Bought a dodge diesel complete 5.9motor and from roberts truck has never ran right from the time of being installed blows black smoke, after 2 different diesel mechanics replaced all 6 injectors with Bosch injectors still no change. Truck spent 2 year setting either at my house or at a shop trying to get to the bottom of the issue. Now 3rd mechanic runs the Engine serial number finds out it's a 2003, Robert's salvage won't admit that they sold me a 2003 , thereceipt states it is a 2006
Both mechanics have put 2006 injectors into truck because of what the receipt and salesman told me.
Absolute top notch service! Inquired about the parts at 2:30 and they were delivered by 9AM the next day and we are 160 miles from them. Have confidence in Roberts Salvage they do good business.
I called from Dallas, needing a side mirror I saw they had in stock online. I talked to Shawn, and he quickly found what I needed, told me a price, took my info and told me it would be the next day before they could pull it. They pulled it, shipped it the next day, as promised. It arrived in Dallas in 1 day. The part was exactly as described and installed perfectly. Shawn was friendly to the point and prompt. I couldn't be happier.
Roberts pick and pull is the best with prices you can afford the men at the counter are always helpful especially Keith you want a part go there you won't regret it
I went to Roberts to buy a steering knuckle for a Dodge and they told me it would take them a few hours and they would call me back when they had it pulled. I called on Friday for the part and here it is Tuesday and still no call. I pulled my old part off
my truck in 10 minutes and they can't get it done in 4 days. James is very rude and condescending.
Can't seem to do business here after 3x. Heck they posted a wheel online, i showed up to purchase at 215pm, they told me they couldn't pull it that day. Never again will i go there!
Maybe have the parts that you actually list. Also don't be rude when someone calls you out on the fact that you don't have what you show to have. You are the reason salvage yards have bad names!
Very good experience! Had what they said, saved it till I could get there. Extremely helpful to look for other parts I needed . Extremely organized! James is the BOMB!!
Great selection of parts vehicles. Very organized. Easy to find the parts you need. Even though it is a self service place there was courteous helpful staff on site in the yard. The only thing I didn't like was I had pulled some parts and put them at the end of the row, went to another vehicle for a different part, when I came back to get my parts the same courteous people had picked them up and put them back in a span of about 10 minutes. This should be done closer to the end of the day instead of as customers are rounding them up, but in all fairness they do provide wheelbarrows.
I called after I got off work today (Friday) looking for a hub assembly that fits my 09 Pontiac G6. The man says they have one for “ ‘bout fifty bucks”. I asked if there’s any way he can do $40.
“Nope can’t help you.”
I explain to the man that I only have $46.
“Can’t help ya.”
I know the part at the pick and pull is under $15 but it’s 4:47 and pouring down rain. I don’t mind working in the rain but the way the people drive around here when it rains you’d think it was 6” of ice on the ground. I’m a dad. My wife and I both work full time jobs to take care of our three kids 5, 4 and 2. And because Robert’s salvage couldn’t show a little compassion, we don’t have the part to fix our car that is used for our livelihood. Thanks guys. Real classy.
UPDATE! I made it to Robert’s pick and pull on time. Wait til you see what happened there. The fun just continued!
Steve was very helpful locating my part. After I ordered the part I needed he realized it was no longer in stock. He called me back immediately and ordered a replacement part. And called me as soon as it came in. I also like doing business with them because its a local business.
I called and asked how many grand ams did they have. He counted and said 21. I came down, paid a few dollars to get in, and pulled a trunk off. Paid about 40 bucks for it and they reimbursed the entry fee. Guy was nice. I had to find someone to watch my daughter, kids are not allowed in the yard.
These individuals are extremely rude and ignorant. My father and sister went to this place where they tried to separate them. They claimed that they would not allow my sister to accompany my father. The interstate commerce act was explained to them to which they replied that they didn't care what the law is! Don't do business here. We never will.
Called about a mustang motor and they told me everything I needed to know. The condition of the motor, what I needed for it and how much right on the spot. Steve went out of his way to provide pictures of the engine and bumped my price down by 75 bucks. Super nice and cut straight to the chase. Wasn’t in the shop for 10 mins and they had my motor in the truck before I could even pay. Definitely going to come back and snag more parts! Steve needs to be promoted!
Needed a wheel for my wife's Charger. Nobody in Arkansas had it. Talked to Shaun at Robert's Salvage, he had one for fifty bucks. Thirty five dollars less than the local salvage yards had told me. Called me back and told me the only one he had was bent, so he sold it to me for ten dollars. My wife picked it up and when I got it the bend was simply a slight wave in the rim edge. A few good whacks with a hammer got it straight. I would highly recommend these guys based on honesty and price.
I called to get some prices on pedal assemblys and clutch master cylinders and they were very friendly, and they answered all my questions thoroughly. Will definetly stop buy for some parts when I swap my auto tranny for a 6 speed.
Whoever answers the phone here is rude and condescending about your lack of mechanical knowledge and not very customer friendly. Seemed like he didn't want to help and hurry up and get off the phone. Needles to say, another salvage yard down the road got my money. I will never buy anything from this place.
