I called and got a price for them to come tow me just for them to charge me an extra $60 for my car being awd, even though that was a question they asked me over the phone when quoting me.

I am so thankful for John, he showed up and moved my car the 500 feet I had to go in order to get the police off of my back, I broke down and they called to tow it because it was in the road. Really nice guy!

This company won’t own up or take accountability for their own actions. My friend’s car was damaged cause of one of their drivers negligence and incompetence. The driver completely denied having anything to do with any of the damages claiming that the damage was already there. Now my friend is gonna take them to civil litigation.

I’m surprising myself for writing a positive review for Pro Tow but I am very thankful for them, especially Kaia. I had an appointment yesterday with Copart to pick up my vehicle. The company hiring Copart needed certain documents and keys which were dropped off. I paid my fees and had that completed at Pro Tow between 9:15AM-11AM. The reason I was there for 2 hours because Copart was not picking up despite having an appointment with them for pickup between 11:45-1:00pm. Kaia informed me that my vehicle must be picked up before closing time to avoid overnight fees. I had a sinking feeling that Copart wasn’t doing their job. It took 18 calls for someone to answer me so I couldn’t trust them. I called Pro Tow at 2:34pm and David answered, confirming that they have NOT picked up my vehicle. I immediately called Copart and they said, “a truck is out for your vehicle. I will leave a note that it must be picked up before 4:30pm.” They didn’t send out a truck until the morning after. I thank God for Kaia for going above and beyond. Turns out she actually called them yesterday at noon and they were well aware that the vehicle was ready for pickup. She also waited an extra 10 minutes past closing time for them. I was nervous about needing to drive an hour to Pro Tow for the overnight fees but she voided the fee. Thank you so much again, Kaia.

Called for a towing quote, came off rude, said the tow truck driver would call me in 10 min, never called me back… unreliable, rude and overall horrible service.

They don't even deserve the 1 star i gave! They towed my husbands truck from our apartments parking garage! The parking permit that we were given when we moved in was left blank not specifying any particular vehicle! However - it was displayed! His truck recently started giving us some issues - so we haven't been driving it - as we have two other vehicles! - ( the truck had been parked in the same spot and not moved in over a week! ) we were parked at the very end and hugged up against the wall..... when we picked it up it cost us almost $800! On top of the outrageous charge - we were told that they couldn't get our truck out of the space without hitting the wall so the driver climbed underneath and unhooked the linkage - which is highly illegal! When asked why - we were told that they get 30% commission to tow and they "are about making that money!" We have been actively working with the tow board in hopes they will be held responsible

Their truck drivers have been seen going over 50mph in a 25mph residential zone. How is that acceptable? No reputable company would allow that. Shame on them.

Do not use. They are extremely unreliable. I spent well over a month trying to set up a tow and was ghosted multiple times on the days they assured me they would show up. On the 3rd or 4th time Bob said he would come out, the price was raise from 200 to 658. Absolutely the worst business I've tried to do business with

I am so grateful to these people for the help that they gave me today. My van broke down 15 feet from my parking spot and it wouldn't move. I didn't know what to do. I called pro tow and explained my issue and they helped me when nobody else would. Thank you Pro Tow for the help today. Tracy

It’s never a pleasant experience when you are faced with a situation where you have to call a tow truck. My driver, Sean, really helped to lighten the stress of dealing with two flat tires. His banter, sense of humor, and professionalism, was very welcome. That kind of attitude goes a long way with me in any business but especially higher stress situations. Thanks Sean!

I have NEVER left a negative review for a business in my life. I find that most of them are unwarranted and petty. But I will make an exception for Pro Tow (or Guardian Towing, which is the business name listed on the payment receipt). We had our car towed out of an EMPTY parking lot within 20 minutes of it being parked. We had stopped to quickly grab food from the nearby carts, knowing that we would be in and out quickly, and figured, there is no way the car will get towed that quickly, and we are not blocking anyone in or misusing a parking lot during busy hours. Boy were we wrong. The car was towed within those 20 minutes. We then had to take an Uber to the towing lot, then had to walk 20 minutes to get cash out of an ATM (of course they don't take credit cards), then take ANOTHER Uber across town to get our car title documents, then drove back and waited for 30 minutes as the person managing the lot was driving around, patrolling lots and towing people's cars. (He was kind and apologetic, and I feel bad that he is stuck on the receiving end of people's anger, when he doesn't even own the business). I already know the response the business will give to this review - "You parked your car in a lot marked with a towing warning". I agree in principle, but towing is for people who WILLFULLY ABUSE parking lots and leave their cars for HOURS on end. Our car was in the lot for TWENTY MINUTES before it got towed. I was lucky enough to have $460 in disposable cash that night and yeah, it sucks and it throws my budget off, but it won't financially derail me. But how many other people do not have the luxury to withdraw $460? Maybe that $460 was going towards their rent that they now can no longer afford and have to take on debt or borrow from friends and family to pay this egregious and exorbitant towing fee? Yes, I am sure this towing business is BARELY operating within legal confines so they don't run afoul of regulations, but their practices are HIGHLY PREDATORY, exploitative and frankly, unconscionable. I cannot imagine how many hard working, honest people they have put in impossible financial binds with their predatory towing practices. To the owner of this business - If you have any conscience, integrity, or moral compass, I hope you reconsider how you approach running your business. You may very well be ruining people's lives. There are less predatory ways to make a living.

