I just wanna say a huge thank you to mike, I had absolutely no idea how I was gonna get my bumper fixed without having to pay an arm and a leg. He put the part on and fixed it and he was so nice and walked me threw what he was going to do great customer service. All around 10/10 recommend.
I broke down in the road 2 hrs from home on an Sunday evening. I called the wrecker service and the gentleman was quick in their response to answer how long before vehicle could be picked up. He said 45 minutes, and it was 45 minutes. I inquired about who to take my vehicle to for repairs, and they gave me this suggestion. They called 1st thing Monday morning with the estimate of the repairs, and how long to take. Had some additional work done, and all completed in the time period they originally told me. I did not have sticker shock when it was picked up, the price charged was what was quoted. I would recommend to use them, and if need, will do so again!
Bought a transmission, had it installed. That's went great. Went back for a motor and was told the fluids was topped off and come to find out there was no fluids in it. Called and was told they don't put fluids in it. If that is the case than why wouldn't you let us know so we could bring fluids with us or so we could go get some before we drive the vehicle home. Not Good Business.
Purchased a motor, they said it was tested and ran fine. When mechanic installed said it had no compression on any cylinder. And that there was noway such a bad motor had ran. When ask for refund they said no, that they would exchange for another motor, after having to eat the labor on this one wasnt trusting them to replace with a good one. These people are crooked liars, would give zero stars if I could. DONT TRUST THIS PLACE!!
My stepdaughter ended up in the ditch when she was on her way home. One of the guys from Claremore Auto Parts had his tow truck and got her truck out of the ditch in no time at all. Great customer service, and the price was right! Thank you so much!
I've got lots of parts from Steve over the last 20 plus years and I used to love the place but the last 5-7 years the prices are the same or more than brand new parts 90%of the time and their warranty doesn't come close to buying new. Also he's real bad about giving you a fair price over the phone but once you get there, it's way more! I got a price for a E4OD trans for my 1993 f250 and he told me he had a lowish miles one pulled and ready for $400 with a good torque converter and when I when to pick it up, all of a sudden it was $900 without a torque converter and he didn't even have it. I was told I'd have to wait until one came in. There's was no telling how long it would've been too. I seriously doubt I will ever go back unless I absolutely have to! I've heard these types of stories many times too.
I inquired about a non electric front driver's side front seat for my 04 Camry LE and by pure luck they 1 and even better it was the same color design and pattern. The purchase was in my price range to . Saved me a trip to Tulsa and they even pulled it and gave me the bolt's and by Surprise it fit like a glove to the floor. The original power seat wouldn't recline up because of the power motor stopped working.

Not the best place to do business. Bought a motor, told us 600. Brother in law goes over there and hands him 600 and the guy try to say he was a 100$ short and charge an extra 40$. After he gets down the road and realize he turns around to go comfront the guy not even a mile down the road and when he gets back there the guy is gone. Was only supposed to spend 600$ and had to pay 740$ for the motor. Please please don’t do business there if so watch your back.
Crooked people. Paid for a motor in February over the phone said it would be there in 2 days. Called and they kept telling me it was in Kansas city and would be there in 3 more days. Never there. Called a week later and said it was never ordered. Asked for a refund and they wouldn't do it. They guy got irate and said be careful or I'll say I didn't sell you a motor. That's a crook and a poor excuse of person. Nothing but lies and more lies.
Ordered a v6 from them, received after a few days and as soon as they unload it from the truck I see oil pouring out of it. Take a look and there is a hole pushed out from the block, looked like where a rod tried to make an exit. So they tell me they have another one. I wait a few days and they deliver me a 4 cylinder. At this point I was beyond frustrated and receiving the complete wrong motor just added to the list so I asked for a refund. That was a month and a half ago. Still waiting for refund! They keep saying they have to wait till they get more people in the office to refund. Not sure why they are staying open when they don't have anyone that can operate a credit card machine. Regardless be careful with this place as they seem to like to hold onto money.
Would not recommend to anyone worst customer. Service. And lies to u about parts and prices. Was told it be ready at 10 am showed up at 12 and part not pulled. Asked about a discount. Since he didn't have stuff ready and he was costing me money making more that one trip and her said price was 175 now. Please use poorboys. Or anyonther place. They actually care about there customers.
Steve Bear 🐻 is a wonderful man who who works really hard to take care of his customers. And he always goes the extra mile to help people out. He's a very hard-working man and does a great job at running his business. Man of God . He has helped out more men and women who are trying to gain their recovery with a vital step of transportation. Even when doing so knowing they have no way to give him the full amount for this help. He also mentors and helps men who need a second chance at employment.
Stopped to check on parts and he wanted $50' min for a part that cost $25 new and I left and will never go back . His prices are so laughable . Horrible customer service
Bought tires and rims for my daughters car. It took 3 days to get the right ones. Turn out the tires were dry rot. Rims were rusted and worn down. He just put my daughter in danger. They weren't even safe for the road. Steve is nothing but a liar and a crook.
