Bought a part that was shipped from there California location. No where did it show or was I told about there return policy. They shipped the wrong part, but by the time I could get in for someone to look at it a little over 30 days had passed. They did not want to return it even though it's their mistake. After a lot of complaining they gave me a partial refund. Better than nothing, but I still think I should have received a full refund due to it being there screw up and no police on any paperwork. 60 days like I assumed is not unreasonable. There supposed to be the professionals.
Incredibly rude on the phone and unhelpful. When I talked to them previously they said they would take my car if I had it towed to them. When I Made the arrangements to have it towed they told me I would have to take it to their sparks Nevada location. And proceded to give me the Nevada address and hang up.
I'm trying to let go of an old car with a blown motor. Called the roseburg,or location of this wrecking yard they said get the paperwork in hand and tow it down yourself, because I was too far away for pickup. Fine. I sorted out the paperwork, but it took like a month because the car isnt in my name. Called back to make sure I could just have it dropped off, didnt want to do anything wrong. The guy who answered the phone gave me nothing short clipped answers. Really seemed annoyed. I asked one more time for clarification that I could have the car dropped off. He said "it would have to go to our sparks location." I wasn't familiar so I asked "oh.. where's that?" He sighed and says "1705 Marietta way." I was like "oh ok. " And he says "yeah" and hangs up. Seems rude and by now im already feeling something wasn't right. So I check their website, trying to figure out the details. He is telling me to tow the car to sparks, Nevada! Are you serious? Im not paying that much to junk a car. The entire interaction was clipped and far from helpful. They might be good at what they do, but apparently it isn't customer service.
I really didn't want to leave even 1 star. They have a phone tree that you must navigate. That means you are hold, a long hold, while nobody will answer the phone. Where did customer service go?

Quality control and testing of used parts through these guys is spotty at best. When purchasing through them, the parts I recieve are almost always defective in some way. Broken pieces on everything, youd think their dismantlers use a sledge hammer for every job. Compression numbers on engines are almost always faked with oil in cylinders and the engine blocks labeled "good" quite often have cracks or gaping holes in the block or cylinder walls . Anything with a wiring harness comes snipped in half. If they have to ship something to a local yard, theres about an 85% chance it will be lost or delayed in transit. Prices are through the roof, expect to pay 800-1000 for a 150$ used engine with no or missing accesories and brackets on it. The only reason i continue to use them, is there are no other wrecking yards within 100 miles of me. And if you call their help line, expect to stay on hold for 20-45min minimum before anyone answers.
Nice and friendly customer service. I have went through them 2 or 3 times for auto parts first time I got a headlight that was so clouded up I couldn't use it. This second time I got a radiator and it was damaged so they shipped out for another radiator and then that radiator got here and I went to get it and took it home and I noticed I had another crack in it so now here I am waiting on 3rd radiator open it's a good one other than that I've had pretty good experience dealing with them I think I just have more of bad luck lol. always say they will call when ready but they've never called to let me know ive always had to call them or go check my emails this is the only issue find annoying personlly.
From the moment I walked in, the staff were very helpful, attentive, quick, and incredibly efficient. I was looking for an interior door handle, and although they didn't have what I needed, they pointed me in a different and more cost effecient direction.
Terrible, and rude. First time there looking around, and no one was willing to help or even point us in the right direction. Then got accused of being there previously and causing trouble?? Was my very first time there. Never going back
Bought tranny on 1/10/23 and was told it would be delivered on 1/13. Tranny not delivered. Called and was told it would be delivered 1/20. No delivered. Called and told it would be delivered 1/27. Not delivered. Called and was told it was on pallet and on its way and would be delivered on 1/30. Not delivered. Turns out it hasn't been pulled and employee straight out lied to me.
I have always had a very pleasant experience working with the manager Randy at this location, very friendly, helpful and parts are priced very fair. If they don’t have the parts on hand they have always been able to find another wrecking yard to refer to me to find the parts that i am looking for. I talked with Mitch yesterday at the Roseburg location. He was excellent in assisting me and answering my many questions. He was very helpful in finding the parts that I need. He was very courteous and knowledgeable and when I need another part I will definitely be calling Mitch again

When my vehicle finally reached the end of its life, I called this business to find out how to sell it for scrap. The representative asked me a few questions, then gave me a quote and a reference number. I walked into the office and was quickly greeted, signed over the title, received a check, and all was done. Very quick and easy, and the staff were incredibly friendly!
No complaints I've been getting parts here for years. They also give more than the metal scrap yard for used cars. I can't find assembled hubs for my old Toyotas anywhere else besides this wrecking yard. The people leaving negative reviews over phone calls I don't think they understand when you call unless there's a direct number I'm not aware of it routes to whichever b&r location answers first. Probably leaving bad reviews when they didn't even talk to this location.
I have replaced a door that exactly matched plus was looking for a mirror for the passenger side. The one they had didn't work, but they sent me photos and treated me as if I were the only customer they ever had!! Fabulous customer service and they will look for a part forever! Kudos to them and their many yards!!!
It's okay. If you pull the part yourself prices are great Parts Unlimited at that location they might have it at one of their other location that's a plus for me
When I was knee high to a grasshopper, going to the junkyard was one of my all-time favorite things to do. Of course this isn't the oldest junkyard in Douglas county, the one I grew up playing around is no longer in use.
At this one, employees all had masks on, it seemed to be a friendly atmosphere. I joked a little, we shared some laughter, and most importantly I got what I went in there for. Thank you so much guys.

This is not a one time experience
Particularly Tim. I called and asked if they had any wheels off of my car, a very common car. All I got was lots of "I don't know" and "come to the shop and we can talk about it"... Very annoying, rude and lazy customer service.
I'm a local who goes out of my way to help local businesses and these are the types of instances that turn me off from that. I'm sorry I even wasted my time to call in the first place. Caveman Auto Parts, there are more scrapyards than just you, maybe you should think about that.
They told me my part would be delivered by a certain time. When I went to check on it, I was told the higher ups had decided not to run trucks, so my part was not there and wouldn't be until Monday. Only reason I have it a 3 is because one person went out of his way to get the part to me as originally promised, and knocked $50 off.
The guys at Roseburg Auto Recyclers were so great! I had a wonderful experience today. Admittedly, I'm a little ignorant when it comes to cars and their parts. I was referred by my local shop to look for some wheels that would fit my car. I came out there totally unprepared to pick my own parts, but the guys took care of me like I was family. I will be back!
