Great selection of old and new. Decent prices. Lots of uncommon species of lumber. I went for a slab to make a mantel and they had a decent selection. Prices were a tad high but still acceptable. Staff were super friendly and helpful. It was clean and well organized.

These guys are amazing! They are super friendly, helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend them for doors, trim, and small little sundries. The pricing is amazing, and Anthony is just the most genuinely helpful person. Been there twice, and both visits far exceeded my expectations. Will always stop here first!

Lots of doors and other miscellaneous building resources especially lumber products. Prices were descent...not incredible on some items and outstanding on others. It is worth the trip to see their current inventory and pricing.
