These guys are AWESOME! Stranded on Hwy-140 with a service truck and boat…they came to the rescue and took care of us in fine style towing us over 100 miles. Highly recommend these guys if you are ever in need.
My truck broke down 15 minutes outside of Lakeview. I was super stressed, on a road trip with my 2 dogs. The owner spent time trying to get my truck fixed on the side of the road before he had his tow truck driver come pick it up to take it to his shop. He drove me and my dogs in a separate vehicle into town so they wouldn't have to be put on the tow truck while in my truck...and he even let me borrow a vehicle to take my dogs to a local motel for the night. He got my truck fixed and I was on the road again the next morning. I can't say thank you enough to him for helping me out.
The service was above and beyond any that I have ever experienced. The tow driver pulled out some kind of McGuyver techniques to get me off the road and over to his shop. He then went above and beyond to get my truck(a big rig) back road ready by actually staying on the job until well after 10:00 in the night. He didn't charge me one drop of overtime and even took his own light to fix mine so I could go deliver my load. Truly the best beyond the rest. Unbelievable price and true dedication and consern.
Terrible lack of professionalism and ethics.
Instead of towing my vehicle to the nearest repair shop so it could get fixed, JARED promised me he could do the work himself.
So he towed it to his house, or someone else's property, and let it sit there for 49 DAYS without starting the work.
Leaving me high and dry, stranded without a vehicle, with basically no valid communication from that point forward.
Great guy, Jared picked my vehicle,took it to his shop and waited until my ride showed up an hour later during closing hours. I recommend calling Timberline mobile repair and towing if your along his area.
Great service, they are reliable and they can help with alot of different problems. They can be busy but they do their best to get to you fast, the guy that came to help with my lockout was honest and friendly and had me back on the road in 15 minutes, I'd always pick these guys if I needed help in the area again
After failing to fix my van on the side of the road, and causing further damage, Jared towed my van 60 miles in the wrong direction, and promised he would have it repaired the following week.
20-some days later, he said he still hadn't made time to even look at it yet. He then went radio silent, instead of simply fixing the repair.
For 3 weeks, he left the van sitting to rot in his "secured lot" which was really just the front yard of his buddy's trailer.
I had to contact the POLICE and get them involved to get my vehicle back, and then find someone else to tow it to another shop, who were able to have it all fixed up less than 4 hours later. The police informed me of Jared's terrible reputation locally.
Jared wasted 20+ days of my life (amounting to thousands of dollars) without a vehicle over an easy 4-hour repair he promised he could do.
Also broke my thermostat in his attempted and failed roadside repair, which I subsequently had to also have fixed, but otherwise wouldn't have if I would've called a reputable shop in the first place.
Don't waste your time. This guy makes a living off of dishonesty and screwing people over.
FIND ANYONE ELSE IF YOU NEED TOWED!
Jared came to our rescue big time, went above and beyond in the freezing cold 60 miles from his shop to fix the busted wheel bearing on our bus, and charged us a very fair rate, way less than I thought his services were worth. Great fellow, Im glad I had the wheel bearing break where it did so it was him working on it, God was watching out for me. Thank you Jared!
I decided to give this guy a shot after seeing all the five-star reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was far from positive. While he was quick to accept the job and communicated well during the pickup process, things went downhill fast after that.
Communication became inconsistent and unprofessional. When he did reach out, it often involved personal issues—like his relationship problems—which are completely irrelevant and inappropriate in a business setting.
He kept my vehicle for over two months, charged me over $1,000, and ultimately didn’t fix the problem. When I shared my experience with others in the industry, multiple people warned me about his bad reputation.
It seems he prioritizes quick-cash jobs and doesn’t follow through on the work he’s already committed to. Don’t be misled by the 5-star reviews—my experience points to a greedy, unprofessional, and disorganized operation.
Saved us! After some impromptu off roading our Toyota Corolla’s valve stem decided to break, thankfully due to Jared’s round the clock service he had us fixed in no time flat and we were headed home after a long trip. If you ever have trouble in lake county make sure to call Timberline Mobile repair for service with integrity.
Great job towing both my truck and trailer! They were willing to stay within my towing insurance limits. The trailer was dropped at my home and the truck went to a separate location.
Wheel fell off on side of highway and of course on Labor Day weekend! Jared came out to where we were and fixed the bearing and wheel and got us on our way! Jared was very knowledgeable and kind. I would highly recommend him!
Jared is absolutely the best. We got a flat way in the desert, and unfortunately a blow out on the way in to Lakeview. He put the van up on his truck and into Lakeview in the middle of the night. Helped me fix the flat once we got to Lakeview. I couldn’t recommend a tow service more. Fast friendly and efficient.
My family was stranded on July 4th in the middle of a road trip and Jared drove to meet us, spent 2 hours fixing our van, taught us a lot about brakes, and got us back on the road. I am safe thanks to them. I forever will be grateful for them for helping me get to safety. I needed a jump an hour away in a heat wave and they made it happen even when others wouldn't. I was up a gravel road in the middle of nowhere and they were able to find me from my coordinates. Not every company is able to do this apparently, but Timberline could and made it happen!

I will be forever grateful that they came to my son's rescue! His car battery died near Alkali Lake during an extreme heat advisory. They went above and beyond to help him get out of the heat! The other place I called didn't want to "compromise their truck" by going off of the highway! Some people rise to the occasion and some just punch the timeclock I guess. Jared was totally awesome. I busted my oil pan on my motorcycle in the middle of nowhere. SAR team came out and picked me up, but I left the bike there. I'm 90 miles away from Lakeview, so I got in contact with Jared and gave him the lat/long where the bike was. He was able to get it and bring it over to KF for repairs. We had mechanical issues at the Sunstone public collection area, my partner has AAA but their "provider" would not answer calls out there as they say the completely average, gravel, Washboard roads are too "potentially hazardous"🙄.
Enter Timberline Towing, which was a name given as a "local vendor". And by "local" they meant Lakeview.
Jared was already returning from another desert job, so he was in the neighborhood (W/I 50 mi) to pick us up. He then towed us into Lakeview at an extremely reasonable price. Once here, he offered to use some of his many resources to help us in any way he could to get us down the road.
We ended up dollying the car back to Portland, but for the couple of days we were "stranded". Jared made sure we had adequate accommodations.
His service is top notch and he obviously has a passion for helping people. I can only give Timberline Towing the highest recommendation.

Jered was awesome! Shot a few pictures and with that he brought out a brand new axle and extra tires. Within an hour or less I was on the road again after he drove about 500 miles one way on highway 95. Middle of nowhere !

If I could, I'd give Jared and Timberline 100 stars! I was staying at an RV park just outside of Lakeview and lost my stupid car keys. No way to get back to Reno and no way to even move my trailer out of my assigned spot when my reservation was up. Tried calling the local Chevy dealership and they couldn't be bothered to even give us a quote let alone return three calls. I found Timberline and Jared had us back on the road with a new ignition lock/cylinder which he even keyed to the driver's door lock for me! And his rate was extremely reasonable! I can't say enough about Timberline except that if you need repair, mobile repair, towing or anything regarding you vehicle in or around Lakeview, don't bother looking elsewhere. I wish he was closer to my home as he would become my go-to auto guy. As it is, he's my Hero and I highly, highly recommend!
Jared was awesome! Was knowledgeable, communicative, and prompt. Was able to find us an affordable tire that fit my car after we popped a sidewall while camping. No other place was open nearby as it was a Sunday afternoon, but Jared came through for us!
