Company truck broke down and Gerlock got there as quick as they could considering today is a holiday. I didn't catch the drivers name but he's only been with the company 6 months and a youngster at 28 years old. He had a great attitude knew what to do and who to call to make sure everything was spot on. .
They understood my situation and still helped me get unstuck. They showed me how down to earth they are and if needed, I will be calling them. I’m grateful for their kindness and professionalism.🚛

I'm a company driver so I don't know any details behind cost or anything like that, but my truck broke down during rush hour and my tow was there within an hour and was very professional, answered my questions, and got the job done.
Second time I’ve called them and the service is excellent. My interactions with two different drivers have been beyond average customer service and I really feel like they care deeply about what they are doing and their customer. Very good communication and follow up. Great looking clean trucks, and equipment. They exude a sense of pride in what they do that isn’t too common anymore.

My company paid for the tow so I cant speak to price but speaking from my personal experience, there isn't another tow company I'd rather call.
I promise you wont find kinder more professional individuals out there than working at Gerlock towing.
I am Semi Truck driver, had a steer tire blow out causing a near death accident on a bridge in the middle of nowhere literally nearly 2 hours from the nearest city just outside a little place called Cathlamet WA I was there waiting since 3am for the original company that was called who were unable to help when they showed and when the Gerlock driver called me to let me know he was on his way and his ETA. Well he knew I'd been stuck on the side of the road for for over 7 hours and offered to bring food and drinks for me!
What an amazing gesture when your stranded, hungry and thirsty. Life saver!
Also so friendly to chat with felt like an old friend to be honest, after a while of chatting he even helped me further by giving me an amazing idea for an anniversary present for my wife.
Im terrible with names so I cant remember the exact drivers name but I know he had a brand new truck with just over 5000miles.
Oh and the truck was super nice and clean inside and the ride was great on the way back to the yard as well. If i could give 6 stars I would do so well deserved.
Broke down in my tractor trailer on the shoulder of 205. Marc showed up and went above and beyond what ive seen any other driver do. Made sure that i was safe upon my departure and was very polite ,friendly and more than helpful
Driver was friendly very polite he did everything as fast as he could took very good care of my equipment had about a thirty mile tow his driving very professional when we were on side of road hooking up he was very concerned for our safety as much as his over all a five star company for me as far as price it is what is most people don’t know there expenses I know mine and it’s not cheap I’m sure there insurance is way more than mine there one tow truck cost what three of mine do so there fore I don’t think they beat me up on the contract is I don’t have the equipment to town other vehicles will keep there number for future tows and I will recommend to others thank you gerlock towing
These guys are great! I had a very heavy truck and trailer jump the wheel chairman on a very steep hill and jack knife in a neighbors yard. It was precarious to say the least. I called several tow companies and they either didn’t have the right equipment or were not available. When I called Gerlock and spoke to Kalanie. He was very polite. He listened to the details of my situation and then requested photos. Once he had all the information he needed he dispatched immediately. They came from NE Portland to SW in about an hour at 5 pm, Impressive!
When the crew arrived, they assessed the situation and flawlessly executed the recovery.

This place should be every truckers go to. When my truck broke down on I-84, My company sent them out to tow tractor and trailer. Not only did I get a call from their dispatcher, but I also got a phone call from Norman, the driver who was coming to tow me back to my terminal. While on the phone, he told me exactly how everything was going to work when he got there and kept me updated step-by-step while he was working with my truck. We had great conversation and it’s nice finding somebody that’s friendly, professional, and still willing to shoot the breeze with you, especially when you’re already in a stressful situation.
Gerlock Towing was attentive to my needs, showed up on time and was fairly priced. Morgan was very professional and didn't waste time with the tow. I definitely would recommend Gerlock Towing.
Call went to AAA at 245p, Gerlock showed up 3 hrs later. Then the hydraulics on the truck had been disconnected and it took the driver 1.5 hours to reconnect the hoses before starting the tow. And it was the most expensive RV tow I've experienced in 20 years.
I dropped a liner in my motor up in Clackamas. Bad morning all together but then I called these guys and within 40 minutes I was hooked up to one of their wreckers and had to make a 5 1/2 hour trip to my mechanics in Medford. Luckily for me I had the best driver at Gerlock there with me. Norman knew his stuff and was awesome right from the get go. I would highly recommend Gerlock to anyone in Portland with a commercial vehicle.
