I took a video today of them hooked up to a car from a pick up, and oh my god I feel so bad for the person that owns thia vehicle. If you see this and have any damage it is 100% proof. Do not use this company, it wont let me attach a photo or video to this review so I posted it separately. They wrapped straps around the PLASTIC rim cover
JD was awsome! My car was not in the easiest place to load up and was on a busy street and he made quick work of it. Would definitely recommend this place.
My car was impounded and first of all do not put 24/7 if you are in fact not 24/7 and when you try to call them you need to call like 3-4 times to get an answer, and no weekday or after 5 is stupid. DO NOT PUT 24/7
Well.
I was notified 1 day prior to Friday that a motorcycle had been impounded that my brother had sold several years ago. And so I raced around trying to get all the proper paperwork to go pick it up. Since my brother was out of state it was a little difficult and tedious to get everything that I needed round it up.And first person I met at Anderson towing was the female secretary who was fabulous? She made me feel comfortable. Like there was no problem, she'd handle everything. I just needed to get the paperwork. Then I was unable to get the release in time and I just wanted to be able to see the the bike and the gentleman that I ran into at the desk the following day wasn't so polite. But I stuck with it. Got everything, handled the following day. And even though Anderson's towing was closed, I called them they came right down. Opened up and allowed me to get the motorcycle. So that it didn't cost me any more money and the owner. And. His driver are absolutely wonderful to deal with and come to find out. My father had dealt with them for years at PGE and had wonderful things to say about him. Also, and I just can't rave anymore about Anderson towing, so if you must get towed, get towed by Anderson towing because what may start out as A bump in the road turned out to be smooth pavement at the end.
I was in a rollover accident 04/08 where a guy tried to beat me on a blinking yellow while I was going straight. I have no qualms with the office staff they were helpful. When I went to empty my vehicle, as I was signing in the guy who towed my vehicle whispered "Girl, I found your bottle." I didn't understand at first, then he muttered again, "I found the bottle you were drinking." He showed me an empty liquor bottle.
I was shocked he was insinuating I was drunk at the accident. I informed him that was from my work and if he looked in the vehicle he would find more cases of alcohol since I am a liquor rep. The empty bottle was from a tasting at a store and was going to be recycled. There were also empty beer cans floating around from when I took my cans to deposit. He didn't believe me.
As I emptied the vehicle, I pulled out all my brand gear, 4 cases, 2 tables, and my setup bin. He started sheepishly realizing he effed up. I even snapped back, "not that it's any of your business, but my BAL was 0.00." He didn't even apologize and started going into how he used to be a bartender.
The nerve of that guy. He doesn't even know me. Rudest interaction and totally unacceptable.
Went to pick up my utility trailer today that was towed to their facility due to breakdown on I-5. Dave greeted me when I arrived and turned a frustrating moment (not due to Anderson Towing) into one of the best customer service experiences I've experience in a long time. I had brought some part to get the trailer towable, and Dave jumped right in and helped me get the trailer road-ready in a fraction of the time it would have taken had I done it all myself. Thanks Dave! You're the best!

Called them for a tow. Customer service was great and transparent. Timeline was completely accurate and Jeremy was the one to pick me up and drop me at the shop. Jeremy was fantastic! Explained everything clearly and educated me in areas I was unclear on. Just an overall pleasant and professional human being! Thank you Jeremy!
Wow where to start fist off illegally towed my enclosed trailer. Then I went to pick it up acted crazy to me insulting me. I have brain cancer and told me I probably deserved it. Can’t wait to take my complaints to the tow board and eventually to the doj. Never use these guys if you have a choice.
Don’t forget that they did predatory towing during the ice storm a few years ago. Deleted our previous review about this. Charging people $800 and saying ODOT told them to do it when that proved to be completely false. Thiefs!!
In my semi truck on 12/17/24 doing 62 mph in the center lane in heavy Olympia wa rush hour traffic, raining heavy when the tow truck came flying by me in the left lane towing a ups van and served over in front of me where I had to slam on my brakes or get taken out.
This could have gotten really ugly for everyone.
What a joyful Christmas it could have been for myself and the motoring public.

Tire blew out came off rim. Dispatch was helpful, and competent, she even was nice enough to get me the lowest rate. Instead of being the typical 2 hours wait, or 300-500 one would expect for a Tow, they were very helpful and helped me save 400-600 dollars and went over options available. The Tow-Truck Driver James arrived within 10 minutes, and put spare on Jaguar and was very professional, removed flat, and put spare tire on quickly, and helped me get to Tire-Shop. He wasn't trying to rip me off, and he also prevented me from missing a flight later in the evening, as I made it to Schwab, they replaced tire and I was back on the road, and made it to PDX for my flight. Most of the time we meet Tow truck drivers when we are having one of our worst days, and forget to realize these are people that we need help from in crucial moments, at times they often have a dangerous and a thankless job. This unexpected flat tire, was a positive experience yesterday, I’d like to express my appreciation and thank the Staff at Anderson Towing in Aloha, Oregon. This incident and the way they handled it and treated me, reminded me it’s through vulnerability that human beings create connections. The more vulnerable we can be with one another, the more that we'll trust one another and it’s much easier achieving a solution, appreciate the expedited help! Also often we underestimate the power of being polite, having compassion, and even a positive attitude, kind words, or just the smallest act of such kindness, and importance all of which have the potential to make a difference in someone’s life, as it did today.

