What clients say about Copart - Tulsa in Tulsa (OK)
I'm attempting to work with CoPart through my insurance company for a damaged vehicle. The professionalism simply isn't there so far.
I called CoPart at noon today to synchronize a pickup. I was told there was a driver who was looking for work, and she'd pass my information along and he'd call me.
A few hours go by, and I've heard nothing. At 3:30pm I call again just to verify, and I'm told that the driver should have already called me and the car should already be gone. She tells me she'll call the driver and have him call me.
Another hour goes by. Still nothing. It's 4:30, and the office closes as 5. I go through the song and dance again asking what's going on. I'm told dispatch is going to call the driver and he'll call me.
Now it's 4:55. I call one more time and the lady on the phone very obviously isn't happy I'm calling. I explain the situation for the fourth time that day, and she tells me they don't guarantee same day pickup, and she's "sorry [you're] upset but we have a 24-48 hour turn around window". She also apparently doesn't show that anyone else has reached out to this driver.
Okay. If you have that window, why did three other people tell me it was on the roster today? Apparently, none of them followed through like they said they would. And you damn well shouldn't tell me it's getting grabbed today if there was no chance for that. Absolutely displeased working with this company, and they haven't even taken possession of the vehicle yet.
Definitely pulled all things out of the vehicle I don't need, since I'm seeing a ton of posts about stuff getting stolen. Regretting this transaction already. Guess I'll call again tomorrow and see what sort of nonsense they throw at me then.
Very but very poor customer service you can’t rev the car like a normal customer
They will kick you out if they feel like you hurt their feelings manager is very rude protects their workers I guess good customer service doesn’t exist for them, these people are not recommended!
Seems to me that they wanted to have a conflict with me got the cops called on n all they employees attacking me. Didn’t want to hear a word of my side and went against me instead of checking their employee. Bought 4 cars from here that has had more issues then thought, they hide damage, n fees high . They don’t let u test em nor even touch the pedal before they start calling the cops. Even the cops they on the wrong. (BLOCKED MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT GIVING MY DEPOSIT BACK). First pic is the manager who can’t control their Own/Employee emotions and act foolishly instead of resolving the issue and do business, she worries about her emotions and does impulsive decisions. Last pic, The employee that got mad bc he didn’t want to wait on me to finish checking out a vehicle.
The process of picking up a vehicle is the worst I have ever experienced. I will not be purchasing any vehicles from this place. It is a scam and is charging me storage fees because of the way a vehicle has to be scheduled and picked up. I do Not recommend this business at all.
My vehicle had very minor damage to it from a bumper to bumper. It was taken to Copart for my insurance claim. When I got it back there was new damage on the front bumper that was caused by them utilizing a large forklift to move the vehicles. I talked a manager, Alex, who refused to acknowledge the damage despite it being visible in the photo they took prior to it being deliver back to me.
If I could give NEGATIVE stars I would. My vehicle was sent here to be inspected ON THE OUTSIDE by an insurance adjuster (this car was in no way near damaged enough to be impounded or anything). Some jealous P.O.S at their facility cut my HS and UNIVERSITY tassels from my REARVIEW MIRROR, obviously on the INSIDE. Instead of them removing them they treated them like they were trash. They didn’t even try to remove them properly. I was not told I needed to remove them from inside of my car, or I would have. Apparently, upon reading other reviews, they have absolutely no respect for anyone’s things. I WILL be in contact with them and I better get a good explanation as to why this happened.
Finally got ahold of someone so I could go clean out my car and get my drivers licenses and debit card out. Have 4 kids and we are in the car a lot during the week so we had a lot of things in there including my art bag, sketch book, papers from art class that I teach. Opened the door and found they cleaned out my car and THREW EVERYTHING AWAY. Said my personal items would be in a envelope. Well obviously everything in there was my personal items including kids coats, shoes, their stuffies, ect.
Never found my debit card or ID either. When I opened up the envelope only a few random pieces of paper were in there including this note.
Hopefully I never have a wreck again but I will refuse to use this place that's for sure.
Bad experience. My daughter's birthday necklaces, somehow, got lost in inventory. Not enough compassion or empathy for customers already dealing with total loss situations or near death experiences from car wrecks. Some employees here may need, a bit, of empathy training. Lots of misinformation between employees for this company. My car looks worse than after the wreck when I got it back. I wasn't even able to view my car or drive it forward or back at their lot to see if I needed it towed or not. It was so obvious that it wasn't driveable by just looking at it. They forgot my tag and other personal items and I had to use gas, time, and energy to drive all the way back to retrieve these items. I was told they don't reimburse for gas, even though it was their mistake of leaving these items out. Overall, just not a good experience. #mymentalhealthmatters #blackmentalhealthmatters
Staff was nice enough. Like every other Copart facility, they will not assist with any type of heavy salvage, even though they charge. I even had to move a semi to get to mine. And again like every other Copart facility the control module is always stolen out of every single Freightliner with a Detroit.
My car was there for a couple days and when I went to pick it up Copart decided to clean out my car and steal ALOT of my stuff including a new car seat that was just given to me and the only thing I had left of a great friend of mine that passed which was a gold necklace that was over 50 years old. I'm devastated.
What right do they have to empty out my car and take my stuff. I admit my trunk was packed with stuff. Who knows what else they took.
Not having that necklace breaks my heart.
Thank you for reading.
This review is for the application process. Customer service during that process was great. But in order to be a basic member, you are automatically registered to bid in several states. So besides providing a copy of your driver's license (which is no problem), you must provide a power of attorney, so someone else can pick up vehicles you purchased, etc. I only wanted to bid in my state, and pick up my own vehicles. Had to request a refund; maybe Copart should think about that type of membership. I might have spent some money with you.
