12/2022, 10/2025: Still efficient and friendly. Old: They've actually gotten MORE efficient with covid. Impressive. Old 5* review: Of the various "dumps" I've used in different parts of the country this is the best. Not recreational by any means, but fast and organized. Can drop off recyclables without any hassle.

It was a good day to go in and drop off some unloved materials!! In & out all under 20 minutes!! And, this being Hazardous Waste drop off day!! Sa-Weet timing!!

It always seems to move pretty fast if there is a long line of vehicles. And friendly staff.

I go here to recycle boxes or extra stuff that won’t go in my bin. Super easy drive up

This is the GO-TO place to recycle common things or pay to dump your trash. The place has cameras and they are getting tighter on their rules. Plus, yard help is getting more grabby with customers vehicles. They recycle the following: Certain days to recycle household paint & pesticides. Or everyday to recycle most electronics, motor oil, metal, cardboard, glass, florescent tubes, most plastics, and pay to dispose of used auto batteries. Call for anti-freeze and automatic transmission fluid disposal.

I was there as they were about to be closing the gates with my dually absolutely packed. They still allowed me in and said just make it fast. The guys that operate the loader and work in the dump building helped me unload and even handed me a broom so I could sweep my GMC bed out. It was more than what any of them had to do. Sorry for keepin yall late. Absolutely amazing customer care

The woman at the entrance was extremely rude. She yelled at me! I sure hope this woman is not the first person to come in contact with the public. She should not be working with public citizens. Please find someone more suitable to interact with the public.

Well, it's the dump. But the staff is always friendly and you get to get rid of some of the mistakes you made in life. Heads up, they don't take bodies rolled up in carpet, don't ask me how I know.

Jacob was super helpful in the recycling center! Excellent customer service!

Best facility that I have experienced. Commingled recycling is very refreshing. Also no fees for old paint. The origins of the "dump" was to keep it from being buried in the backyard or thrown on the side of the road. Please continue to keep it inexpensive and easy to keep our county beautiful.

This comment is directed at Fair Fair. I hope you are able to read my comment which is "Please google Waste Management or WCA Settlement". There is a class action settlement right now that is taking place because of what you exactly described. Here's a bit of how the settlement reads.......You may be entitled to payment if you paid fuel or environmental fees or surcharges to WCA Waste Corporation and/or to any of its affiliated companies (collectively “WCA.”) The class action lawsuit was filed against WCA alleging WCA improperly charged “fuel surcharges” (also called “energy recovery fees”) and environmental fees. A settlement of this lawsuit has been reached. Under the proposed settlement, you may be entitled to payment if you paid one of the above fees from November 4, 2008 (or statutory date, if applicable) through April 17, 2017. Not sure if you fit into any of the categories for the lawsuit but def check into it. Good Luck to you and anyone else who got taken for their money. Big corporations need to understand that it's us,the little people who pay for their high living. Corporate GREED needs to STOP and we are the only ones who can make that happen!

The hard working employees provide a very efficient way for the community to deal with there refuse. It's a very efficient operation, usually will little wait. We have 5 large trash cans that we use to hold our bags of refuse. When full, we plan our shopping at Wal-Mart to go along with "trash day." The cost of hauling our own trash to the Transfer Station is a fraction of the cost for home pick up service. This is quite a bit of savings. Thanks for a job well done.

This place is always on top of keeping lanes clear for people to dump, and nice employees. And the phone # is correct, mrs dinwiddie was apparently just needing something to complain about.
