Avoid this company if you have other options! This is a trash company, literally and metaphorically. Customer service is a joke, if you can get the employees to answer the phone. If you can’t, their voicemail is full so you can’t even leave a message.
They never delivered our trash can until a week after we started trash service, and that was after calling them to inquire. We’ve paid for trash service for the entire month of June and have had our trash picked up once (the gentleman delivering our trash can was kind enough to throw the bags of garbage in our driveway onto his trailer).
I’ll be happy to increase the number of stars as time goes on, but I’m not holding my breath after my experience over the past 3 weeks.
P.S. Sorry not sorry about the 2 weeks worth of baby diapers that have been baking in the trash can.
Worst company ever. The service is non-existent. The employees have rotten attitudes and service is routinely missed.
If you’re looking for a disposal service, use anyone else.
This service is horrible! Days of missed trash pick up. When I call to ask about pick up, the office lady is very nice, but there seems to be retaliation by the driver by not dumping the trash or all of the trash for various reasons. Seems the trash driver has no control in other areas of his life so overcompensates with trash control. I have sympathy for the office staff who have to deal with the actions of their coworker, who doesn’t show them enough respect to return their calls in a timely manner. All I want is the service I pay for in a timely manner. If you can’t deliver that, the monthly bill should be adjusted.
If the ranking allowed for negative numbers I would give them -10. They are unreliable, misleading on special services, unresponsive, and the owner is rude caring nothing about the customer. Avoid this company at all costs if you have any options. If you live outside the Harrah city limits you can opt for another waste disposal company. I switched to Eastside Waste System who are the opposite and run a solid business.
My neighbor across the street uses harrah disposal. They frequently miss picking up their trash. And yesterday they pulled up and honked their horn until the owner came out. Turned out they told them their cans weren't close enough to the road. I don't know how much closer they could have gotten.
Mistake was made, no big deal but promised a trash can by the end of the week by the unhelpful owner!!! What are do u do with trash for a week?? Was told by owner to just keep it in your garage!!
I don’t normally give bad reviews but this is the Worst customer service ever. These are just hateful people. I’m embarrassed they are part of my community and I can’t believe they are still in business. I have stuck with them for 10 years even with bad service because they are local, but after speaking with them to day about an honest mistake, I’m DONE! I accidentally sent them a check for an account that was closed because my house was broken into. I quickly apologized and corrected the mistake with a credit card and paid a late fee once I was made aware of the situation. I also informed them that one of my poly carts were stolen at which time they became hateful, rude and demanded that I pay for it. I advised that I would file a police report for the stolen property but would absolutely not pay for something that was not my fault. Karen just kept bringing up the $30 check mistake. THAT I ALEADY TOOK CARE OF! Really? At that point, I told them just to pickup the cart. My parents live next door to me and they have been using Waste management for years and have had no problems ever so that is who I would recommend.
Post note: after posting this review, Karen from Harrah Disposal contacted me via FB messenger and threatened to post my name and derogatory information about the mistaken check I sent on their timeline if I didn’t remove the post. Please beware of these people.

What can you say about trash pickup? I moved here 5 years ago, trash pickup every week, early. Call or visit the office and they're always polite and smiling.
They are so so friendly. The trash men wave and honk for our kids who are infatuated with garbage trucks. They are reliable, affordable, and some of the nicest workers. They go above and beyond. Thanks Harrah Disposal!
I don’t know why this place has such low reviews. They are always very helpful to me on the phone. They have forgotten to pick up my trash ONE time, but when I called they came out the next day. They aren’t neurosurgeons and I doubt anyone’s life was on the line. They are reasonably priced and friendly. I highly recommend them!!
Terrible customer service... Advertised hours inaccurate, claims they dont have control over what Google shows (not accurate, it's very easy to claim a business with google and update the information). Been up there twice to pay a bill to be told they couldn't take my money as they were already closed (google said they'd be open for another 2 hours one time, google and window display said another 30 mins another time). Made me drive back up there a different day to pay, wasting my time and costing me money having to leave work early and didn't seem to care. I won't do it again, I canceled my service and am trying another company. Good luck with them if you decide to try them!
They’ve always picked up our garbage promptly. Today they waited for me while I brought my can out at the last minute. It was a stressful morning with pool issues and pet issues and my husband out of town. That little bit of courtesy from the guys made a big impact. Thank you.
I've noticed that most reviews are written when people are upset, and I don't know everyone's experiences, but I just called their office this morning with a question, and they promptly picked up the phone and answered my question in a kind and courteous manner. I apologize I didn't catch your name, but thank you.
Another week that my trash didn’t get picked up. The ladies in the office apparently never answer their phones, and when you go to the office they treat you like garbage. Im not keen on throwing my money away to someone offering a service they don’t deliver, so we are switching.
Horrible. They are not customer friendly whatsoever, always excuses on why trash is never picked up on time, our trash hasn't been picked up twice due to their trucks being broken and workers being sick. At least compensate your customers if you're going to be unreliable. Save your money, time, and energy. Go with another disposal company.
