I was in an accident this morning and called Gresham Towing. On the phone I told them I had State Farm insurance and they would be paying and they said that wasn’t a problem.
After they picked up my car they called and said they needed to be paid immediately by me or they would not unload the car at the repair shop and instead take it to there tow lot where it would cost me a daily storage few.
The insurance company said this is not normal and sounded like a scam.
Don’t use them!
This is Junk yard. There is no office, no people.. all you hear on the phone that someone is coming.. and you seat here waste your time like hour or 2.. just to get car out.
I've had to use Gresham Towing twice in the past couple months. Both times there was really fast and excellent service And their prices are much better than the others I called on. Totally recommend.
My daughter was involved in a car accident and I am trying to get her personal stuff. Gresham Towing are not giving any flexibility to when I can come to pick up the personal belonging. They keep saying that if I come after hours which is 9 to 4, they will charge me $100 dollars. I am a public official and I work from 8 to 5 five days a week. I could not find anybody else to do the job for me. I am really having a bad experience with is company. I would not recommend them to anybody.
We broke down in Cascade Locks on a Sunday. Victor was there within 45 minutes and towed us all the way to Vancouver. Very nice and professional. Reasonable rates for a 50 mile tow. I would highly recommend this team!
I fell asleep at the wheel and totaled my car, Gresham Towing came and took my car to their lot, without asking me if I wanted it towed to my house. In the shock of the moment, I didn't think to ask if they could. I now owe $280 because I wasn't given any options, apparently the guy should have asked me and he did not. These guys are swindlers.
Thank you for the great customer service when my son put his car in a ditch. Your driver was quick to arrive and took great care lifting the car out and it runs great still! We got lucky in many ways!
5 stars for sure! Lowest price I could find at short notice and they delivered! My car was towed within a hours time and the driver was very friendly and helpful. I will also say they have a really nice 6500 rig too!!
Friendly service. Needed my car towed to the local garage for repairs so I called and was able to arranged a tow appointment a week ahead of time and was really happy with the service.
I got stuck on the side of the road at 1:30am today and they told me it would be 15 min and $150. I called multiple times for a status update and all the lady said was “I haven’t heard from my driver. They’ll be there in a couple minutes”. It wasn’t until 3:30am that some random number texted me asking if I needed the tow. Clearly I did, so I said yes and they told me it would be $250. I had to call a reliable tow truck company with professions to come save my car and they were at my location within 20 minutes. From the moment I called, the lady seemed less than willing to help but it was 1:30am and I didn’t have much of a choice. And 10hrs later I still never received a text back from that random number about needing a tow at $100 more than I was originally told. FYI - I was only a 8 minute drive away from the business.
Experienced a flat tire unexpectedly. Gresham towing towed my car in a timely manner where I needed it at a decent price. 24 hour service available. No complaints.
Police impound these guys got called to mangle my front bumper on a tow, charge me $230 then the driver says they didn’t cause any damage so now I’m going to file against them in court since they can’t compensate for damages or take accountability. (Added last photo from 10 days before)
My little Toyota Motorhome busted a fan belt & I forgot to setup RV service on AAA when I bought it. Gresham Towing answered the phone and was honest about availability- delayed pick up times. No one else I called to haul a small motorhome. Good service from call taker to field folks. I would use them again!
I had to abandon my car on 223rd Wednesday evening when it got stuck in the road along with many other cars during the snowstorm. The roads were too icy to get my car on Thursday so I called them on Friday when the roads were still icy and explained the situation. I explained that I could get my car tomorrow (Saturday) and ask if there would be an additional storage charge. The woman was sympathetic and told me they would work with me on storage fees due to the weather. I went in the next day like I said I would and they were closed. I called them number on the sign, and they told me that they are closed on weekends, even though it says online AND on their sign that they are open 24/7. The woman said that is only for towing. I confirm again that I will not be charged for all the storage fees due to the weather.
I got to the tow yard Monday morning at 9am, when they supposedly open. It is closed. I call and the woman tells me that the person is out on a tow and won't be back for a while. Apparently only one person works the whole yard, towing and releasing cars. There are two other people waiting out front. As I am waiting, one of the people told me how they tried to pick up their car on Friday and nobody was here even though they said they would be. They finally get back in half an hour. When I check out my car, my charge is $435. I explained how the woman on the phone told me they would work with me on the days due to the weather and the man behind the counter refused.
This place is extorting people. Do not use them!
The lady that runs this company is foul she has horrible customer service she laughed at me said call me if you can even get it out then hung up when I told her I wouldn't be able to get it gave me the run around with fees lied added fee's she told me it would cost 200 dollars just to get my stuff out of the vehicle my car was parked on the side of the road not bothering anyone! They are straight robbing people ! They're praying on the weak and poor !!
Shame on me. Was shocked at the price to make a simple 5 mile tow from repair shop in Gresham to 122nd Ave. $330 which included: $6/mi for 10 mi ($60), $30 Gas Surcharge, $50 dispatch, and $190 hookup. Get the estimate before requesting.
I had a car accident in Gresham and my car was too damaged to drive. Gresham towing was out there very quickly and took care of cleaning up the fluid spill and the bits and pieces. The manager, Dennis was very polite and professional. He gave me his business card and took the car away. One less thing for me to deal with as I was still quite stunned from the collision! Thanks a bunch Dennis and crew!
My cars steering wheel was locked, and it took a lot of extra work to get the car on and off the truck. I was charged a fair price, and the driver was very good at navigating through my bad situation. Highly recommend .

Do not trust them to actually diagnose a issue and hold to there expertise. If you just need a tow thats great. ($400+)
After misdiagnosing the issue I needed another tow the next week with the same issue. They admitted they couldn't handle it. Towed me somewhere else and charged me $300+ for there inability to do their job.
DO NOT GO THERE TO DO EVEN THE EASIEST WORK. IT WAS LITERALLY A ALTERNATOR ISSUE.(they had days extra time to look at it too)
They were fair and on the spot with helping us out the driver was courteous and came to help us out right away I highly recommended them for any towing needs and will definitely use them again if needed
I got into an accident and my car was totaled The cops called Ryan With Gresham towing to come get it and he was so friendly and patient with me cause I was a discombobulated mess at the scene. so when it was time to deal with the insurance And release of my car took time out of his day to help me and because I'm a single mom and hate buying new cars he help me get in to my new/used car THIS IS AN AMAZING MAN KIND HEARTED AND EXTREMELY HELPFUL I would recommend alll my friends and family to them
The person who towed my brand new 2020 vehicle caused severe damage to it. Now it sounds like a 100 year old vehicle. I had professional mechanics inspect my vehicle twice and they said the towing company hooked up in the wrong places which bent parts that caused a lot of damage to my vehicle.
Steer clear of this inexperienced company. They have caused slot of financial damage to us.
They haven’t even replied back to us and these such hard times financially.
Give your business to someone who knows what they are doing. Am helping you dodge a bullet here.
Scam. We were in a wreck and the guy didnt give us any amount for our car. He said it was $500 on the wreck scene but we didnt receive anything. The car has low miles, in good condition and be salvaged. If they come on scene to tow your car, make sure to negotiate and record it or put it in writing.
Very nice people! Had to have my car jumped in Portland and they came out super quickly. Cliff was super professional and even followed up with me to make sure I made it home safe. Really cared about my safety and I would recommend!
Very fast and friendly service. Needed a tow and was really nervous to be stuck. But these guy reassured me and I had a tow truck there to help me in under 20min. speedy service and reasonable rates.