Nothing good to say about anyone there except the lady who works during the day who answers the phone. The rest of the men who I was in contact with were RUDE, SARCASTIC, and argumentative.
Considering they have a contract with Washington County to tow stolen cars that have been recovered they shouldn't be so difficult and hard to deal with when it's crime victims that are there by no choice of their own! Aha! I solved the question of why they don't care about customer service! Their customer is Washington County not the victim of the crime! But we're all Washington County taxpayers so they should treat all of us with a little more decency!
Think I'll call Washington County....
Super rude employees and a huge scam. Charged us almost 700$ to get our car out or they would keep increasing it by 50$ a day. No other options.
Either somehow come up with an insane amount of money on the spot, or it will get increasingly worse every day.
All on the day before my kids birthday.
They sent me to collections for a vehicle I didn't and don't even own. Wasn't even aware that a vehicle I had sold and had put a notice of sale in at DMV was totalled. Not one notice or letter was sent to anyone. Now they say" you have to deal with collections." Take your business elsewhere, seriously!

Every time I have ever used Anderson Towing & Recovery they have gone out of their way with prompt arrival, professionalism, and drivers with great people/customer skills! (So important!) A bucket truck we borrowed broke down on HWY 26, I made a call to Anderson Towing and they showed up with the right rig and got us off the freeway in no time. These people are great, professional and priced within reason. This is the only company I'll be using, but hopefully not too often.

My son was in an accident, u charged him $800 to tow his car 5 miles. Your excuse for the massively high bill was because you thought a duii was involved and that was not the case at all. Your representative told me to f-off! I have many friends at the lake Oswego police dept and am diligently working to kill your agreement with them. Taking advantage of people is not ok
Intentionally sliced open my corvette shifter leather to tow it. Back story: C5 convertible was illegally tageted and towed by Tualatin cop thinking it was stolen and abandoned so he could get it on the cheap...for the price of the towing fee. Nice try. It was never ticketed. Just disappeared off the street. See you in court. Complaint filed with police dept and BBB. Cameras now protect vehicle.
They are a joke!! My boyfriend van broke down and all my kids stuff was in the van. I already took two trips with my car to make sure I got my kids stuff and then figure out the van. Not even 24 hours and it was towed. I didn't waste any time and figured out who towed the van. They been so hard to make it possible to get MY KIDS STUFF OUT OF THE VAN!!!! that's all I want and now that I have the owner ND Registration in town from Vancouver. They want to tell me it's gonna cost over a $1000 to just get this stuff out because it's been more than 15 days never once did. They say that. All this time I don't have a thousand dollars. Never once have I been through this much hellwith a tow company
Was charged $738 after the vehicle had been there for 2 nights. (11 mile tow).. The guy charging me said "We can't lower the fees because they are set & we might risk losing our million dollar contract."
Since then, I've tried many times over the phone to get information on who is setting these 'standard' rates, & none of the representatives can give me that information...
Really just want to know that it was all fair game.
This was such a genuinely awful business experience. All of the reviews claiming Anderson is a predatory and price-gouging company that takes advantage of people in an unfortunate situation are completely correct.
$800 for about a 10 mile tow that resulted from an unprecedented AND misforecasted snow storm. I understand that they provide a valuable service, removing vehicles that are hazards, but there is seemingly a very large gray area around regulation of the fees that they can charge, and they do not hesitate to hike that rate as high as possible.
This is all not to mention the total and utter lack of empathy from this company and its workers. They do not care about their community or customers at all. I would highly advise calling a different tow company.
Predatory rude price gougers. As long as it’s within the law it’s all good though right? Just keep gouging hard working honest people for everything they got! I’ve heard stories of $800 bills for 2 days from one nice lady and $400 for 1 mile from another guy. Also heard countless others like not letting people get their belongings out of the car when they don’t have $1400 on the spot after they have been in the hospital. But they legally can charge this amount so well of course they will charge you the highest amount they can and America will celebrate their money making machine.
Never thought I would write a review for a tow company but here we are. My car was stolen and found by police. It was towed here and I couldn’t pick it up for a few days. Once I started contacting Anderson towing to get my car back, they were very easy to communicate with and super helpful. The 5 star review is specifically for the owner (Mark I believe is his name) we had to pick up our car after hours and Mark went above and beyond. He called to make sure we found the yard ok and then he went out of his way to put my spare tire on when we noticed there was a significant flat. He used his own equipment and was so helpful. If it wasn’t for mark, I wouldn’t have been able to make it into work the next day. So here’s a 5 star review to say thank you!!!
Picked up a dead truck for me, showed up so fast I didn’t have time to call them back to confirm I had a shop to deliver the dead truck to. They saved my bacon!
Having your vehicle break down in the middle of terrible traffic on Highway 26 is terrible but this company was there for me, they told me an hour and the truck arrived in 40 minutes. excellent customer service, driver 323 of the truck 16 deserves the best words and thanks for his help. Thank you!!! highly recommended.
Can't say enough great things about Anderson Towing. Dispatch (Leanne) was really helpful and accommodating in figuring out a best solution to get my motorcycle towed to the repair shop right when they opened at 10, and found the best truck/driver for the job. Wade arrived right on time, helped me out no problem, and was really nice. Price was great service was great! Use them.
