Was looking for a tailgate for a 04 Chevy. They said it would be $200 which is way to much for a salvaged tailgate, especially considering I purchased a passenger side door with window and a driver's side window from them for less than 150 for the same truck a few years back. It's salvage parts not new. Ordered a new tailgate with lift assist from Amazon for the same 200 price tag and it's all NEW parts.
They didn't have the rim I needed but they sure did find one and have it delivered for me to pick up at a very fair price. Needless to say I'm very pleased with this place of business!
I have used A1 auto parts and salvage three times and they have always had the part I needed and the service is quick and courteous. I highly recommend them for any of your parts needs.
This place is a Joke, I wanted to buy a Nissan versa engine, they had it, I paid a portion just to take it out of the car, then they called me saying: hey we just took the engine out, come and see it, so I went the same day and they said it’s in the other building, in the other building they did not know what I was talking about, then I went back to the office they said is in the other building. I stayed more then one hour and at the end I was told come back tomorrow because we can’t find the engine!
Basically they lost a motor that was just pulled out this morning!
I had to have a back window replaced on a truck. The staff was very nice and their products are high quality. I did not know what to expect as far as pricing, but they were very reasonable. If I ever need another part, I will definitely go back to A-1.
I asked for a part for a vehicle and they said they would have to take it off. They called a few days later and said that the part was ready .I'm driving about 70 miles 2 way. When I get there , they wanted to sell me an aftermarket part.Not what I wanted at all !!
I wanted original parts.
The lady I called on the phone named Amanda was so helpful! She worked with me and was kind and patient! Will definitely be using A1 again in the future!!
I will have to disagree with some of the previous posts. This is a small auto salvage in comparison to really large corporations. The folks here are extremely friendly, and they’re limited at the counter as to how many questions they can answer, because so many people come in to make a purchase. I bought these hubcaps for the Ford F150 steel wheels. I was able to put two on the passenger side but they wouldn’t stay on the driver side and it took a little bit to figure it out the steel two piece wheels from Ford tend to separate overtime and when they do they separate by about a quarter of an inch which will not let the hubcap stay in place. What impressed me about A1 auto parts and salvage is when I went back and ask questions about the wheels and ask if they had aluminum factory wheels they did, and they let me apply the cost of the other hubcaps and return them towards the purchase of these wheels. Not only that, I decided to take one wheel back because I had decided it wasn’t the one I wanted, and they gladly traded me one out. I felt like i was wasting their time and she assured me i was not. If you’re looking for a place that is willing to work with you and offer good prices for the goods they have this is the place And the lady at the counter is extremely nice and very welcoming.
They pull the parts for you but still give great prices! Their computer system allows you to call and check if they have your part available. Lastly, they are fast and efficient. I went prepared for a long wait but I was out in less than 10 minutes for a wheel. And the alloy wheel for my car looks better than the ones I already had. A whopping $60 for a nice wheel seems like a pretty good deal, considering I had a quote for $270. Even on a popular auction website, the wheel was listed at more than $130.
lady at desk was really rude and didn’t help with the questions i asked she looked like she didn’t t know what she was doing worse salvage yard in tulsa area.
I love the 35 dollar starter i bought that they had ready for me. I took it home it worked i am happy . verry happy. They were honest nice and i will be doing my business there
Paid 1,900 for a motor that has a lifter about to go through the roof. They only gave me a 30 day warranty and I see why now that the shop has finally had time to get my motor done beware and MAKE SURE you get to hear it run before they pull motor. Now have to go spend even more on another motor and take a L on theirs.
Just wanted a 90s Chevy cluster, called and was told they would get back with us didn’t hear back for over an hour. We stopped by to see if they had found anything to be met with an extremely rude front desk lady, we brought our cluster in and one of the workers marked on it with a yellow marker, on a 30 year old original part by the way and did not ask if he could tag it that way, haven’t seen our part back in over 30 minutes. Just like the rest of the junk yards in Tulsa. Total waste of time.

I was looking to sell a vehicle after a collision and called at least a dozen places looking for the best value. A-1 gave me the most fair deal, was prompt, professional, courteous, and went above and beyond what I would have ever expected.
My son had some items in the trunk we could not get to post-accident. Tanner helped us out after the fact, recovered said merchandise, and personally saw to it that we got it back. I’m certain he had more important things to tend to but he was happy to help us. The kind of customer service I’m not familiar with these days.

A1 auto is everything but professional from the customer service all the way down to there parts. When you call just ask for TIM!! he's a real people's person, NOT!!! I placed an order to pick up parts first thing on Friday. TIM reassured me that if i paid for my part in advanced they would be ready for pickup. My wife drove 4 hours to pick-up parts which was not ready. Instead they were absolutly disrespectful to her saying(that they said they told me they would call when the parts were ready). I told Tim I wasn't going to buy the parts unless I could pick them up on Friday which was 3 days away . Of course I got the salesman speech, oh yea no problem! Needless to say save your time and money and shop elsewhere.
Very short on the phone ended up hanging up on me after I asked 2 questions had a few more to follow up on availability of parts. Less than helpful will definitely not be calling or purchasing from again. Been on the Phoenix with most all salvages in tulsa and this is the only I would not go back to.
