Used parts are more expensive than a brand new i had to show price $7.99 car part online which is he was asking me $15 for door handle .after he saw the new part price he sold me for $4
I've been to Midwest ten times, and it has consistently been a good overall experience, even the one time they didn't have the exact part I needed.
In comparison to several other yards I've visited, the experience on the lot at Midwest is pretty good. Not as good as some but better than most and humble enough to stick with a 2 dollar entry fee. Very cool.
Their website could use some improvements, but for me, they offer the best online access to what is currently (and actually) in the yard.
My advice: Make Midwest a destination on your personal quest for used auto parts.
Purchased an engine that Midwest claimed had been tested and ran fine. Installed the engine and it did not run. Midwest has failed to honor their 90 warranty. Dont believe for a moment that their parts are quality tested or that they will refund your money when the parts fail.
Best prices in the area. I pulled one window for $20. Went right down the street to LKQ and pulled the other side I needed (same glass) and it was $45. I won't be back to LKQ. I'll only use Midwest Pull N Save from now on.
Is not open till 6pm just fyi. Drove all the way out there and got there at 5pm figured I’d have plenty of time to get a small part for my door, nope sorry were closed already.. Wish they would change the time on here really sucks driving a hour round trip for nothing.
The yard is on level ground, which is nice. They have a website that allows you to check out the inventory of vehicles currently in the yard. Very convenient. I got skunked on my visit, which meant that I was unable to find the parts I was looking for. I needed front-end parts, and the perfect match car was smashed in the front all the way to the firewall . It happens. The staff is friendly. I will visit again.
We went in there to pull a part for a vehicle. You have to pay $2 to just walk through the door to go in to pull your part kind of don't understand that but I guess I do sort of because they have to make the money some way. It was very clean and well taken care of in the office so all in all a very good experience I had to go sit in the car because I was wearing flip-flops you cannot wear flip-flops if you go and pull your own part.
Went to LKQ for a window regulator and was quoted $75!!! Autozone has them for $81 BRAND NEW!!! Went to Midwest PnS and got it for $25!!! Midwest is the ONLY place I go for car parts.
Nate helped me out on a transmission for my 2007 Silverado 4x4. he has good people skills.and a excellent knowledge of his job. I will return if I need parts again.
Love getting the things I need for my vehicle at a fraction of the price that I'd have to pay at the parts store and just pennies on the dollar compared to the dealer's price for the same item. The bonus is that you can return anything for store credit as long as you keep your receipt, so bonus, right?
Great place to look for some working used parts when money is tight and you need to fix something on your vehicle but can't afford it. This place can possibly have the part you need that's used but in working condition at a unbeatable price even with a warranty.
Got a broken car, need some parts. Hopefully they have the car you need with the parts still available. They had only one 99-04 mustang in their system, we checked it out and it didn't have the parts. Looked two cars down and they had another one with everything we needed, this car wasn't in the system. So we lucked out.
I was in need of certain parts for my car, and I'm on limited income, and the price on the parts are very reasonable. You pull it and save money, and the staff are very friendly, and they can pretty well tell you where the vehicle is for thar vehicle
I called and talked with DeeDee. She was SO helpful and didn’t make me feel dumb about part numbers. The other ladies in Pick Up were super nice and helpful too.
I was looking for Ford F-150 parts for a 2001 model. They have a great selection of Ford F-150 trucks. The parts are cheap and come with a 7 day warranty.
You just have to pull your own parts.
They have two wheeled barrels for parts and tools.
