Great employee customer service. Mostly antique or very vintage salvaged building materials. Huge selection, seemed pretty expensive to me but a lot of hard to find and rare items.

Cool place. This bottle collection was pretty. We picked up a patio set and the store associates were friendly and helpful.

Aurora Mills Architectural is such an incredible place, they have an inventory. I’m such a variety of things that’s prettiest astounding! From Antique glass door knobs to church pews, too many things to name, just go!

This shop has very nice vintage items and hardware for the older homes. The atmosphere was inviting and I enjoyed walking and looking at the collections from the past. The staff left you look and was helpful if you had questions. You might find that hard to find item here.

I’ve been visiting antique and salvage shops around Oregon for years, and this one stands out. The staff are pleasant and professional, and the store is well organized. I always enjoy visiting while in the area.

Always a treat to stroll around Aurora Mills and take in the wild spread of goods they’ve assembled here. Old signs, vintage mannequins, legit heirloom furniture—- it’s an amazing pile of eye candy. And most of it is well curated stuff, not random junk. Can be overwhelming though, so it’s a good idea to know a bit of what you’re after before wandering in or, swear to god, you will be there for hours. Great old warehouse-y building, nicely kept grounds and super cool employees, too.

First of all...what a beautiful place to wander around. Worked with glass expert Nathan Potter...what a treat. Great knowledge & customer service. Living in a 100 year old house....Aurora Mills is definitely a "go-to" place for us. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Oh yes, another gem we found on our visit to Portland, OR. Sadly, we were flying home and could not take any of the incredible items we saw. If you are within a radius of 25 miles, this sure is worth a detour. This place is so good that I consider driving back to LA next time so I have space for some of their goodies.

Nathan is amazing! A skilled artisan who restores beautiful stained glass and leaded windows. And, he is terrific to work with - communicating with progress and kindness. I can not recommend enough!

Like several reviews mention-- this place is absolutely spectacular if you're looking for a long lost architectural treasure for your home or possibly a creative project. Most impressive was how fabulously organized everything is. The staff is also extremely knowledgeable and will try to answer as many questions as possible. Absolutely worth the drive from Portland !

Pretty cool little salvage store with lots of neat items. Definitely somewhere you could spend several hours in. The only unfortunate thing we found was that the prices were pretty shocking to say the least. I get large items being a lot of money - especially handmade items like wardrobes, countertops, etc. There is a gorgeous island/counter in the kitchen area that is being sold for about $4k, and that wasn't shocking at all to us. In fact, it seemed reasonable. But there were many, many items being sold for $100+ that are straight out of a Sears in the 80s or 90s that are being branded and sold as "vintage."

Nathan and the team at Aurora Mills have been absolutely fantastic!! We are the owner /stewards for a historic colonial in The Dalles, Oregon, and recently had to replace one of the original wavy glass windows. We called many places with no success before finding Aurora Mills, and Nathan. The size of the window made finding the right replacement piece difficult, however Aurora came through!! When the right piece arrived in stock, Nathan guided us through the process of removing the broken glass, measuring and preparing for new. He hand cut the new (old) glass to size and carefully packaged it for transport. He then guided our handiman to reinstall the glass. In short, Aurora Mills Architectural Salvage went above and beyond to provide materials and guidance for a very specialized and unique need.

I have wanted to visit this store for too long. On my way home from The Great Junk Hunt in Salem, no better time than now! Words can't even begin to describe this place! But I'll try! If you appreciate antique wood work and every type of rusty, crusty, dirty, beautiful anything and everything metal, glass, wood, this is your heaven on Earth! I was absolutely stunned by the artistry and the amount of stock they have. It's mind blowing. But! Be prepared to pay for what you love! $$$ There are plenty of reasonably priced pieces here. But you will pay up for alot! And there's nothing wrong with that! Everything is worth the price in my opinion! There were a number of large furniture pieces upwards of $4000 with SOLD tickets... Please come check this place out! I'm only leaving now because their closing. I could spend all day going through both building and the lumber yard... There's never enough time to see it all. I might come back again tomorrow!

I recently purchased an absolutely beautiful stained glass window from Nathan at Aurora Mills Architectural Salvage. I was not certain in the beginning if I was going to have him repair my original window or pivot and try to find a stained glass window to fit the space. I talked at length with Nathan about my choices and he was so willing to explain everything that would need to be done to either repair the old one or install a stained glass window I might find. My mother-in-law and I set out to start looking at all of the beautiful stained glass windows offered in this large space. I had my measuring tape on hand to find the perfect fit. We ended up finding the perfect stained glass to match the era of my home in almost the exact size of the existing window frame. My brother was able to find some old growth fir to match the frame around the stained glass window to build out the top and bottom to fit the space. I was set with the task of re-cementing the glass, staining the inside frame to match my interior frame molding from 1910, and primer painting the outside of the frame. I called Nathan at the store before I did the re-cementing on the glass and he walked me through the process on this DIY install. I will forever be thankful to Nathan for making me feel brave enough to tackle this project!! I am absolutely in LOVE with this window and feel it was meant to be in this space! Thank you Nathan!! I am telling everyone to visit this store!!

This is one of the most impressive architectural salvage stores in the nation. The perfectly curated treasures are simply mind-blowing. I found the prices to be fair and I would hope that others can also understand how labor intensive and costly it is to get these items from all over the country to this shop for everyone to have the opportunity to purchase. I found the staff to be very helpful and charming. What an exquisite experience.

It is wonderful treasury of fuel for the imagination! My mind was assembling pieces as we walked from one row to the next! Definitely worth stopping by, but it would take days to see it all.

An amazing array of salvaged items of all types. One of the biggest salvage stores we’ve seen. Everything was beautifully displayed but for many items in the counters prices weren’t visible which was frustrating. Also pricing seems pretty high for most items so this is not a place for bargain hunters but it is nice to get a good luck at a great variety of vintage pieces.

This store is designed for those hardworking men who are willing to restore architectural buildings. The owner must have opened a lot of doors during his lifetime. Their door knob collection is impressive. Not to mention their wooden doors are ready to be shipped.

Aurora Mills Architectural was like a stroll down history. So many unique items from all periods of time. The staff are very inviting and knowledgeable. Dogs are allowed, masks required. Cash and plastic accepted. Great place for a fun-day Sunday..

Great assortment of items. Very cramped and full building, looks like they might be building another space next to current old mill, which I’m sure they can easily fill. Gave 4 stars because it’s so pricey $$$$. Love to look at what they have.

Very helpful, knowledgeable staff, and lots of choice, especially on local curated pieces. If you don't see it out, ask if they have it in storage.

One of the best places to find a lot of old beautiful history to buy. The store is very clean and organized.

I love this place. It has such interesting salvage pieces available here. Alot of the inventory is over priced but the quality speaks for itself.

Amazing items but def $$$$$ over priced... with each shop in the town varying on prices, go ahead and look here but don’t purchase unless you know you can’t find elsewhere. Some unique items the larger for certain. But again the design and aesthetics is incredible.