Called Pro Tow to get my Lincoln Pickup to the transmission shop. Sean answered the phone and then showed up to my house within 20mins to pick up the truck and take it to the shop. Sean was quick, attentive, friendly, and very efficient. He then sent me a text with a photo of the truck at the repair shop. They'll be in my phone going forward for when I need a tow company in town. Thanks Sean!

Bob and Frank were amazing with my car. Upfront, honest and did exactly what was needed- no more no less. I appreciate that in an auto shop these days! They truly would rather have a lifetime customer than a one and done- I am a happy customer and will return any time it’s needed.

Rude and unprofessional company, I will be reporting to BBB. This company is a scam. They over charge and will lie when you call to find out what you need to get your vehicle out. I would say that this company has a contract with the Washington police department. I would be on alert with this tow company. DEFINTIELY REPORTING TO BBB. I RATHER GIVE A ZERO START BUT ONLY OPTION IS 1 STAR, AND THEY DONT EVEN DESERVE THAT. HOW DO YOU RUN A BUSINESS THAT ONLY EXCPETS CASH ONLY, BUT HAVE DIFFERENT PRICES LISTED ALL OVER THE OFFICE. WHICH ONE IS CORRECT?

Observing the lack of professionalism displayed by Pro Tow today was astounding. Hearing the driver of the yellow tow truck (black hoodie) refer the vehicle owner a “wetback” was shocking, offensive, starkly racist, and unnecessary.

Sean was my driver and he couldn't have been more pleasant. Called me 15 minutes before he arrived (and only 30 minutes after I called and that was "backed up" for these fine folks), he got my car loaded up, and supplied me with great conversation as we drove to the tire place. I hope to not need your services ever again, but if I do I am hoping Sean is the one to come save me.

I took my family out to dinner last night and our car from was towed by Pro Tow from a private parking. The dispatcher demanded $520 cash to get our car back, and added that there would be additional fees if this wasn’t settled that night. The car had been towed 1.1 miles to their lot. The national average for a tow is $105. This is a predatory business and we will report this to Oregon DOJ / AG on Monday. I will also make sure to leave reviews for all of the businesses who choose to subject their neighbors and customers to this abusive business. Please note this business also goes by the name “Guardian Towing Company”.

Sean was the driver who responded to our call. He was very professional and efficient at his job. He arrived very quickly and got our car out of the road. It was a very comforting experience in a time of distress. Thanks Pro Tow!

Rude and unprofessional predatory company. They circle the parking lots and will tow your vehicle right before midnight and then charge you an “overnight storage” fee even though they don’t answer the phone until morning time there’s no way to get a hold of them. Front office is some ditzy lady that talks bad about their customers behind their backs as well as her boss. Which I assume is Bob, a rude narcissistic morally reprehensible person. Will tell you one thing on the phone and something completely different in person basically gas lighting you into either pay or we’ll keep your car. Then when you get there to pick up your vehicle which they towed from a parking spot I PAY for and my leasing management let me know they had warned the company about their predatory towing. This “company” will tack on ridiculous fees on top just to try to squeeze and extort any penny their grubby little hands can grasp. If you could picture the scum of your typical predatory tow company, this one will leave you shocked. I do not understand how a company like this is still in business, they won’t even take credit card for “fear of disputes” because they know what they do is wrong and the credit card company would side with the consumer thus “costing them money”

THIS COMPANY IS SLEAZY. They must be driving around the parking lot just waiting for a car to be parked in a business tow zone. I was in a restaurant at a birthday party for less than 2 hours and my car was towed. Was sent a text message that my car was less than 2 mi away and that they would only take $520 cash. I can see paying a penalty if parked in a business parking lot with signage BUT $520??? That's more than any Portland violation and even more than serious speeding violations!! Most companies after hours rarely enforce that towing threat anyway. There were over 10 cars in the parking lot and they were all towed. There is not enough parking for all of the businesses in the Beaverton area where the concentration of restaurants are that I went to. THEY MADE COPIES of my ID, registration and insurance and filed them in their filing. Would not give me my car otherwise. I find this to be absurd because if I have my ID and I take the papers out of the car to show them, there's absolutely no need for them to make copies. That is dirty business. I have called to complain to the Beaverton Police, have a Case and will be filing a complaint with the county of Washington.

