Most of my interactions with this scrap yard have been positive. However, after yesterday, I have a word of advice. Don't waste your time going to the yard unless you know you will be there at least 30 minutes prior to the time they close, otherwise be ready for them to turn you away. I waited in line at the entrance behind a big semi truck for over 15 minutes yesterday, and when I finally drove up to the window, despite it being still a couple of minutes before they closed, the lady told me they were already closed and rudely turned me away... Nevermind the fact that I was there well before they closed and had to wait in line. I have zero control on how fast or slow they are able to process the line for the scales. Seems like they could handle that type of situation much better. Really was a total game changer with regards to the overall opinion I have on the business now.....
Terrible experience, was told to uload one place then the operators yelled that I couldn't unload there. The weigh in/out is horrendous. The operators are very rude.
Never had any issues with the folks here in Hermiston. Prices are what they are and I get rid of stuff for cash instead of paying to just throw it away.
