Quick easy efficient it's a scrap yard apparently I went in at a shity time or scrap prices were pretty low feel like I should have got a little more out of what I had but it's scrap metal

Dropped by on a Saturday morning with a couple hundred pounds of aluminum scrap. The line was short and the employees were friendly. There's clear signage directing you to where you need to to be. Have your ID ready and be prepared to give them an address to send your check if you happen to be selling them scrap like I did. It was a fast and pleasant process overall in my experience.

Great place to dump your scrap metal. First time you come here, stop at the office then afterwards you can just drive back to the scale with your vehicle. Difference between your checkin and checkout weights determines how much moola you get handed. Easy peasy.

Was charged for 180 lbs of tin at 9 dollars, despite 90% of my items being of non-tin material. Go somewhere else that will give you fair market value for your metals. Receptionist was rude when I called to confront this issue and pushed back when I claimed otherwise.

I wanted to recycle some rims so I called in advance to find out prices and was told . 68cents per pound for aluminum rims took them in and only got $16 for them when I should have gotten $120 come to find out tires have to be off them but nobody told me this over the phone or at the scrap yard little bit of info can go along way had someone told me before hand

The office people and other assistants were great. The operator that took the car off didn’t do what I asked to prevent glass going everywhere. Late or not it’s still a service that is being provided.

Easy to drop off metal recycling. Simple to pull up to the scale, drop strap and then collect payment on/at the second scale. I've dropped of refrigerators. $15 each. Just remove the compressor first.

Live right down the street. Been going for years. Went 2 weeks ago. Brought in about 400 pounds of scrap. Did everything, went to sign the paper and got back $30. The paper quoted me that is should have been $130. They literally took off $100 and just didn’t say anything. I realized once I got home and didn’t wanna go back since when I got there the front lady was making a big deal about someone asking about if they scrap battery’s or something. All she need to do was call and ask the guy. Seems like everytime I go in there I try to say hi but she always has an attitude. And I’ve lived down the street for 12 years. I guess we’ll see next time I go in if it’s different. If it is i will update my review. But until I actually have a good experience where they tell you how much you are getting for your scrap and not just hand you a paper to sign without making any communication. (Last 3 times she just slides you a paper and doesn’t say a word till you sign it like it’s routine to not tell the people.)Even my buddies told me I got scammed. Just sucks because they are 2 mins down.

You are supposed to be open until 400.pm. on Saturdays. Its 330 Sat December 9th and you are closed. We drove all the way here with a half hour to spare and you are closed. And closed on Sunday. Thanks if you close at 330 then say that. Is it that hard to post the actual time you close

Always fast and great service. When the line is long its still a quick trip in and out. They wont pay you as much for metals in Portland as some of the other Recycling places.

Worlds best people n worlds best business. Most honest n always polite unless you give them other reasons. Will always be my scrapyard till the end.

Inconvenient if you’re just trying to get rid of an old water heater. I don’t need the nine dollars. I’m just trying to get rid of it. The guys working the cranes make you sit there for 15 minutes instead of letting you just drop it off. Drive over to Ferguson plumbing supply, and you can just drop it off instantly and drive away.

Dropped off some scrap superfluously eleventh hour after chillging (Chill Binging) all day. The staff were as helpful and chippersome as an unsullied mormon girl heading towards prom night. Which was a freath of brash air to be overly optimistified. The accompanying deluge of Exaccurate information was on point and in the right key. I would most assuredly recommendate this humble establishment to any and all over who seek Green backs in exchange for there metal that is no longer required.

Got quoted 60 bucks for our catalytic converter. RRC CATS offer us 300. Seems like a big desperage in offers. May want to think twice b4 going here.

RS Davis is the best!! Usually higher prices than other places around town. Nice clean area to unload, usually busier right before they close and on the weekends, but I've never waited longer than 15/20 mins. Go here for all your scrap/metal/wire recycling needs!

Great place to take your scrap metal.. the employees are always friendly, and every experience I've had with them has been great.

Very well run and organized. The front desk worker was kind and the guy at the scale helped me hand unload my scrap. Definitely prefer going here.

I used them for the first time for both ferrous and nonferrous metals. In short, there service was very good, as were their prices. I was very pleased with them and plan to use them again.

My boyfriend always comes to this location to return his scrap metal. Great return for your metal and helpful staff!!

Workers that weigh your ferus metals are not trained in identifying grade. I lost a substantial amount of money by going here. Also, copper piping from my pile mysteriously came up missing. Dont go here if you want a fair price for your metals. This isn't the first time this has happened too me.

I was able to drop off a catalytic converter from an old project car for cash. They pay about 48 hours after drop off. Better than putting it into a landfill, even if it is only a little bit of money. They take computer parts and batteries and just about any other type of metal as well.

Quick and easy service. Employees were more than helpful when I was confused as to what to do as it was my first time there. A nice gentleman even helped me lift my super heavy TVs out of the back of my truck.

Staff was friendly and educational as I had never utilized metal recycling services before and they explained the process step-by-step. Efficient as it didn't take much time to get in and out. Pricing seemed fair and it was nice to get $ for getting rid of old appliances. Thank you R.S. Davis crew!

I am a hobby level scrapper in and out several times a month. I go extra miles to use RSDs service because of the helpful, courteous and welcoming people who work there. Facility is always improving and the crane operators super competent, have not scared me once. Good outfit.

I've been going for years and have used them at least 40 times and I've never experienced anything but professionalism . Sometimes I think people that get treated poorly are treating people in the same manner. Start with a smile you'll get a smile. :-) What goes around comes around.

Great place! Very helpful and friendly staff. Explained how I could get more money if I would separate clean and dirty non ferrous metals. They were courteous and helped me unload my pickup. Better prices than the other places I looked. Recommended.

I can't say I've used anyone else, but R.S. Davis sure hasn't given me a reason to try. I feel that they are fast, easy to work with, efficient, and fare. If you've never been here before it can be kinda' confusing, but the office explains how everything works fairly well. I occasionally bring in scrap from old plumbing systems, that I've separated (Clean Brass: no other metals, valves with handles removed, etc.) (Dirty Brass: Faucets, etc.) (Clean Copper: fittings/valves removed) etc. etc. I put in work to get the most out of what I have, and they honor that. Five stars all the way guys, keep up the good work!

Got ripped off when scrap prices are so low... Had 65-70+ lbs of dirty aluminum, Had 80% Steel but was paid out in tin weight for everything. Plus you had to rob me the extra 20lbs when the scale said 1000lbs 90%of the time I was sitting there. Just a bad and pointless experience. I didn't come there to get rich by any means, the service was poor, and then never given the correct price after even separating all of the scrap for them. Id rather give my scrap away to a tweaker than come back to your location and get ripped off again, yet get lousy service.
