They were very helpful and got the part we needed within a few days and installed it with no extra charge. We found this part at Hillsboro Auto Wrecking for half of the price we were quoted everywhere else we called.
Went to sell my old ford focus and they were friendly, gave me a fair price, and the transaction was quick and easy. Would absolutely use them again. Great place.
Needed a part shipped out to me since i could not find one locally where i live. Spoke with them on the phone and got it shipped really fast. Part was exactly as described over the phone and a fair price also they went above and beyond to make sure all pieces were there and packaged well.
Was considering buying a home on the other side of the fence from this business, but after reading recent reviews, I unfortunately had my fears confirmed that the owners and/or employees do not respect their residential neighbors, using the business as a junkyard playground after closing hours, late into the evenings.
It is a shame, and hopefully the situation is quickly corrected in favor of the mental and economic well-being of the community.
Maybe they’ll shape up or ship out. Until then, I do not recommend supporting such a disorderly business.
Car tow $330, storage $40 per day, plus $225 lien fee, reqired by Oregon, price seems high. Not super friendly front office. Next time I would tow car with AAA to my driveway and put tarp on it.
Purchased a jeep renegade seat belt out of Washington.
The parts puller or owner not sure who it was said he wanted to verify condition before doing the sale and to give him a fee hours.
I was like yeah sure he will never call back.
But to my SUPRISE HE DID
Before he said he would too and he told me the seat belt was good and took payment.
I just received the belt today super fast shipping.

They are impolite, they rarely have parts I need. All of the counter people I have dealt with are know-it- alls and very condescending. I will not bother wasting my time with this company again. And for a junk yard way over priced. Better to just buy new.
I needed a mirror and called them in advance and when I got there it was ready. The mirror was little expensive for a used part compared to a new one. My experience was good and will shop here again if I need to.
Absolutely wonderful to work with this company, great staff that is friendly and picked up the phone every time. Shipping was incredibly fast and affordable. When I forgot to ask them to include pigtails they sent them out after the axle was received at no extra cost. Would love to work with this company again.
I like these guys a lot. Prices are the best I've encountered. The lobby is very clean and the back must be organized because I never have to wait long for a part.
When I bought a hood the tech pointed out all the highspots and defects so I could make an informed decision.
Very helpful and knowledgeable. A bit out of the way from me out in gresham but these guys know there stuff. When I arrived I was taken out to see my part before purchasing it. They then brought the part out to my vehicle and also suggested some additional details on reinstalling. Great group they got there and the cutest little puppy in the office. Great customer service, great prices. Worked to find what I wanted in inventory, sold it to me for a much better price than any other salvage, and shipped it at a much more reasonable rate than anyone else. The staff was courteous, prompt, efficient and extremely intelligent. I will definitely use them again.
Had not very good experience with them. Online we talk about one price but when I came in after 1 hour one way drive they said different price. Won’t have business with them again.
Good experiences in the early 1980's and even better now nearly 40 years later. Saved me the catch as catch can at the u-pull-its with all the travel and traffic and 'do I have the tools I need to remove the parts' with me hassle. They literally had ALL the parts I was looking for today. Amazing.
I'm a true novice at car repair and a woman, but they treated me with respect. The experts behind the counter did all they could to help with my truck. I learned somethings and got the part I needed. They had to pull the part but they gave it priority since I as waiting. Great customer service.
I called this yard up and inquired about a right door for my jeep, was then told they had what I needed for $150 (04 Jeep Liberty Right front door with everything but the interior paneling) and will take it off and have it ready after other orders: which was to be a 2 hour wait. After telling them I was driving for 2 hours to get there, they said It'll be a priority of theirs.
20 MINUTES LATER.... This yard called back and told me the door was ready. About 1 hour and 40 minutes later and $150 less in my wallet. I was a happy and satisfied customer.
Had a problem with the heater/air conditioning control unit on my truck. They had there. They pulled the unit out. Since I had tried a brand new unit before without luck, they were willing to let me try it in my truck. Sadly the part did not work, but the people there were the best!
Very friendly, helpful and best of all, these guys are 100% honest. The pricing is very fair and they have a really nice dig that will greet you. Highly recommend. Very professional.
We have gone to Hillsboro Auto Wrecking a number of times to buy wiper motors for Halloween props. Every time they have treated us great, despite the fact that we really aren't their target consumer. My guess is that people looking to fix their vehicles will get the same kind of excellent service.
I made a Purchase Sunday night for a truck fender and they Canceled it immediately Monday morning because I am not in their zip code. I have purchased many parts online from a lot of places that were Local Pickup and had a trucking company go get it which is very much the way things get done these days. I had a Motorcycle Accident years back with both legs crushed and my Back messed up preventing me driving several states away so I begged the guy to work something out for me. They Canceled my Purchase of the Truck Fender and told me they wanted to keep the part because they didn't want to put the part on a shipping truck, I even told him I would insure it and he said NO.
I don't know what I did to these guys other than try my best to be a customer...but they were being picky using the Local Pickup line just because I am down South and cannot drive because of a Handicap. Yes ... Seemed nice on the phone but the reason they canceled the order was ridiculous. I tried to reason with the guy over the phone because I cannot drive that far but he wouldn't even listen to me as he had his mind made up and they canceled my purchase. I guess they just want to make people feel bad that have to rely on help from trucking companies to do things for them because of a Handicap. I really felt like these Guys discriminate against people that are handicapped and cannot drive right up to their door. Local Pickup should mean anybody could pick it up to me and has to many others I have purchased from.