Best ever experience with a towing company. Please ask for Sean - he was very professional, friendly, polite, and approachable. Very knowledgeable about dealing with Tesla car. Arrived on time and was able to deliver my car to Tesla in a timely fashion despite traffic.

My car broke down and I needed to get it to the dealership. After striking out with a few other tow companies and their insane wait times, I found pro tow. I called and spoke with Bob, he was able to send Jeff out within an hour. They were polite and helpful and the price was reasonable for such a short notice and distance. Jeff also knew exactly where to take the car at the dealer

Had these guys move a car twice approximately the same distance because engine was damaged and needed replacement. Price each time was $120 each time to go approximately 14 miles. When it was finally time to get engine replaced, I booked the tow, and left the keys and insurance card in the car for the tow truck driver. Turns out that this time when they knew that insurance would cover the cost, the tow came to $299 and not $120. But since I reduced the insurance coverage on the vehicle, the insurance company called me to tell me that they were not going to cover the cost of the tow, and in the end, I got stuck with a $299 bill. The only thing that changed between the first two tows and the third tow was the tow company believing that insurance was going to cover the cost of the third tow. Seems pretty shady. We should strive to support honorable businesses, if one exists in the towing world. Think you can do better than Pro Tow.

Pro Tow is a good company. And I understand their business model. Leverage is everything! Pro Tow has what you don’t. So, they charge accordingly. Their prices are fair and understandable. Bob is nice, helpful and very easy to talk to. I do have one bad comment. In my mind, to combat the stigma that all tow companies have. Pro Tow should be more open to negotiating and stop using so much leverage. Most customer’s situations are complex and requires sympathy. Less “take it or leave it!” Ideally it takes 1-3 day I would think for an average customer to get their car out of your lot. But, don’t make a customer pay more when it’s out of the customer’s control logistically speaking to get every thing needed make the transaction. Because it really sucks having one’s car towed from a mistake made. Then adding to an already bad situation, being forced to pay an arbitrary price to get one’s livelihood out of your lot.

My Honda Pilot was having major issues and wouldn’t start, so I needed it towed from a lot in Tigard to the Honda shop in Beaverton. I had no idea who to call, relying on reviews like this, which is the reason I’m leaving one now. Everything was smooth and very professional from the call to the drop-off and payment. I paid $163 to get it out of a very tight spot and delivered 10 miles away to the dealership, which I think is quite reasonable. I was expecting to pay between $200-$300. Next time, I know who to call right away.

I was referred to Pro Tow by Kevork's Auto Care (great people there too). When I called, dispatch person was very friendly and able to have someone come out within 30-40 minutes. Well, David arrived in less time than that (very impressive). He asked me what was wrong with my car and I told him I couldn't get it to start. He then tried to start my car and did so successfully! No towing needed, no charge for coming out... saved me money! David also recommended I still take my car in to my mechanic because he agreed that something might be wrong with my starter. Thanks so much for your help and kindness!

Our Salesperson's vehicle broke down so I called Pro Tow and spoke with Greg. He was very helpful and was able to dispatch the driver within 10 minutes. The tow driver, Gilbert, showed up and he respected how the vehicle was hooked up and how he drove with our employee to the destination. His vehicle was clean and he was well groomed. Thank you Pro Tow for a good experience and for taking care of our driver and vehicle.

The absolute worst experience. The driver hit a car with my car in tow. The driver that came to move the first tow truck, towed my car to an illegal, unsafe location. It was an all around bad situation. I gave the original driver $100 to park my car legally (only 3 cars ahead of mine). He told me he was going an easier way to get up the hill then never came back. I called the company and not only were they unwilling to correct the situation, they were down right rude. Use SPEEDS Towing. About an hour later, I stopped a guy from Speeds. Even though I didn't have a call in and he had many calls to attend, he helped me. Parked my car legally super quick. :)
