Pick-A-Part JunkYard in Turner (OR)

Average selection of used parts. Rather high prices for said parts. Some of their stuff is cheap but the majority of things here over priced. THESE ARE SELF SERVICED USED CAR PARTS! They shouldn't be priced at a premium especially when you are the one pulling them. The yard is in pretty good condition I don't remember stepping in any ankle deep mud puddles like at other yards. Overall it's a pretty good self service parts yard but Ive definitely frequented far better establishments of this kind in my career as a journeyman mechanic.

UPDATE :Things have really gone downhill since I posted this review. The staff there don't even know what cars they have in stock. Prices of are out of touch with reality. They're asking more for used parts than I can pay for new. They treat everyone that comes in there like they are a criminal.

Went in hoping to find what I was looking for (and I did) went back to pay and since that part was small enough they didn't even charge me for it. Amazing, friendly and understanding staff

This visit went exactly as I expected but, I got to admit, I stacked the odds, a little bit. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and it really helps to call prior to a visit just to confirm the location of a part on the yard or availability of a pre-poled part in the shop.

Bought parts from there last 2 years always great service told truth about take a few days before parts were ready. 👍

great selection of cars but the lady at the front desk is not exactly the brightest lightbulb in the room. there has to be some kind of pricing based on condition of the pulled part. pricing everything as if it was is good working order is idiotic.

Wanted to give a sincere Thank You! to the guys at this location. I was there on 7/15 to pick up some parts delivered from a different location. One of the parts was wrong, one of the gentleman offered to go take a look in the yard to see if they had the right part in stock. We quickly located it, the gentleman had it pulled and I was good to go. My car didn't start and I was stranded. We discussed the problem and the staff lent me tools (I live over 2 hours away and didn't bring anything) to help figure it out. Identified the likely problem, the guys pulled a part off another car and I tried it out. Although the part didn't fix my problem, I really valued their help and patience. Also gave me a good recommendation for a tow truck. An unexpected ordeal, but the guys at this yard were as friendly, helpful, patient, and accommodating as one could be. Sincerely, a big thank you!

Pick-A-Part is one of my favorite places to go! The employees are very friendly, very knowledgeable, and very helpful. They almost always know the answers to any questions i might have, if they don't know the answer there is always someone around that does. They almost always have the part I'm looking for, but if by chance they don't have it they get on the computer and try to find it at another location. If they find it they will have it shipped to their site at no cost to you. It usually gets there within a couple days. The best part is for only $1 you can sign in and go walk around the yard for hours looking at hundreds of cars and find things you didn't know you needed until you see it! Plus the cars are very organized and if you tell them exactly what you're looking for they will give you a map and tell you exactly where to find whatever it is you're after

They have cleaned up the yard very well. Easy to find vehicle placements and good service, slightly behind with the inventory listing but much better now then in near and far past visits.

Horrible. I run a business by myself and it takes me 40 min each way to go to pick n pull. The last 3 times I have gone there the cars look like they have been rolled over. Online the car looks perfect you show up and its totaled doesn't even have any usable parts. Very misleading very frustrating. Then I bring it up to the cashier and ask why it is that they cant accurately advertise these cars so they dont waste people's time. And she just played stupid like it didnt bother her. They are pretty fair priced. But they need organization. It's like having too big of a garden. If you don't work on it right away, it'll get out of hand pretty quickly. That's the same situation with their cars. They just hope to have room when a car come in. If not, oh well, just dump it somewhere, and keep hoping this doesn't get out of hand. Well, it's pretty close to out of hand, to where it's hard to find cars yourself, and impossible for the employees to tell you where the cars are exactly. There kinda, maybe over in that direction, they'll say. Then you're walking around for a good 15-30min trying to find something that'll work. I would go again, but only if I have time to waste, because that is likely to happen.

Cheap place to get parts and you can buy any size tire in sometimes almost new condition for 20 bucks!

This place saved me a ton of money! The part I needed was no longer available and what I pulled for the repair was like new.

Employees are lazy and don’t even know what they have. And they also switch the price.

When I called I was told they had the part on the shelf. Ended up being the wrong part. They apologized , and pulled the part while I waited. Very professional and helpful . Being a woman I am not always treated well in auto repair field. Thanks for the great service.

Many cars are pretty picked over and they aren't sorted very well. That said, I found what I went for and their prices are great. They could use a few yards of gravel. Bring your rubber boots.

Incompetence at it's finest. Supposedly my part was ready to go 2 whole days ago. I went by to pick it up when they opened only to be told an incredibly important piece of the part I'd purchased was completely missing. I needed the part right then and was told I'd have to just wait for some random guy to show up who knew where it was. I had to leave immediately as I was on a preplanned time schedule, and will now be stuck up in Portland after spending my last dollars on a bus ticket to go fix my car, which I can't even do because they didn't have the part for me. No money, no way home, no part to fix my car.

I am always surprised by how reasonable the prices are and even cheaper yet when you pull the items yourself! People are treated respectfully and with a no nonsense and business like manner. Ive never left there empty handed or with an empty wallet. Every one i recommended them to wont go anywhere else.

Found several needed parts and the prices were excellent. Great place to check for hard to find parts. Will be going back.

They are always helpful in finding a location where my part may be available when and if they don't have it. Prices are fair and vehicles are easy to locate. Wear boots it's always muddy.

Drove there and back twice 92 mile trip each time looking for a specific jeep part. Ended up finding what I need and the man at the front desk was very respectful and understanding of my extreme commute. I will definitely be returning for other things thanks to this experience. All the staff we're respectful and didn't belittle me or judge my abilities.

Good service and helpful on where to look for what you need. Unfortunately they didn't have the part we were looking for but 90 % of the time they do.

They always have lots of inventory and sometimes I find what I need and sometimes I don't. Everybody is always kind and can normally point me in the right direction to what I'm looking for. Far pricing also.
