I have never experienced worse customer service in my life. 1. I had never dealt with a salvage yard before, and due to my life situation, I had to “learn the hard way.” From the very beginning, I was treated with bias, as if I was wasting their time — even though I had already waited for a long time. My impression is that nobody in this place knows what they are doing, whether it’s using a computer, finding paperwork, or locating auto parts. 2. I worked with Ryan, and my experience was extremely unpleasant. I ordered seat parts, but when I arrived, they only gave me the seatbelts and told me that the other parts weren’t ready because they needed to be cut out of the body (the mounts where the seats attach). I also found better seats and asked about the price difference — it turned out to be more favorable, so I agreed to wait even longer, despite already having waited a considerable amount of time. They told me they couldn’t use the grinder because of sparks and because they had a fire last year. I politely asked about fire watch and the standard procedures for hot work, and in return I got an attitude of “don’t be smart,” so I patiently agreed to wait. This week they called me and said everything was ready. It had rained for two weeks straight. I naively assumed this meant the entire order: passenger seats, seatbelts, and the floor brackets. But when I arrived, they only gave me the seats. I asked about the rest, and another worker (I don’t know his name) — who clearly knew what was going on — pretended to “forget” and handed me only two seatbelts (even though two passenger benches require at least four). Then he quickly walked away. I spoke with Ryan about the missing order, and he aggressively told me it would be ready “when the time is right.” I politely asked him to at least give me a date and reminded him that last time he had promised they would cut the parts with the grinder if it rained. But now he said they had too many orders. He escalated the situation and, with his “fantastic communication skills,” told me that if I didn’t like it, I could just return everything and get my money back. 3. Conclusion: Once again, I’ve learned it’s better to do everything myself. I don’t blame anyone personally, and maybe for some people this place really is a “Klondike of automotive love.” But for me, it’s a place where you can be humiliated and pushed away so you’ll never come back (and never recommend them to anyone else). I will not recommend this place to my friends — even though I have friends with three Subarus who constantly need parts, and I actually wanted to recommend this yard to them. Maybe my review will be useful for inexperienced people like me, who come with good intentions. Be prepared for your time and your feelings to be thrown into the trash, and for it to take a long time to recover from the experience. If you do decide to use this place, avoid Ryan and go directly to the supervisor, Kelly, who might handle things more professionally — although it’s possible the real problem lies in his overall management system.

Lazy hours and rude employees. They won't let you in if they're closing within an hour no matter what the circumstances.

I had a car that I drove in the demolition derby last weekend, and needed to get rid of it, and they took it. I didn't get any money for it ,but I didn't expect any. The counter person was super understanding and put up with my lack of knowledge of the salvage business. They also buy cars .very happy with my dealing with them.

Needed a sun visor for my van. OEM would have cost me 3x over what it was going for used. B&R was the only place in the US that had it in stock in the correct color to match my vehicle. Ordered online from their website at my offered price, which they accepted. While it took awhile to go cross country, the delivery was smooth. Item came super well wrapped in a giant box. Visor was flaw free and in good condition overall but did come from a vehicle that was probably a smoker. After a quick cleanup with soap and water and an overnight sit in the garbage, it was ready to install. Total replacement job took about 5 minutes with 2 screws and a wiring harness disconnect. Super quick and easy. Highly recommend giving them a try! Please come to the Midwest :)

I can't recommend this place less I ordered a rim for my truck and needed it by a certain date. The order was late also it took them forever to find the paperwork and part(they couldn't locate there own parts) just for them to give me the incorrect part. Very unorganized and I would recommend finding your parts elsewhere. So now I have to go spend double or triple the price because I now am in a rush to get the part.

Fishy, maybe even fraud. Told me they had the engine I needed and once I paid for it, they called me to tell me they couldn't find it on the shelf. But OF COURSE, there was another option FOR MORE MONEY, with MORE MILES, that had coincidentally the same parts broken as the one I had originally ordered (timing cover)... hmm. I said no, unless they were willing to warranty it for 1 year to which they said they couldn't lose money like that. They "found" another option out of another location that was further from me. They said that this one had less miles and they'd do the same price as the original. The catch was that it would take 2-3 additional weeks to get it. I stupidly agreed, just to be called today, almost 2 weeks later, that the engine had no compression. I even told the rep, jordan I believe, that was too many coincidences,something was fishy, he seemed unphased. Almost as if they do this often. Now I'm waiting to get my money back. We'll see if I do, thankfully I can call and report as fraud to my bank.

After a long wait (10 minutes) to get someone to answer on the phone so I could save myself a drive I was quoted $55 for a part that is 10 online or 30 if I wanted to come down and pull it myself probably check eBay motors before you look into this place.

I drove all way from the other side of redmond and got there at 4:30 and was unable to get any help because the yard closes at 4pm. There is nothing saying that on there hours of operation so I waisted more on fuel then that part are worth! Lame

If your in the Bend/Redmond area this is your spot for used car parts! I find it best to just go in person and have them help you find what they are looking for. B&R has a large network and will ship parts from their other yards to this one.

Great service, helpful employees, especially the front desk help. Been there a bunch and front desk (bilingual long haired gentlemen) has always directed me in the right direction. I don't EVER post reviews but if panzys wanna come on here and throw tantrums because this guy follows company policy or "its too muddy" then ill come on here and defend someone doing there job ive never had an issue, never always the best price but not his or the companies fault. TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT. Thanks buddy!!!

