Shipped a radiator that leaked worse then the one I had,took it back and then they had another one sent up and it was clearly the wrong one, now they tell me they don't have any more to send me and said they don't have proof I paid for it so are not giving me my money back even though the old man wouldn't ship me the radiator unless I paid. B.S I won't deal with them again, thieves!
Troutdale location is great to work with. Answered the phone every time. Said they would get back to me, and they did. Shout out to Andy. He was honest, up front, and provided and did what he said.
The best in service I have ever been to. They are awesome. There's two main guys that run the counter there, and they're both frickin rockstars. Highly highly recommend
Ok, I had a terrible experience. I wrecked my car recently and needed 2 rims. So, I bought the rims from here, but apperently they ordered broken rims. They they had to get them from a different place. Long story short after 10 days, no rims, no phone call.
Bought a trans off em. Installed it and it was no good. They sent out another. I took a trans in. Turned out it was the original trans. They wanted the other trans. So when I got back in town I brought them the other trans. But they no longer had the first trans I brought in. They charge 150 or so for a core charge I believe. They should pay me for the trans since they got 2 off me for the 1 they gave me. They didn't even apologize for no longer having the first one. Shady af.
We needed a car door replacement and they actually had 2 to choose from and they were the right color. We were able to look at them and choose the best one. Eric actually answers the phone every time you call. Amazing customer service and friendliness. It's such a breath of fresh air when you find people like this that take pride in their work.
Purchased a part they said 2 to 3 days well that didnt happen so he said monday that didnt happen either to top it all its been over a week since they refunded the money and i still havnt got it yet ... Wont be doing business with G&R again
Okay pros and cons here. Changed my review from 1 star up to 4, because they (finally) did deliver a nice axle that is not very common.
Pros: they got me a hard-to-find 14 bolt 6 lug axle with a factory locker.
Cons: I had to hound them for a few weeks because the axle they initially promised me had a problem so they didn't ship it to this location, but nobody ordered a replacement axle. I was on the edge of asking for my money back when they express shipped the right one.
Summary: they're decent people and have a solid selection of parts, but they're really under-staffed so I had to bug them a fair amount to make sure my order went through.
Ordered a part over the phone told me everything was there. Then when I pick the part wasnt there and second time was missing a lot of stuff. This is not the first time they lie a lot.
Ordered a part with them that was supposed to be here in 2 days. 2 weeks later dropped by and they said it’s still not here. Said they’ll call. Never did. I called them and said it’s here. Came back for 3rd time. Couldn’t locate the part for 45 minutes and in the end it wasn’t even the correct one…waste of time.
I was happy with the replacement window I picked up at G & R. I felt it was a bit overpriced and took longer to arrive than I had hoped but it was the correct window and in perfect condition.
Brian was my point of contact when a part I bought was defective. They located, tested and sent the replacement part in a timely manner. Would buy from them again.
Very unprofessional and they avoid phone calls when they know that a customer is upset. Horrible communication. I ordered a wheel and paid over the phone, I was told it would be there in two business days. Two business days went by and they had my money but I did not have my wheel. Monday morning came and still no wheel. Very disappointed and I should be refunded.
I visited the Troutdale Oregon office. (They have multiple locations). I needed a new hood and grille for my van. Brian was very helpful in searching the inventory of all their yards to find what I needed in the same color paint. He found parts in the Eugene yard and had them brought up to Troutdale. Fair prices and excellent customer service!
Very unprofessional performance from the employee named Brian. 4 times he told me he'd call me right back. Not once did he do so. After that he stopped answering my calls altogether. Long story short, the business couldn't get me the right part and I returned the one they sold me. In the end, 3 weeks of my time was wasted by Brian. I can imagine if another employee was helping me it would be a different story. Another yard had the correct part shipped to me the next day.
As a customer service is not good, this liar Freddy Lucatero half attended me and I need to go twice to the store for this person does not pay attention to the parts I ordered, with an hour's work to remove my parts. extended 2 days and did not have all my parts ready I needed more days
The prices and parts are good but the staff sucks. I have been expecting a part for 4 days. I called back to check up on it and they had no info and gave me attitude. Poor customer service outdated system.
They were really very helpful and courteous, although very busy they took time with me that was very much needed. Knowledgeable and very affordable for the obscure part that I was having trouble finding. Although they didn't have the part on hand they found one at another site and had it sent over in just an quick couple days. All in all I had a really good experience and would suggest them to anyone. Even if you have a hard to find or common place part you will be pleased. And they were the most inexpensive on or of line that I could find. Seriously half the cost anywhere else. If I could give them more stars I would that is how pleased I was.
They probably have the best prices. But they also have some questionable quality. The part I received must have been sitting outside for years by its condition. I just had to hope it worked. It did, but now I wonder for how long. Also, the service is subpar. I paid for my part in advance over the phone, then I had to wait for them to call me when ready. They never did, I had to call them.
09 camry front passenger door 3R3 color the door on the bottom was cover with mud so when I took it home and rinse the door there were plenty of scratches and now it has to be repainted they cut the whole door wire and he said he can't find the plug end it was so easy that even I can find it, bought the shock also it was fine. I did wanted more parts but after what just happen forget it.
i bought a rim in portland and they sold me the wrong size they said they had the correct size troutsdale so i drove out to pick up the replacment. when I got to troutsdale they did not have the part ready and i was asked to wait. after waiting they handed me the rim in the wrong size again. When i walked into the store with the rim and a tape measure i was told very standoffish that i did not know what i was talking about that the rim was the right size that i was measuring wrong. I handed the rim and the tape measure over to the man who had just insulted me he measured the rim and low and behold it was the wrong size. After a very weak barely even there apology i was told i would have to return to portland for a refund. so i wasted about 4 hours and drove over 30 miles. Just to be insulted by a man who cant keep his inventory in order. if i could give less than one star i would.
(edit): two weeks ago, a week after my first review the owner replied stating that this "couldnt be further from what his buissness was known for", and he would investigate the situation.
so now after two weeks i would like to see what he has found out, and what he has done to resolve it. Seemed more like an empty response... not impressed