My insurance sent my car here after my daughter's wreck. As others have mentioned they have some of the rudest staff I've ever encountered. Make sure you scan the qr code on the door, or you will be ignored and treated as if you are stupid. We tried to pick the car up after we called and were told we could. They told my wrecker they don't pull cars after 4. Not what they told us on the phone. When I finally was able to get in the next day I had to reimburse them for the tow. They told me a different price than my insurance had told me, and then told me they couldn't take a debit card for a buy back. I kept explaining it wasn't a buy back, I was reimbursing them, but they don't listen. I haven't seen the inside of the car since my wrecker took it straight to a mechanic, but after reading the stories of stuff missing, I'm worried.
Don't let your insurance take your car here!!!! Find someone with people that actually understand customer service.
Went to get on the transportation app and could not schedule. I called Oklahoma city location and was told they have been having issues with it and so I was told to go and pick it up. I decided to call Tulsa location and they told me I didn't have an appointment and they was booked out. I informed them it would not let me schedule so they put the supervisor on the phone named Shannon whi was very rude and treated me like I was a piece of trash. I had to turn around and drive back to Oklahoma city. I called the Oklahoma city location again they was super helpful and said tulsa should have let me pick up what I paid for and they have heard how rude the Tulsa location was. Never again will I buy from Tulsa with Shannon working there and I advise anyone looking to pass this location up.
Horrible customer service. We walked in and stood at the counter while 7 -8 different people looked at us and didn't say anything. Then get told to check in using the qr scanner which said it'll be 10 min wait... its been 20 min.. There's only 3 customers here and nobody being helped. Horrible service I'd leave 0 stars if I could.
My camper was taken there while I was negotiating with the Insurance company, they totaled it and when I go to get it, this is what happened!
This place is a joke. Made me wear a mask, then I go in and the boss is not wearing one! I said something and the ladies were very rude!
Once I got to my camper to get it, they had poked a forklift fork through the window, (in pic in upper left corner), look and tell me that does not look like made from their forklift. Above window is flat spot same width of a fork! I showed them pics of it before it was taken there when at Camping World. When I question it, they insisted to me it came in that way and nothing they can do. A total coverup and lie!!
Good luck going there, they are not nice people.
Bought an F250 Ford truck at auction. Called to ensure loading protocol. They said yes they would load it. Checked twice on this with affirmative each time. Went there to pick up and they said they couldn't load. Had the hire someone else off site to load the pickup. Nice people and they were polite but not very knowledgeable about their loading rules. They should have let me talk to someone in loading istead of guessing and maybe state on the listing whether the vehicle in question is loadable. This is usually how it works in a take it or leave it industry.
DO NOT LET YOUR INSURANCE SEND YOUR CAR HERE!! They stole multiple Native American family heirlooms I had in my car from a funeral hours before my wreck. I informed the general manager and she couldn’t take me seriously if her life depended on it. This is a hate crime. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.
The fees are a bit pricey. More often than not they are helpful in difficult situations. Over the phone seems to be 50/50 on catching a polite employee. Chasity is such a sweetheart and has A+ customer service. I've gotten many good deals.
Waited outside in the blistering heat for over 30 minutes, with a rented trailer just to get turned away for an already paid for car. Website says they're open til 5, but they refuse to help starting at 4. God forbid the general manager have some customer service and integrity. At least there's one lady at the counter is kind and polite.
Great inventory of cars. Auction prices are fair, but watch out for the hefty administrative fees. Customer service is really slow during Covid. Don't expect to get in and out quickly at the end of the day. Remember, you'll need a safety vest to inspect vehicles.
Copart is a good resource for salvage vehicles that can be purchased without a dealer's license. That being said, the fees have become over the top. When you can almost certainly bet that auction fees and commissions will run in excess of $1000+, is it really necessary to charge $25 for a guest that is along with a registered member? Copart is quickly becoming the airline of auctions, fees in every possible way. Office people seem stretched thin, they're friendly but looks like they're being asked to do lot with only a few.
Please note that while the website says that you can still preview a vehicle, that's not allowed due to covid.
That being said, they will work with you, Rachel was kind enough to have one specific vehicle pulled out back for me. Incredibly kind and unexpected.
My experience with the staff has been a friendly one.
My experience buying a car here has been even better. I bought a reliable vehicle for the cheapest amount IN MY LIFE.
Thank you Copart for everything you do!
love this auction the best auction I've ever been to my company buys all of our trucks and sells most of our equipment there the staff is very helpful friendly and are willing to do whatever you needwhen looking for a car or have something to sell I highly recommend Copart West is absolutely great at his job and will do anything for you
Copart agreed to buy my car. They said they would call me to meet me at the shop that was storing it for me and have a check for the purchase and I was to turn over my title. I had not been by to empty out my car and told the girl at the desk I needed to be there to meet the wrecker service. She said they would call me first to let me know they were going to pick it up. I never got a call so I called Copart and asked them when they were planning on picking up the car. To my surprise they said it had already been picked up. They said I could go through it at their yard at 2408 W. 21st, Tulsa. When I did money I had stored in the car was missing.
Called for a tow and told it would be 2 hours. 2 hours later and no tow truck. Called and the women said the driver wasnt answering and didnt know how long it would be. Ended up having to cancel the tow and called another company who was way quicker and cost the same.
What great and professional people! They were most helpful with managing my vehicle paper work, advising me on my pike pass cancellation, and they even accommodated my schedule with ON TIME pick up. Sherry, Rachel & Leena are THE BEST! They ALL know what they are doing and you can trust their advise.
Went to pick up my wifes belongings out of her car after it got totalled. They were very friendly and polite. Didn't have to wait to long. None of her belongings were missing. Sherry was A+ I had all my documents in order I was in and out very quick.