Horribly over priced. You go get your tools and then go hunt down your part in a tightly packed horribly organized yard only to bring it inside to be quoted higher than ebay prices. I got a headlight switch for an 01 silverado and the indignant blond guy told me $60. I pulled up new ones on ebay and parts houses for $42 shipped to my house and showed him. He said well " take it or leave it" this absurdity had happened a few other times on other parts so I've just started getting stuff online. I hope they fold. They've struggled ever since they burned down a few years ago. They just quote prices based on what they think you'll pay. Horrible customer service and if you want something pulled for you that price starts at $25. Lame

I worked in this industry for many years, so my expectations are based in the reality of the product and the service you should expect. Chip earned all five stars, he was pleasant on the phone and took into consideration what I was looking for specifically and went above the expected to find it. He followed the sell throughout the process, making sure that it arrived on time and the condition that I expected. We picked the tailgate up at the Bend store and I was delighted to see it was exactly as he had described, the guys at the counter were great, friendly and helpful. In the end, it saved me well over $2000.

Super fast, super friendly, super knowledgeable!!! I needed a brake booster for a C4 Corvette, and I needed it fast. Chip sourced it quickly and handled the process from start to finish at a price that beat anyone here in Seattle. This is my guy from now on!

I have been looking for particular parts for quite a while and have spoken with many representatives from all over the country but never have I ever gotten as much help and professionalism from a wrecking yard. Usually I get a very rough half hearted attempt at service with very little interest in searching outside their direct vicinity. I believe his name was chip was attentive, professional, courtesy and actually brought a professional feel to wrecked parts search... absolutely five stars

I Have never once in my life bin ever so disrespected like i have here !! And i am 100% upset at how i was TREATED. I have come here many times too walk the yard for old parts for my subaru and my other 10 cars i have that need parts so i am always looking for good deals on parts which this place is perfect for that and never experienced this before! But today i was there for 2 hours only! Wondering the lot i found a power steering pump i needed and purchased. As i stated i was there for 2 hours only! Because i wanted to look at some other cars for parts i may want in the future! I know you have a computer for part numbers etc. but i do like too see in person. But the guy with long grey hair was absurdly rude! Like wow i never right bad reviews like this even the minute i showed up!!!. When i was at the brink of getting ready to go up and buy my part i found i needed and after looking at all the other parts i may want on few different cars for my other cars he came over to me on the lot while i was looking at a old bmw, he walked over for no reason said that this isnt Disney land and that we have to go now and said more rude things basically saying i could be making messes and stuff and destroying things like are you serious..! And he came out of no where say that other people make messes when i was just having a good normal day coming to go look for some parts to get good deal on. I even had a super awesome kid help me out with a part i was looking at and directing me around SUPER COOL KID HE DESERVES A RAISE I DONT CARE! He was just driving a white van around helping out. Again this place is great but that one guy with long grey hair guy idk what his name was forgot to ask couse he was so rude for no reason taking his bad day out on a loyal costumer is just horrible for company business personally! I have bin a manager for multiple car dealerships including Roberson ford himself! I know how a employee should act and be trained! I dont even want to go back to this place because of how i was treated for absolutely no reason just couse i look like a young man! I have plenty of money to buy anything i want i shouldn’t have to even be writing this review! Even after him being absurdly rude he did still let me purchase the item i needed because i know i did nothing wrong! Dont even feel welcome at a place of business.. thats just super sad!! I DO UPDATE MY BAD REVIEWS IF SOLVED! But till then wow.. ill even sit down and have a group meeting with the owner and this Guy! Thats how rude this worker is. He even said something about the fact hes 3x my age which made no sense of anything and why that would even matter couse frankly idc if someone is 54 im 20 and young! I will live longer so boo hoo.

Never been here before now if you were a car inthusiest you would be in car part heaven, so many cars with there own story some look sad! We got what we needed pretty reasonable too.. I would recommend!

This place ROCKS.. A total one stop shop for parts. The customer service I got from an employee named “Todd H” was not only incredibly helpful but he speaks Spanish which helped my employee get exactly what we needed. His knowledge of cars is incredible and will definitely come back. Ask for Todd. He will take care of you.

Todd spent a great deal of time making sure that I got the part I needed for a fair value. Owner took responsibility for a very frustrating wrong order and made it right. Waiting for the full refund of the original part I’ve ordered and cleared up misunderstandings regarding the order. Would still recommend this yard for the large quantities of vehicles they have in stock, just make sure to double check if your online order pickup is the exact part you’ve ordered in case if someone got it wrong.

I needed a very specific engine bolt and time was of the essence. The dealership was at least 2 days out and none of the auto parts stores in town had what I needed. I went out to B&R, the staff was friendly and helpful, they showed interest in my situation, and they let me go through a number of rigs until I found what I needed. The bolt was from a previous generation but they gave it to me free of charge and told me to let them know if it worked. When I got home I was able to install it and I was good to go! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience or outcome!

I was very pleased with the fast, friendly service from B&R, the parts I needed for an older car were not available locally, so they had the parts sent in from another yard that had them from out of state. Their prices on used parts are very reasonable. I will definitely call upon them again if needed in the future. Thank you again to the B&R team.