Don't ever have them work on your vehicle! I had them replace an engine in my Ford Escape. He promised in 10 days which sounded like quite a long time, but I agreed. It's been 3 weeks now and 4 stories from Steve on why they don't have it done yet. I have never heard so many different excuses, but my favorite was "We only have 11 employees" like it was something he didn't realized until after telling me he could deliver it in 10 days.
I have had nothing but great experiences with the folks here. I had the clutch and pressure plate replaced on my 2006 Kia Rio. They offered me the cheapest price for the service, so naturally I went with them. They also discovered that the slave cylinder was shot; causing the clutch to prematurely wear, so they replaced it and only charged me 40 bucks extra. When the car had a fifth gear issue shortly after the clutch replacement, they investigated the linkage for free. To sum it up: if you want professional service at a discounted price, this is the place for you. Keep in mind you will have a longer wait period then with other mechanics. Steve and his team are honest and they stand behind their work.
First & Last Time Here-lost money, bad service Was given the wrong part and came back to exchange. The part would be ready in 2 hours. It wasn’t. They said to come back in another 2 hours. Came back & it still wasn’t ready. They said they were so busy they weren’t able to get to it. All we needed was an ABS Module. We asked for a refund and they charged us a 20% fee.
Don’t waste your time and money with this place. I got a motor from him and it was the wrong size and he doesn’t want to make it right. So I’m going to take it to the next level. Lesson learned.READ THE REVIEWS ON ANYONE YOUR PLANNING ON BUYING FROM FIRST. All he wants is your money and then your up a creek without a paddle.
Absolutely the worst service bought a transmission with 30 day warranty and gave him my core Tuesday he promised itd be out the next morning ready to pick up i call 10 am next day he says its almost done that hed call me i show up at 3pm he gives me excuses and says he’d deliver it the next morning personally and now i sit here at 1pm and ive yet to get a call!! Terrible terrible terrible
I was in a roll over accident and they had towed my car well they told me the price I owe for the tow NEVER gave me a dead line or anything. Next thing I know they send a letter saying “they have taken possession of my car” absolutely ridiculous DO NOT get a tow by them!!!!!!!!
Save your money and go to tulsa or owasso and get what you need or order online. This guy is a liar. You will be waiting hours upon hours for what you need. If your a woman he is crude and treat you like your stupid and overcharges. Doesnt stand by his words on parts or motors. Doesnt get in a hurry to pull parts and doesnt worry about customer serviçe. Horrible place. Unless this is your last resort dont go. He will not give you a refund and will not stand by his warrentys. -if there was a negative star review id give them that.
This may be the worst salvage yard I've encountered. For 3 days I called to see if they had a headlight that I needed. Each time that I called, a man told me that he'd walk out and see and then he'd call me back. Finally, I just gave up on this company. My dad and brother have had bad dealings with them also. My advice to anyone is save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.
What a waste of our time. They guaranteed us that they had 3 of the wheel that we needed. We drove the 20 miles to pick it up and it was "still on the vehicle." He told us that he didn't have anyone to get it off, to come back later. We came back later...apparently he was still to busy to go get the wheel. We drove the 20 miles back the next day and the wheel was STILL on the vehicle. Then he decided that it was the wrong wheel anyway and if we wanted to come back at 3 that afternoon, he would have another wheel but it was more expensive. I don't know if this guy is lazy, dumb or a swindler..but I will NEVER step foot in their salvage again.
Very dishonest business, bought a transmission with 90 days warranty supposedly. Took truck with a non working transmission to Steve after 3 days of purchase. He gave a lip service about checking out the transmission then and 3 weeks later, he has yet to work on it. Now he said transmission is out of warranty and claimed that something else is wrong with the truck and gave all kind of excuses and costs owed to fix it. Heard lots of rumor on this outfit and now the rumors turned out to be the truth.
They are a bit expensive for some folks, but the trade-off is a pretty good selection of the hard to find items one cannot buy at a parts store. The folks there are courteous. They are busy behind the scenes.
My nephew bought a motor from Claremore Auto Parts Monday 01/06/2020 paid cash for it! The shop that I have doing the work got the motor in yesterday evening. The mechanic began working on the motor today and came across this problem before he installed the motor. Told me motor was no good! So I called Claremore Auto Parts a few times asking about the motor and explain the reason for calling. I asked can I bring the motor back and get my money back and he replied we don’t refund cash motors. I have a Receipt and will be taking this to the next level.
The owner is a parts ninja. If you need a part, even if you don't know what it is called, then this is the guy for you. They sell quality used parts and the prices are fair.
They sold me a motor 1yr older than my car and didnt tel mel until it was shipped and it had 30k more miles than what i put deposit down on plus i paid thousands to have install and it had a bent valve.... plus the owner advise me before i purchased they have a shop and we turn them over before we sell LMAO..... Turns out the motor has bad timing chain and a bent valve 5months later this company still has my car saying we should have it out any day ..... They had the nerve to say someone put a timing chain in it and bent a vavle wooooow... They claimed it was supposed to be fixed 10/15/2020 but a no call ... They have lost because of there Negligence
Guy at the front desk takes his sweet time, and actually walked away when I walked in and never came back out I was standing in lobby for 15 minutes before I decided to leave. Everytime i call about a part they just tell me to try Owasso without even looking for me
